Usually I record these when I first wake up
and don't look put together.
Hi guys.
This is me trying to be put together.
Got Melvin out to do the intro with me.
I don't think you guys have ever really seen me
not look like a bum.
I thought I would take you guys along with me this morning
on everything I go through in the mornings.
Phone nine of my animals.
All of my animals are waiting patiently.
They're like, what the heck?
Why is everything not done as soon as you get out of bed?
Like I actually took care of myself first this morning.
They're like, no, no, that's not right.
Us first, which usually it is.
But look at, look at this.
I will say is my gecko is like the sweetest thing ever.
He's so sweet.
He's never bit me, knock on wood.
Remember last time you went my hair?
What happened?
We got stuck.
Yeah, everybody is angry with me.
So let's go ahead and get started on some animal chores.
Take you guys along with me.
I brought Melvin out because you guys don't see him as much
because obviously he's always asleep during the day.
He's a little cranky with mom right now
because I woke him up from his nap.
Sorry, I tried to like hold back my sneeze.
My allergies are so bad.
Okay, let's get into it.
Have you guys ever seen an angry baby turtle before?
Because if you haven't, here you go.
He's patiently waiting, patiently waiting for his weeds.
We got to clean out his food bowl.
Don't want to disturb her too much,
but she's still brumating.
I miss my dragon so much.
I can't even.
And I'm redoing her entire cage on Thursday
and I want her to be awake to enjoy it, but nope.
Nope, it's fine.
Oh my God, it's like kind of sad.
We're gonna toss on the handy dandy crocos.
Check out them charms.
Ellie, do you want to come pick weeds with mom?
Ignore my floor.
This is, I know, it's horrendous.
It's horrendous.
Do you want to go pick weeds with mom?
Oh, the weather, the weather.
I'm blind.
I think I might be blind.
Ow, Ellie.
Hi, Millie.
Okay, so this is my little garden-ish for Kirby.
I grow dandelion weeds, violas.
My brain's not working right now,
but this is basically stuff for my turtle.
So let's pick some stuff.
We're gonna go with some good old, ooh, yeah.
Yeah.
We're gonna go with a good old, a good old dandelion,
even though he doesn't like dandelions that much.
This is a Dutch clover.
No barking at the neighbors.
We are gonna go,
I don't think we're gonna go with Dutch clover.
That is a large doo-doo.
Why are we pooping in my garden?
We're gonna grab some violas.
I don't even know if I'm saying that right,
but I'm gonna go one and two.
Ow, God bless Armica.
I've been outside for two seconds and something bit me.
Okay, okay, this is good.
This is good, right?
If the neighbors be, my neighbors hate my dog
and I don't blame them.
Oh, hello, gorgeous girl.
Who's a gorgeous girl?
Rinse them off.
Okay, so this is Kirby's little,
this is Kirby's food.
Just sprinkled on top some calcium for him.
Here, baby.
His favorite flower is that viola.
Loves it.
I don't even know if I'm saying that right,
so nobody come for me.
I just don't want an audience, I guess.
The guinea pigs want their vitamin C,
but before I do that, I'm gonna spot clean them
because wow, did they make a mess throughout the night.
I know, I will be right with yous.
I will be right with yous.
All right, here, piggies.
Stanley.
Here, here's yours.
Here you go.
Ella, here, I'll get you one.
Ella also needs her vitamin C.
Here you go.
It's just a dog treat.
How we doing, Kirby?
Now it's time to feed, oh.
It's time to feed Arnold.
Where I store Arnold's bugs,
I don't think I'm in the picture,
but hopefully the bugs are, I don't know.
Oh, Arnie.
And I like to pick him out some super words.
Me, oh, hello.
You wanna get one out?
Good job, buddy.
Don't drop them.
Ew, ew.
Kirby's hanging.
I'm just gonna let him, you know.
Yeah, you continue doing your thing, Arnie.
Are you eating the dandelion?
That's interesting.
Oh, he said ew.
And then I vacuum out the little poopies
that he's kicked out of his litter box.
I don't think he's in here at the moment.
Am I safe?
Yes.
Gonna see if he wants a little treaty treat.
Okay, then he's all, oh, I missed a poop or ate.
That's fine, that's fine.
For the most part, his home base is pretty cleaned up.
Don't eat my cracks, please.
Don't eat my cracks, yeah.
As a reptile owner, how do I explain this
to other reptile owners
who are gonna call me absolutely bonkers?
Personally, I get my feeder bugs from Dubia.com.
Dubia.com will sometimes send you free bugs
if you've been with them for a while,
and I have been with them for quite some time.
I have a chameleon, a crested gecko, a tortoise,
but he doesn't eat bugs.
Dick, leave them alone.
A tortoise doesn't eat bugs,
and I have a bearded dragon who is currently brumating.
Dubia sent me some hornworms.
Now, I don't get hornworms for a certain reason.
It's because I cannot feed caterpillars to my creatures.
I can't do it.
I don't know, there's something inside of me.
I can't do it.
I cannot bring myself to do it.
So, what was my solution to this?
Take care of them and raise them.
Now, they're gigantic worms.
I didn't even, I couldn't have prepared myself
for how big, yeah.
So, I'm down with feeding the roaches, the superworms,
like all the staple feeds I'm good with.
It's just the hornworms that I can't get down with.
They're caterpillars, like I can't, it breaks my heart.
Okay, so anyways, let's clean out my hornworms,
my little home.
I don't know if they bite.
I really wanna hold one.
Like, this thing is massive.
Get off.
Well, I take them all out,
like when they poop like a crap ton.
And I was doing some research.
What these things turn into are naturally in where I live.
So, when they turn into moths, I can release them.
So, I was doing all the research on that
because I was like, what am I gonna do?
Believe it or not, they will eat all of this
within a couple hours.
And I don't even know if they can eat carrots,
but I'm gonna put a massive carrot in there
because I don't know.
These things just eat and eat and eat and they're huge.
And I just, yeah, the baby one I'm gonna hang on to.
Get out of there.
Here's all my hornworms.
Yes, I'm insane, okay, reptile community,
don't come at me and be like,
just feed them, grow a pair and feed them.
I can't, I fed one.
I fed one to my bearded dragon
because she's brumating and I was like,
well, she needs some hydration.
She's been like sipping on some water and stuff,
but I was like, she needs some hydration.
I fed one, I cried afterwards,
and then I had a bad dream about it.
So, no, I'm not doing it.
Losing my mind.
I'm losing my mind all the time.
This is what I look like after I've gone
through the motions of my entire day.
It's not good.
Usually at this point, I snuggle with my animals.
I'm sorry, do turtles pee?
I thought turtles poop and like a ureate comes out.
What is this liquid now dripping down my chest
that's coming from my tortoise?
Well, after doing some research,
apparently that can be used as a defense mechanism
when they do not want to be handled.
Apparently, Kirby was not in the mood to be handled.
So he urinated aggressively.
Excuse the calcium all over his face,
but look at this man.
I decided to let him pick his own weeds out, so.
Buddy, you have calcium all over your face.
Yeah, this is his very first time outside too.
So I just want to say,
if you ever take a baby tortoise outside,
never leave it unattended because birds like these guys.
Okay?
Sorry to be like blunt,
but I just care about the safety of tortoises.
As you should too.
Go Kirby.
Without disturbing her too much,
I think Miss Lucy girl might be awake.
After a two month nap.
I don't know.
We'll see, we'll see, we'll see.
I don't know.
I'm not going to get myself too excited.
