Centerpartiet has a new party leader Who is she and what does this mean for the party
Elisabeth Tand Ringqvist is one of Mådde Olofsson's former experts just like Anna-Karin Hatt
She has been the chairperson of the business community She has been part of the center for many years
She is what I usually call or what I would call without meaning anything bad by it
A small right-wing faction that wants to push the party even further to the right than it is today
She is very concerned about business issues and reduced employer fees and taxes etc
They also want to introduce the euro and it is a very clear business issue
She is more right-wing than her predecessors
The Center Party has been very clear that it will not cooperate with SD
Could this change
I doubt it It's been stuck since Annie Lööf
He got it with the råksparken because he named Magdalena Andersson as his prime minister candidate
One might wonder why he got fired for that
Today it is very clear that it is the left bloc that the Center Party wants to cooperate with
But she obviously doesn't want the left wing involved in an eventual government or in a collaboration
Everything is fixed People don't want to be with the left and don't want to be with SD
She is trying to change the policy in the iron cage that I think she is in
She first means that she will draw up a list of demands regarding what the Center is doing
She does this by inviting Andersson and Kristersson for a call to try to
Convince them that the alliance might emerge and that one might have moved past SD
She does exactly as Magdalena Andersson and the Green Party and the Liberals do
It is harmful to our democracy when we ignore the 20% of voters who voted for SD
Then one would think they are equally xenophobic in an equally big problem
I must say that this has put the Riksdag in an incredible dilemma
It has placed politicians in a major problem Disrespect for politicians is increasing
Polarization is clear Political debates are horrifying
Additionally we have lost ten years in the fight against crime
or failed integration Everything was about not doing what SD said
From the beginning SD was a problem in democracy and caused a great deal of chaos
Now it's this other group that has taken over the role and it's sad
Rhetoric against SD is very harsh The early cooperation is called the SD government
Especially from the Social Democrats' side At the same time the politics are quite close
What are your thoughts on that
It's absolutely incredible Since 2010 they have been completely fixated on the SD
Totally fixed at SD It has been that one should not drink coffee
or do something they proposed in the policy Now it's waiting
Now they have taken over a lot of SD's policies but they still see SD as the big problem
This means that they have great difficulty accepting democracy and parliamentary systems
What we have in Sweden and what should govern this country
It's quite difficult with these locks constantly causing a lot of problems
There's a bit of a creak in the Tide Party it seems The Liberals have made it very clear that they don't want SD in ministerial positions
Now the Christian Democrats have also started to move closer to the Social Democrats a bit
What are your thoughts on that
I think Abba Bush is very good at getting media attention and getting the media to follow her line
This was an attempt that I believe primarily aimed at including SD in an energy agreement
We already noticed it in the party leader debate on Agenda
It was a completely different tone of conversation between Abba Bush and Magdalena Andersson
The Moderate Party's youth wing went out and shouted and then the Moderates started to riot
Oh then Abba Bush said that you don't get to sit on me because I'm not a follower
Our party is not a silent party we have our own agenda
Oh it was perfectly arranged for the meeting that is currently taking place down in Linköping
So she set the agenda and is now criticizing the Social Democrats again
I never think KD had even a single thought about leaving the civilian camp
It was one of those media spins an incident that the media loves
Now there's a gap now we're going forward and now we're pushing ahead with this
And it did benefit Abba
It is also a problem for the Christian Democrats who are just above the 4% threshold
What does this mean for how people view the Christian Democrats and potential future support
I don't think it's such a big problem because the Christian Democrats are so firmly on the liberal side
They are also used to having such low approval ratings
And because they are so close to the Moderate Party in their policies
It is easier for them to get support from the Moderates than it is now for the Liberals
For the Liberals even the suggestion that they would vote no on the ST was not particularly significant
Since the Liberals have no position of power
It was a way to try to reduce the division within the party but it increased the division within the party
But it shows here in the media logic that it was KD that was interesting and it was the Liberals who just fell away
Actually totally uninteresting and it's dangerous for them because no one is counting on them anymore
What are your thoughts on the Liberals just under a year before the election
I think they are in an extremely difficult situation
Very few people know about Simona Mohamsson either
She does what she can one performance after another
Campaigner it's Mohamsson in all kinds of different ways
He was just as unknown when he became the party leader as he was before
I think it's tough and the party is also split
They are not in agreement on Mohamsson's line not on the independent schools and not on SD
There is a lot of discussion from the party leadership that should have
been addressed at the national meeting which is coming up later in November
It's a broken piece and it's boring
