We talk about 'Out of Africa' a lot, but the hominids didn’t know they were migrating out of Africa. They were just moving, and some of them were moving back into Africa as well. Indeed, the idea that there is any sort of barrier between Africa and Eurasia that our species couldn't cross is a very strange idea.
