Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory C-Area – Sept. 18, 2025 Public Meeting

The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) held a public meeting on September 18, 2025, to discuss the Non-Time Critical Removal Action (NTCRA) at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. EM is in a partnership with Naval Reactors (NR) to evaluate and address legacy facilities and evaluate removal action alternatives for two buildings located in the northern portion of the Bettis Laboratory, known as the C-Area.
