China’s exports to the United States in October fell for the first time in almost two years. Exports are one of the pillars propping up the world’s second-largest economy.

This comes as domestic consumption remains weak, the real estate market struggles, and unemployment remains high.

According to customs data, China’s exports to the United States dropped 25 percent in October from the same month a year earlier.
