DESOLATE VINTAGE MALL - RICHMOND MALL - RICHMOND, KY

The Shoppes at Richmond Mall in Richmond, KY was a random stop on our urbex adventures! We got to explore this dead mall on Memorial Day which I’m sure contributed to its deadness, but it felt almost apocalyptic. I couldn’t find out when the place opened but I do love the design and small town feel. I believe there was a J.C. Penney and Sears here at some point. I found an abandoned Walmart as a former anchor as well, which was super weird. The Walmart was vintage style! It was neat to look at this quaint mall with the echoing hallways.
