Japan vs New Zealand - Highlights - FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup 2025

It's day three of the very first FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup. Time for Group C to get underway as Japan take on New Zealand. That's a really nice back-footed shot. Absolutely sumptuous. And Oino is the first Japanese player on the score sheet. And the shot comes in and that is not far away from being New Zealand's opening goal. Bremner, the right-footed effort. Shot ricochets off the post. Nice cut back and switch up of feet. A block and the follow-up. There is the... Amishiro rifled into the back of the net and that is how you do it. Eventually the corner goes the way of Japan and the shot. The head of Flixie and Blair is the third for Japan. Ikedai ready to nod the ball home. The curled shot and eventually poked home by Japan. She's one of the world's best. Igoa gets her goal. The rebound strike goes in and it's five. Already one goal to her tally in this competition. It's another for Sara Oino. Japan can charge towards goal. Goals, goals, goals galore for Japan. Yukari with the finish. Full-time here. It finishes Japan sixth, New Zealand nil.
