Back in 1971, a man named Moser dared to dream beyond what Detroit thought possible. He built a prototype 4-valve, quad-cam Chevy 350 an engineering experiment decades ahead of its time. The design promised incredible breathing, high-RPM power, and efficiency that no pushrod small block could touch. But like many great ideas from that era, it never went into production. The concept disappeared into obscurity, a fascinating “what if” in American performance history.

Half a century later, two modern innovators Pete Aardema and Kevin Braun brought that dream roaring back to life. Known for their boundary-pushing land speed engines and creative machining mastery, they re-engineered and modernized the original Moser concept with today’s precision and materials. Using CNC machining, updated valvetrain geometry, and a lifetime of race-engine experience, they transformed the forgotten 1971 design into a fully functional, high-revving masterpiece.

Now, the Moser 4-Valve Chevy 350 runs better than it ever could have in its day a living bridge between old-school ingenuity and modern innovation. What began as a lost chapter in engine history now sings again, thanks to two craftsmen who refuse to let mechanical brilliance fade away. The engine is controlled with a Haltech ECU.
