Arctic Blast Brings Snow and Record-Setting Cold to Eastern US

An arctic blast could bring inches of snow and potentially record-setting cold to parts of the eastern U.S. today. Even Florida could reach historic lows before the polar plunge is done, according to meteorologists.

The storm is hitting at the same time as air traffic controller shortages impact travel across the country. Chicago's O'Hare Airport reported average delays of more than five hours yesterday.
