Amazing Grace (1 Corinthians Study #2) 1 Corinthians 1:1-3

As Christians, one of the things we must constantly be on guard against is falling into the trap of allowing some of the world’s philosophies and practices into our lives. This is true both of individuals and of churches. Sadly, it happens far too often for many reasons. But no matter the reason, it is still sin. If not taken care of, it will take us down the road to eventual destruction and misery.
This is the path that the early church at Corinth had taken. Paul’s first letter was an attempt to begin to correct some of the sinful things that were going on in the church. Yet, in spite of their sin, Paul’s letter begins with a lot of hope and encouragement, not only to the church but for all of us. As we begin our study today, we are going to discover God’s, "Amazing Grace."
