SUNDERLAND 1-1 EVERTON ｜ Premier League highlights

Black shorts and black socks, Sunderland red and white striped jerseys, black shorts and red socks. Our referee, Tom Brammell, gets proceedings under way, Jordan Pickford, nice early touch for him, lashes it forward towards the edge of the Sunderland penalty area. Thien-Oubarie gets a head on it, balls for James Garner! Oh, he's inches wide! Goodness me, he's inches wide, the clock's not even on yet. I thought you'd gone in! Forward towards Illerman and Diay, nice play again, James Garner to Thien-Oubarie, nice little first touch from Thien-Oubarie, nothing on behind him, so he tries to take it forward, he's got three defenders around him, and three is enough. But he does well, he scraps back, wins it. Here's Illerman and Diay for Everton, he's gonna try and go himself, it's a brilliant run, what a run! What a goal! What a magnificent goal by Illerman and Diay! It's an astonishing goal for Everton, surely they won't come back and look at this and try and give a foul for Sunderland. Illerman and Diay picked it up, there was nothing on, and I don't mean there was a little bit on, there was nothing on. He skipped past one, he skipped past two, he skipped past three, he curled it past the goalkeeper. Back it goes to Idrissa Garner-Gay, to Grealish. Grealish, now if he can get space, it's in his locker. Oh, he's hit the post! Jack Grealish, a low shot, beat the keeper, hit the post, cross comes in! And it's headed away. Wide it goes to Grealish, Mikalenko on the overlap. Grealish curls it in, chance for Barry! Oh, he's missed it! Back to Lefebvre again, Lefebvre inside the penalty area, burst into the box, the first shot's blocked. Lefebvre picks it up again, and Granit Xhaka has scored for Sunderland inside the opening 45 seconds of the second half. Lefebvre, who's caused a lot of trouble, Xhaka. Back to Lefebvre, takes another deflection, what a save by Jordan Pickford, I thought that was in. It took a wicked deflection, Jordan Pickford had to readjust himself very quickly and very cleverly. Xhaka, oh, gives it straight to Grealish, and Alcaraz is in space! And Charlie Alcaraz is through on goal! He's got Idrissa Garner with him, a defender's got back, can Alcaraz finish? Oh, no. He's got to do better, but it breaks for Garner. Back to Alcaraz again, can he get a shot away? Back to James Garner, Garner stands it up in the box, there's nobody there.
