I cured my man flu with THIS drink

Last week I suffered from a very serious case of man flu.
I was on the search for something
that would just ease my sore throat,
which led me to this drink, the One Hot Ginger.
Whilst I didn't try it, whilst I was unwell,
this is supposedly a cure.
It's kind of like a hot toddy meets juice bar cold remedy.
So, hot water in here to temper the glass,
because we don't want to crack it.
First ingredient, here's one and a half ounces,
45 mil of bourbon,
followed by three quarters of an ounce,
22.5 mil of Grand Marnier,
cognac-based orange liqueur.
And then we're doubling down on the spice component
by incorporating a ginger syrup and a cinnamon syrup.
Now, these ones are from Libra & Co.
Speaking of, they've got a massive sale on at the moment,
so you can get up to 30% off their syrups.
And for those people in Australia that are like,
oh, Steve, stop using Libra & Co.
It's really annoying,
because it's not available in Australia.
I'm going to change that.
I already have placed an order for a palette,
and it's due to arrive in January.
It's going to become available,
because I had enough people email me complaining
in Australia about not being able to get
good quality syrups.
So, if you want to, you can pre-order them.
You'll be able to find links in the description below.
I'm not going to be doing the 30% off, though,
because I have to pay a lot for shipping.
I'm sorry.
If you're in the States, up to 30% off.
First of all, we're going to start
with their fiery ginger syrup.
Nice and warming.
Three quarters of an ounce, 22.5 mil.
Then we have a cinnamon syrup,
made with two different kinds of cinnamon.
So, that warmth and that aromatics,
really nice and strongly flavored.
So, half an ounce, 15 mil.
Quite a bit of syrup in this,
but we do have a larger volume for this particular drink,
as well as a full ounce of lemon juice to balance that out.
Smell that cinnamon.
That cinnamon was really punchy on the nose.
So, one ounce, 30 mil of fresh lemon juice.
And now we're tripling down on that spice component.
So, we've got ginger, cinnamon,
and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper.
That was a fair bit.
And hot water.
This is roughly about 90 degrees.
So, we want four and a half ounces, 135 mil of hot water.
Now, I think a slice of lemon in this
would work really well,
but the recipe does call for a twist of orange.
If you're actually using this as a cold remedy,
you're not going to be too focused on presentation.
You're just going to pour it into, probably a coffee mug.
And I think this probably presents
a little bit better than a coffee mug.
The one hot ginger.
Pretty spicy.
Tastes like this would be perfectly suited,
if I was sick, if I was unwell.
I should have drunk this last week.
If you enjoy hot toddies, or if you're unwell,
then give the one hot ginger a go.
So, as I mentioned, I'll be importing
Liber and Co. syrup, so if you're in Australia,
feel free to place a pre-order,
because I think it's going to go fairly quickly.
And if you're in the States,
take the opportunity up until the first of December.
You've got the sale on.
Discounts between 20, 25, 30%,
depending on how many you buy.
