WILL THIS RIDICULOUS DRIFT MOD WORK ON MY ELECTRIC DIRT BIKE?

I've just created the sickest Sauron modification ever,
but will it work?
♪ You know I'm rockin' with the best ♪
Hello everyone, today is gonna be epic
because I've got my Sauron Lightbee here
and we've modified it into
what is hopefully the ultimate drift machine.
As you can see, the back end is looking very different.
This is the tricycle conversion kit
that I put on my Canyon Stitch 360 jump bike
and I've somehow bodged it onto the Sauron.
As you can see, the Sauron has a bigger,
more motorcycle-like chain
and this conversion kit is made for bicycles,
so it's all super small.
So we've got a mix of motorbike chain
and then a super sketchy freestyle derailleur on there,
which just, it isn't meant to be, so hopefully it works.
And for the drift stuff on the back,
we've cut out this plastic piping
and then wedged the wheels in there with the tyres flat
and then we've pumped it up.
And as you can see, it's gonna blow at any minute
because the tyres are all just hanging off of the rims.
Look, so sketch.
Sport mode activated.
Boys, it sounds so aggressive.
Oh, oh!
Oh no, something's broken.
That was the best for a second.
That's our issue.
That's our only problem.
If you look from this side,
the derailleur is going into this big sprocket.
Look, I think if we bend stuff, it might work.
Oh!
Oh no!
Ah!
That's the problem with putting all that power
through a bike cassette.
Oh my God, that is so deaf.
It's kind of working.
Oh, that's so gnarly.
I'm just waiting for it to all explode and blow up
and wrap around my leg and stuff.
I reckon we take it on some grass then
and see if we can get it sideways
because that's literally all I made it for was to drift
and it doesn't work in this car park.
Well, now comes this open field.
Hopefully this setup can stay working long enough
to see if what I want to happen
can be a possible thing on this bike.
Let's try it.
Oh my God!
Oh, it's so, so sketchy to turn.
Whoa, whoa!
Oh, it's all come off again!
Why?
My idea of fixing the Surin when I got home
was not an option
because it actually destroyed
the whole Tricycle conversion kit with its power.
It ripped it apart.
But we've got a new vehicle.
I'm going to need this for it
and it's right there.
This is a light van engine drift trike.
It's a 125 four stroke engine.
It's super noisy.
It's literally a death machine.
And Louie's friend, Brendan Clements,
has given it to us to finish this video on
and actually get some real drifts.
Usually these things have plastic around the tires
so you can use them in car parks.
But for now, we don't have plastic on
and we're going to be using this grass area
to hopefully get epically sideways.
Let's start this beast and be terrified.
Oh, yes.
Look where you change gear with your hand.
It's so, it's such like a rat rod.
I love it.
Oh my God.
Yes.
Oh.
Where am I going?
Oh, you have to steer with the rear, dude!
Drift trike!
You trying it, Louie?
There we go.
We were able to get our drift fix
from this absolute beast here.
That was well fun.
Although it's very dangerous,
super chavvy and ASBO-like, so loud.
We're not really supposed to be here.
So it's probably a good time to end it there
that we're all in one piece.
But that's not the end because I want to show you
my girlfriend's biking progression
at Twisted Oaks Bike Park.
We went on a little session with her.
I forced her to hit drops, jumps,
and all sorts of things that might inspire
some of your girlfriends, boyfriends,
or new people that want to get into mountain biking.
Have a look at this.
Here's Alison then.
I'm scared.
Haven't done a video of Alison for ages
because we actually don't get to ride that often.
So we thought, well, we, I,
thought that would be a good idea.
It's about waist high.
It's quite, I mean, for a start, it's quite scary.
But Twisted Oaks has all the options
for beginners as well as pros.
So you can start up there.
We'll miss the first one.
And you'll roll in, no brakes.
I'll show you quickly.
No brakes, nothing, look.
Yeah, so easy.
I do know that it's kind of scary
because I'm probably a little bit better
at biking than you, so it's a bit easier for me.
But if you do that, your learning level will go up so quick.
Alison's ready.
We're in slow motion.
Don't brake.
Pull up normally off there.
That's it.
Let it, keep going, keep going.
Pull up.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
Yo, sick.
That was proper.
How easy was that?
I cut her, look, I cut her head off a bit.
So she's gonna go again.
Anyway, practice makes perfect.
Yo.
Okay, well, things have ramped up quite dramatically
and she wants to do that one into that one.
I know for some of you watching, that's nothing.
But for some of you, you've not done stuff like that yet.
So I gave the pep of don't brake with the front,
know your speed and send it, basically.
She's against that tree.
She's not gonna pedal.
She's gonna roll, which might feel slow,
but when you pop off a drop, you tend to go a bit further.
I'm gonna stand here to show I'm like a barrier
for this tree and then I'll run off the end there.
Yeah.
That's it.
Go on, hop it, hop it, hop it.
Nice, go on.
Your face.
I couldn't run, I forgot what to do.
I'm gonna run then.
Well, it's not that bad.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's good.
Yeah.
That's it.
Hop.
Nice, perfect.
Yeah, go on.
Yeah.
Sick.
That is progress, dude.
Is that dusty?
We've come over from the success of the double drop line,
which I'd say is quite technical for a beginner line
because of that turn into it.
We've now brought you over to this line,
which looks scarier because you're below the jump,
so it looks massive.
It's actually not.
Go and have a little case on it.
Can't wait.
And show everyone how it's done.
But once you land that,
even if you land it badly, just roll.
Just roll, don't brake, roll.
Yeah, and then you can slow down and...
Yeah, you can jump it a little bit,
but just don't go full speed just yet.
Maybe a sack of potatoes by then.
Yeah, well true.
Hop.
Go, go, hop.
Nice, almost cleared.
Start a bit further back on the top.
I can't find it.
Yeah, it looked quite jarring.
I'm going.
This is it.
Power.
Yeah, that's it.
Jump.
Yes, jump.
Yes, so close.
So close, fly nose.
Lovely.
Hop.
Amazing.
Yeah, that was so, so close.
That's it.
Yeah, perfect.
Nice, keep going.
Right, we've come to the part of the video
which could be involving a crash.
I haven't brought her here to crash, really.
I'm gonna make sure she doesn't,
but we've come to this skinny,
which is quite a technical feature.
Luckily, it's only a foot off the ground.
Let's see if she can do it.
I say go in a lower power mode so it's not aggressive
and a lower gear.
Oh my God, that was quite quick.
That was actually the worst it will be.
You might as well do it on your own now.
That was really good.
I'm gonna put that there so I can save you.
Oh, she done it.
You might not have seen the end there, but she made it.
Yeah, that's so cool.
I thought your front wheel might have went in there.
That's quite the danger bit.
See?
Skinny, completed.
It's kind of like a bit of a ticking bomb like that,
so we won't play on it for all day.
Because even I would mess up, but I know how to jump off it.
Next jump challenge, Rallison, is this step down.
Yep, you're gonna need a lot more speed than that,
aren't you?
Oh, that's it.
Hop it.
Oh, yo, cool.
Basically done it, yeah.
This is it.
She's in, full power, big clip.
That's it.
Oh, amazing.
Yeah, that was it.
Airtime queen.
Whoa, amazing.
Ali's in for another bit of progression.
It's this cannon to here.
This is it.
Easy.
Yeah, that's it, that's it, that's it.
Hop, hop, hop.
Yo, keep going, keep going, round the berm.
Yo.
Don't go off the drop though down there.
Although you could do that.
Wait, stop there.
This could be ultimate progression.
Look.
Why not?
You could do it, yeah.
She's in again, bit more speed
and I'm gonna run along the whole trail.
Go on, pedal, yeah, keep going.
Yeah, that's it, hop.
Fire, yo, keep going.
Oh wait, stop, stop, stop.
Let's sort that out, that's ridiculous.
Yeah, go on, hop it.
Nice.
Flowing.
Amazing.
Full flow.
Yeah, send, send, send, hop.
Yo.
Kind of sketchy, kind of scary,
but you stomped a full line.
That was well good, pedaling where you shouldn't.
Yeah, yeah, tried to do it, I think you paid it well.
I think that's enough for today.
No, I was gonna do it again properly.
I've actually had my helmet on the whole time
and not even really been riding, have I?
I have been riding on and off.
Why did I do an extra pedal?
You can do it again if you want.
Am I just getting scary?
Maybe I'll just follow you on the bike.
Go on then.
This is it.
Yeah, hopping, nice.
Straight in.
Incredible, good skills, nice speed here.
That's it.
Yeah, go on, little one, hop, hop, hop.
Yo, yes.
What a day.
That was well good.
You're almost crashing there.
That's actually really insane.
Good work.
Might whine and dine you now.
Yay, I get whine.
There we go, that was a little bonus.
I just wanted to show you Alison's progression.
You can do it.
Even though she hasn't really got to ride much
because, well, she works all the time and I'm always busy,
but that is there for you guys that are a bit nervous
or women that want to try biking.
You can definitely do it.
Do it.
I didn't even have to bully you that much
and you're hitting huge drops and a full line there.
So if anything, that should just show you
to come to Twisted Oaks and if you're scared,
get out there and send it.
See you in the next one.
To the sky.
