Kicker Recalibration Day | Improving Accuracy & Consistency
Episode 383
Collin (11th grader kicker) has a "recalibration day" of training. Over the course of time and the wear and tear of the season, sometimes things get off a little and need some adjustments. Especially teenager boys that are growing. Steps and approaches might need the distance adjusted a little and that's what we worked on today. Measure off his steps and then seeing if he is consistently hitting the same distance on his steps each time. Spoiler alert...he wasn't! So we worked on it. Kicking, like most things in life, needs lots and lots of reps and practice to get really good at it! So, we continue to work at it!
