‎In this video I am restoring a cherry pitter that is very rusty.I bought this cherry pitter from eBay. When I unboxed it, it was broken. It was packaged very poorly, so it may have broken during shipping.

‎I started the restoration work by disassembling the cherry pitter.I used vinegar to remove rust from cherry pitter. I added electricity to speed up the rust removal. Grinding on the cherry pitter parts. Then filling and painting. Polishing to make the paint more shiny.The middle plate of the Chery Peter was in very bad condition. There were holes due to rust. I tried to restore the original plate. I started welding the plate. Well, after welding a lot, the plate was welded. This cannot be called very good welding because the plate is made of cast iron. But this plate will not break. All the screws on the cherry pitter were damaged due to rust. So I made new ones.After restoring all the parts, I assembled the cherry pitter.
