We still remember them as kids and young adults.
But the cast of Young Sheldon has grown immensely,
and each one has exciting updates to share.
Wow.
How did Emily Osment comment on her recent divorce?
Did Reagan Reward really come out as non-binary?
And who recently joined the Hunger Games universe?
I'm as surprised as you are.
Let's find out.
Emily Osment as Mandy.
Although she only joined the cast in season five,
the character and the actress behind her
quickly became fan favorites.
From what we've seen in Young Sheldon and Georgie
and Mandy's first marriage, Mandy has grown a lot.
The first time we saw her, she was a former weather girl
who had to return to live with her parents
because her career and relationship had failed.
And now she's a mother and a married woman
ambitiously taking new steps at work.
In my wildest dreams, I really hope that Mandy
becomes sort of like a local celebrity
and she can't go to the grocery store anymore
because people are obsessed with her weekend weather updates.
We'll see if it happens.
However, the finale of Georgie and Mandy season one
revealed that they still have certain issues.
And the largest things people fight about in a marriage
is trust and money.
And so we're dealing with both of those right now.
Season two will reveal whether Georgie and Mandy
can overcome it all.
Or maybe it'll be the end of their first marriage.
Meanwhile, 33-year-old Emily's personal life
also has its troubles.
You may recall that she tied the knot with her boyfriend,
singer-songwriter Jack Anthony, last October.
The newlyweds looked happy,
but sadly, their marriage didn't last long.
Only five months later, Emily filed for divorce from Jack,
citing irreconcilable differences.
But the exact reason why they went their separate ways
hasn't been revealed yet.
Ultimately, it didn't work out,
was all that Emily shared with the press so far.
Let's hope that the heartbreak wasn't too hard on her
and move on to her onscreen husband,
Montana Jordan as Georgie.
When he got the role in Young Sheldon,
the actor was around 14 years old.
And we must say that Montana was perfect for the part
because he's so similar to Georgie.
Just like his character, he's from Texas.
He played football at school
and would always get in trouble for having a messy room.
But ever since then, Georgie has grown up
and so has Montana.
While the eldest Cooper kid is all set to become
the tire king we saw in The Big Bang Theory,
the actor behind him couldn't be happier
about the success of his TV series.
I'm glad that people, you know,
continued to tune in and love the show
and fall in love with these characters.
What he especially loves about filming it
is that he gets to bring his family on the set every week.
Wait, did you know that Montana is also a young father,
just like his character?
His baby girl recently turned one.
You are a blessing to Mama and Dada, Emma Rae,
Montana wrote in a birthday post on Instagram
and shared lots of photos.
His co-stars can't stop gushing over
what a family man Montana is.
Even though he loves his work,
the actor rushes home the moment the filming is finished.
After work is done, he just runs,
he's like, gotta go, gotta go see my kid.
I don't even take my makeup off.
No, he just runs home to his family
and that's the way it should be.
Soon after the birth of their baby girl,
Montana and his long-term girlfriend Jenna got engaged.
And recently, on June 21st, they got married.
Montana let Jenna do all the planning for the ceremony.
You know, that's kinda not my department.
I kinda let her do everything
and I just show up and be happy.
And she did a great job,
organizing a classic cowboy-themed wedding.
Montana and Jenna look blissful in their photos
and their baby daughter couldn't be cuter.
It truly was the happiest day for the couple.
She is the one till death do us part, Montana shared.
And you know what?
I might even look around for her after that in heaven.
Making them even happier,
the newlyweds got to share their day with about 200 guests,
including many young Sheldon cast members.
So it looks like Montana is all set at only 22 years old.

Now let's talk about his on-screen sister
who also joined the spin-off's cast a few times,
Regan Revorde as Missy.
The actress was only nine
when she debuted as Sheldon's sassy sister.
As her childhood went on,
Regan enjoyed the experience of being an actor.
"'Getting to travel the world and go to the upfronts
or Pallyfest at such a young age
has given me memories that I'll never forget,' she said.
And she feels great about the opportunity
to come back to the role of Missy.
Most of all, Regan is happy to reunite
I think the first conversation was really just us
being so excited to get to work together again.
Needless to say, the actress couldn't be more proud
of her on-screen brother.
He's killing it. Of course he is.
It's Montana.
When it comes to Missy,
Regan is quite sad about how her life is unfolding.
"'It breaks my heart. She just doesn't have it easy.
Her whole life, she was kind of ignored
because of her brother,
and the one person who paid her attention died.'"
We're yet to see how Missy grows further,
and since Regan is only a recurring star
of the show these days,
she gets to do other kinds of work as well.
What seems to be taking up most of her time
is reading and writing.
I have my book that I'm publishing right now.
How about that?
Yeah, the 17-year-old is an author now.
It all started with Regan being a huge book lover.
Little known fact about me, I read like 24-7.
She had been running her book club for years,
and apparently one day she decided to write a book as well.
It's titled Rules for Fake Girlfriends,
and it's ready for publishing this September.
It's set in England during like the fall,
and it's fake dating, and it's like all my favorite jokes.
And here's another possible reveal about the actress.
Some fans seem to think that she identifies as non-binary.
It's all because there's a Twitter account,
Setting Sunset, that's supposedly led by Regan,
and its description specifies they-them pronouns.
However, the Missy actress hasn't officially confirmed
this coming out, so we still can't be sure it's true.
When it comes to acting,
Regan has had only one new project so far.
She appeared in season three of Night Court,
a sitcom that stars Melissa Rauch
from The Big Bang Theory.
Her character was a teenage runaway
inclined to marry her soulmate.
Let's hope the actress gets to showcase
more of her talent soon.
And now we'll move on to the characters
who haven't appeared in the spinoff, at least yet.
Ian Armitage as Sheldon.
He got into acting way before playing the young genius.
Ian appeared in Law & Order SVU
and had a recurring role in Big Little Lies.
But of course, Sheldon Cooper was the part
that made him a household name.
The actor landed it at only eight years old.
For years, he had to balance his studies
with work on the set.
Additionally, Ian got to go on international press tours
and appear on late night shows.
And these days, he seems to be taking a break from it all.
He's the only member of the Cooper family
who hasn't had a cameo in Georgie and Mandy's first marriage.
To those who know both young Sheldon
and The Big Bang Theory, it's not surprising.
After all, during the events of the spinoff,
Sheldon was studying at Caltech
and he certainly didn't have time to visit his family.
But who knows?
Maybe Ian will make a brief appearance in season two.
Meanwhile, judging from his Instagram,
Armitage appears to be traveling a lot these days.
You can see his photos from all over Europe and Africa.
Besides, he's going to get a pilot's license
after turning 17 this summer.
So it's safe to say that the actor
is having the time of his life.
But is he going back to work anytime soon?
It's unclear, but Ian is not done with acting for good.
I would love to get back into it.
So I'm definitely doing auditions and stuff,
he recently commented.
The actor added that he'd like to do something indie,
action, or sci-fi.
So let's hope that the right roles
will start coming his way.
And here's another actress from Young Sheldon
who can shock you with her transformation.
McKenna Grace as Paige.
When the actress first appeared in season two, she was 12.
Fans of the series were excited to watch her annoy Sheldon
by often being smarter than he was.
And we were all sorry for Paige
as she faced her challenges as a teenager.
Too bad we never found out
why she wasn't mentioned in the Big Bang Theory,
despite being a significant part of Sheldon's life.
The character didn't appear
in the final season of Young Sheldon,
and she probably won't come back
in Georgie and Mandy's spinoff.
Part of the reason is the actress'
extremely busy schedule these days.
Over the last few months,
McKenna has announced several of her new projects.
She's set to appear in Scream 7,
and the actress is excited about it,
as she has always been a fan of the franchise.
Moreover, McKenna was cast in The Nowhere Game
alongside Kiernan Shipka,
as well as a Green Day-inspired comedy movie
featuring Fred Armisen and Sean Gunn.
And she's probably thrilled
to join the Hunger Games universe
as Maisie Donner in the upcoming prequel,
Sunrise on the Reaping.
Oh, and let's not forget that McKenna is also a singer
with two released EPs and over a dozen singles.
Quite many achievements for an 18-year-old, right?
And we're sure that she won't disappoint.
