SECRET VINTAGE GEM-The Shoppes at Akron Centre/Orangerie Mall in Akron, Ohio

Opened in 1976, this brick mall was originally called the Orangerie. First Energy/Ohio Edison has always been here, keeping the mall afloat. Today it sits clean and polished with the most beautiful floors, sculptures and plants. It’s not advertised or very well known. I really admire this place. Chase bank is here along with Tammie Os. Supposedly a catering place is here too but I didn’t see it. I wish this place could bustle again!
