Villarreal CF came from behind to claim a 2-1 victory over Valencia CF at the Camp de Mestalla, sealed by a dramatic stoppage-time winner. Pepelu gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot in the first half, but Freeman equalised after the break with a header from Cardona’s cross. With the game seemingly heading for a draw, Mikautadze finished a quick counter-attack in the 96th minute to secure all three points for Villarreal.
