Jennifer Lawrence is officially a newlywed! She got married to her art dealer boyfriend, Cooke Maroney, in a star-studded ceremony in Rhode Island on Saturday.
What’s up everyone, love is in the air! It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney who reportedly started dating in the spring of 2018, just said their “I do's” over the weekend.
The wedding was held at the famous Belcourt of Newport mansion, which was originally built back in the 1800’s and is absolutely stunning. It was inspired by the architecture at Versaille and we can definitely tell.
According to Vogue, J Law walked down the aisle in a Dior gown and it's being reported that she chose Maria Grazia Chiuri, the brand’s creative director, to design the look. Which isn’t a huge surprise, because Jennifer has been known to wear Dior on the red carpet and is an ambassador for the brand.
Jennifer hasn’t revealed any specifics about her wedding or her dress yet, but in June, she spoke about how easy it was to choose her dress and plan her wedding in an interview for Catt Sadler’s podcast, Naked.
She said quote, "I haven’t been neurotic about it. I saw a dress I liked, and I was like, 'That’s the dress.' I saw a venue and I was like, 'Cool, we got the venue.'"
In the same interview she spoke about her now husband, Cooke.
She said quote, “I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully.”
She continued on and said “It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
And that she did! Awww, I needed this love story on this Monday. Thank you J Law and Cooke.
And though most details about the wedding festivities still remain under wraps, we know it was a star-studded celebration.
Emma Stone, Adele, Amy Schumer, and Kris Jenner were all in attendance, which sounds like my dream wedding guest list… but even these A-listers were subject to strict security measures.
And we know when Kris Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence are together… it’s a wild night!
According to People Magazine, the 150 wedding guests were reportedly required to turn in their phones ahead of the ceremony to prevent leaks.
Which obviously worked. Fans on Twitter are dying to see some pics… and honestly, so are we.
One person tweeted this funny video and said quote, “i have to give credit to all the guests but the fact that there is not a single leaked photo of jennifer lawrence’s wedding DISGUSTS me.....”
And another said quote, “Can we finally get pictures of her in wedding dress #JenniferLawrence”
But not having phones didn’t stop the wedding guests from partying through the night.
According to the Daily Mail the wedding was an all weekend celebration.
It started with a dinner at an art gallery on Thursday night, they tied the knot on Saturday, and the weekend ended with an intimate after-party that stretched well into Sunday morning.
At the reception they had some of the areas best food trucks catering and one of the food truck owners told People that quote, “People were really nice. We were serving guests until quarter after 3 a.m., and then started serving security.”
But I want to know what you guys think about all of this. Do you think we will see some pics from Jennifer and Cooke’s private wedding soon? And who would be on your dream wedding guest list? Also, are you ready for some new Adele music? Let me know down in the comments below.

Jennifer Lawrence is officially a newlywed!
She got married to her art dealer boyfriend,
Cooke Moroney, in a star-studded ceremony in Rhode Island on Saturday.
What's up everyone? Love is definitely in the air.

So I feel very honored to become a Moroni.
And that she did. It's a love story we all love to hear on a Monday. Thank you, JLaw and Cooke.
And though most details about the wedding festivities still remain under wraps,

And we know that when Kris Jenner and Jennifer Lawrence are together, it's a pretty wild night.
I was way more drunk than your mom. You take it easy on your mother.
Not possible. It was, it was so funny.
Don't even remember.
According to People Magazine, the 150 wedding guests were reportedly required
to turn in their phones ahead of the ceremony to prevent leaks.

We were serving guests until a quarter after 3am and then started serving security.
Apparently, Jennifer and Cooke partied all night long.
They stayed at the afterparty until around 5.30am when the last guests left.
Now that's how you celebrate your wedding night.
A source told People quote,
It was an all-night party.
Jen and Cooke were the last people to leave at 5.30am.
They waited until all the guests were gone so they could personally say goodbye.
When they left, Jen looked happy but also a bit tired.
She also looked stunning in a jeweled dress.
And fans have been sharing their excitement for the newlyweds on Twitter.
A JLaw fan account wrote,
It is with full hearts that we wish our cheerful congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke
Maroney on the occasion of their wedding. May their journey be successful.
Another fan said,
Adele, Emma Stone, Cameron Diaz, Kris Jenner, Nicole Richie, Josh Hutchinson,
Ashley Olsen, Woody Harrelson, Bradley Cooper.
Jennifer Lawrence's wedding really is more star-studded than most award shows
and I think that's beautiful.
And others tried to stir the pot with some rumors.
A couple of fans tweeted about something that might be just a rumor,
but if it's true, I'm freaking out right now you guys.
On the night of the wedding, one wrote quote,
Adele will be performing her new single for the first time at Jennifer Lawrence's wedding tonight.
And another said quote,
Adele is set to perform at close friend Jennifer Lawrence's wedding this coming Saturday.
So I guess while we wait for pics from Jennifer's wedding,
we can also get really excited about some potential new music from Adele.
I mean, she apparently is working on new music.
If Adele actually is releasing a new album soon, it will be her first since 2015
when she released 25, which was a massive hit.
Last year, an insider told The Sun that quote,
She's back in the UK and intends to write here.
A number of studio musicians have been approached to work with her
and she's already penned some of the songs.
And in April of this year, Adele confirmed that she
and her husband Simon Konecki had split up.
And we know Adele loves a good breakup album.
A few days after announcing the news of her split,
she hinted that a new album may be on the way after
posting a message celebrating her 31st birthday.
She wrote quote,
This is 31.
Thank f***ing God.
30 tried me so hard, but I'm owning it and I'm trying my hardest to lean into it all.
No matter how long we're here for, life is constant and complicated at times.
I've changed drastically in the last couple of years and I'm still changing and that's OK.
31 is going to be a big ol' year and I'm going to spend it all on myself.
She continued on and said,
For the first time in a decade, I'm ready to fill the world around me and look up for once.
Bunch of f***ing savages.
30 will be a drum and bass record to spite you.
So yeah, that definitely sounds like plenty to work with
and lots of inspiration for an epic Adele album.
We're just glad to see she's in a good place and is back in the studio.
And while there's no confirmation of an album yet,
I can't help but wonder what it's going to be called.
I mean, her first three albums are titled 19,
21 and 25 after her ages at the time.
So could this one be called 31?
Probably not.
Adele revealed to James Corden that 25 would be her last album named after her age,
but she hinted that maybe it could be a self-titled album called Adele.
I would personally love that, but I guess we're just going to have to wait and see.
And I cannot stop wondering if she actually did perform her new song at Jennifer's wedding.
I mean, that would have been amazing.
But right now, I want to know what you guys think of all of this.
Do you think we'll see some pics from Jennifer and Cooke's private wedding soon?
I really do hope so.
And also, are you ready for some new Adele music?
I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that.
