Panel: Congress Needs to Do Its Job, Open the Gov’t, Stop Holding America Hostage

Democratic strategist Hyma Moore and Republican strategist Aaron Evans joined a panel discussion with NTD’s Jack Bradley to discuss the implications of the U.S. Supreme Court’s potential ruling on President Donald Trump’s use of emergency powers to impose tariffs.

The panel also spoke on the Federal Aviation Administration’s reduction of flights at 40 airports starting on Friday as a result of the government shutdown that has caused many air traffic controllers to call out of work because they are not being paid. The panel also discussed U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s announcement that she will not seek re-election after her term, on the heels of socialist Zohran Mamdani being elected as mayor of New York City, and the implications of both events on the future of the Democratic Party.
