Bristol City won't be progressing from Group E but outside of last week's loss to Charlton,
Charlotte Healy will be delighted with her side's ruthless nature in front of goal.
They've scored 11 in their last three. Spurs' season is ticking along nicely,
qualification from the group is in their hands and of course off the back of that
North London derby draw too. For Bristol City four changes for the hosts, Naomi Williams,
Esther Morgan, Harley Bennett and Olivia Johnson come in as the Robins try and make an impact
and for Spurs, Martin Ho makes three switches. Martha Thomas has handed her first start of the
season. Ashley Neville was superb in the derby, will have to settle for the bench today.
A little touch here as Spurs start to make their way forward.
Edge of the area now, this could be dangerous towards the edge of the box and it's off the
post and bounces away, still dangerous here. Nilden very, very close to the opener.
Bristol City have managed to quite get hold of it here.
Holt just lays it off, a couple of options on the left-hand side again, ball back across goal,
it could be tapped in, it's bounced away first time, it's smashed away second.
Spurs are pushing, there's no doubt about it.
More smart play now down the right-hand side, the good work from Spence, it's
back through to the centre, it's Holt, dancing her way through, good save first time, tapped home
second but it is not going to count. The flag is up against Thomas, which is better. Edge of the
penalty area, Hibbert Johnson lays it back under some pressure, balls clipped in nicely and inches
away from the head of Hardy. Rio Hardy just threw a head at it, an inch too short. Bristol City after
a shaky few moments here and there have really improved as the game has gone. Panberg has done
really well now, left-hand side with Vindberg, edge of the six-yard box and it's bundled home
by Thomas. A big goal for her and an opening goal for Spurs as well, just got enough on it.
To put her side in the lead, oh it's been very sloppily given away and just about dealt with
as Holt charged in. Williams maybe got away with one a little bit there, yet again Spence just
controlling things beautifully and that's a fantastic ball into the penalty area, could be a
big chance for Spurs but Vindberg can get it under control, big thumbs up from her. Ball through
initially from Spence was an absolute beauty, kind of taken fairly short, knocked towards, goal it's
off the crossbar again for Spurs, air shot from Spence, prodded away to safety. There's the face
of a woman who cannot believe it, Holt, great strike of the ball. Spence just getting enough
and getting a knock in the process, she seems okay. Unifern not too bothered now, left-hand side of the
penalty area, it's put a very dangerous ball across, it evades everyone. Gunning-Williams was charging in
just bounced over an eight, have a little turn, there's a few options available and it's just wide
from Lexi Lloyd-Smith, we know how dangerous she is, brilliant play from Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
Four goals already this season, last few surely seconds of the game. What goes over the halfway
line, little flick, Bristol City should get a hold of this. Ball goes out of play and the full-time
whistle is blown by Amy Fern. You have to be fair to Bristol City at times, they did have some really
really good moments in this game, they had chances but then so too did Spurs, the woodwork hit twice.
Some brilliant movement in front of that Bristol City back line as well, they were confident of
progressing this evening, they have progressed this evening, it is Spurs who win on the night and we'll be looking toward the
quarter-final draw in only a few days time. It finishes Bristol City nil, Tottenham Hotspur one.
