How to make Homemade Miso Paste 〜手作り味噌〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe
In this video, I am showing how to make Homemade Miso paste. Miso is a staple seasoning in Japanese cooking, most commonly known for Miso soup, but it is so much more than that. It can be used in many other Japanese recipes. It is made with only three ingredients, soy beans, salt and Koji mold, a special type of mold/fungus that grow on rice that fermeuntate the protein in the soy beans to make it tasty. Miso taste soooo much richer and deeper when made at home, because most of the store bought Miso are produced without long fermentation, to reduce to cost.
In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Salt 200 g
