I have a message for you tonight. I've been pondering since last week when I was in California.
And I was so inspired by the ladies and the men's conference.
And I even called my husband one day and I was pretty charged.
And I said, I haven't felt this uplifted from a conference in a long time.
Now, I go to conferences all the way, as the King James says.
But something is different this time.
And let's start in Genesis chapter 12 tonight.
And we're going to, of course, we know the Lord told Abram to get out of this country and so forth.
But go to verse 12.
Oh, wait a minute. No, no.
That is not the footnotes, but we're not right.
Go to verse 1.
Now the Lord had said to Abram,
Get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation.
I will bless you and make your name great.
And you shall be a blessing.
And I will bless those who bless you and I will curse him who curses you.
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
Now this is the first mention in the Bible of the Lord talking to Abram and telling him about the blessing.
So we see that the Lord gave him instructions and he said,
If you do this, this is my plan for you.
I'm going to make you a great nation.
I'm going to bless you.
I'm going to make your name great.
This is significant.
So if you can hold with me tonight, you'll be ready for the grand finale when we get to it.
So he said,
I'm going to bless those who bless you and curse him who curses you.
Well, we know the children of Israel came out from Abraham.
And to this day, if you bless Israel, you'll be blessed.
Don't ever curse Israel.
The biggest mistake nations and leaders make is cursing Israel and coming against them because they cannot prevail.
Now let's go to Genesis chapter 22.
And did anybody bring an amplified translation tonight?
In Genesis chapter 22, we're going to start verse 1 again.
Now here's the thing.
Remember, God promised Abram a son.
He had to change his name to Abraham because he was slack about believing.
The circumstances weren't the greatest.
You know, think about it.
Based on Luke 6 that we just read.
Don't be too judgmental.
Because if you were 75 plus and your wife was getting up there and you have no children, it would be hard naturally to believe.
But here's the moral of the story is all things are possible.
And God, he gives us things to believe that are beyond what we can do.
If you could do it, you wouldn't need his help.
Sometimes we, you know, I hate to say it this way, but sometimes believers loathe tests and trials.
Or they loathe situations where they have to believe for a miracle.
But God is wanting us to put our faith on something so he can do something we can't do.
We should welcome these challenges in life.
Of course, Abraham and his wife didn't see it that way initially.
But finally, after years of waiting, he gets the promised son, Isaac.
And the Lord told him in chapter 21, in Isaac your seed shall be called.
And I will make a nation of him.
And he said, I'll make a nation too of Ishmael, unfortunately.
But he was going to make a nation of Isaac, his seed.
So then we get to chapter 22 in verse 1.
It says, Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham and said to him, Abraham.
And he said, Here I am.
Then he said, Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love.
And go to the land of Moriah and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.
Now here's an interesting thing that if you don't stop to take some time to think about this situation.
He waited 25 years for this son of promise.
That's a long time.
And everybody's rejoicing.
His son is weaned.
They have a party.
They have a celebration.
They're rejoicing.
God's promised great things for this child.
And I can imagine, now the Lord appears to him and says, I want you to offer him as an offering, as a sacrifice.
A lot of things would shoot through your mind.
Well, wait a minute.
I waited 25 years for this child.
Well, wait a minute, God.
That's not your nature for us to destroy life.
Wait a minute, Lord.
I don't get this.
You told me that it was through Isaac that my seed would be blessed.
It didn't make any sense to me.
Now, we don't have all the details, but I'm sure you have enough information.
Because between verse 2 and verse 3, I don't see any kicking, screaming, protesting, or complaining.
It just says, he rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son.
And he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him.
Then on the third day, that's significant.
Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place of Pharaoh.
And Abraham said to his young men, stay here with the donkey.
The lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.
I'm going to know he's already learned how to call those things which be not as though they were.
Because, you know, he was calling himself father of a multitude of nations before Isaac was conceived.
In Sarah's womb, not Hagar's womb.
So, he's not protesting, he doesn't seem to be sweating it or that concerned.
Why? Because he developed his faith through the 25 year process of actually attaining the promise.
And now he's at a place where he knows in his heart, if I do sacrifice the son, God's going to have to resurrect him.
Because if he doesn't, then God's a liar.
Because God said, to this seed, I will bless your posterity.
And Abraham already saw God's not a liar.
Look at the son of promise showed up.
Sarah was 90 years old and had a baby.
So, he saw the hand of God, he saw the promise fulfilled.
And he developed his faith to where he knew that God would have to come through.
So, Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac, his son.
Think about it, Abraham's 99 plus at this point.
His young son ought to be carrying the wood.
And a knife.
And the two of them went together.
But Isaac spoke to Abraham, his father, and said, my father.
And he said, here I am, my son.
Then he said, look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamp for a burnt offering?
And Abraham said, my son, God will provide for himself the lamp for a burnt offering.
So, there again, he's calling things that be not as though they were.
It didn't just happen the one time that we read about Romans.
So, the two of them went together.
Now, of course, they came to the place, they got everything ready.
Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
And the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham.
And so he said, here I am.
And he said, do not lay your hand on the ladder.
Do anything to him.
For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.
And there is a lot more to this that we're not, the purpose of tonight is to not get into this.
But God had to find a man that would be willing to sacrifice his son so that he could legally sacrifice Jesus, his only son.
And so Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns.
So Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
And he called the name of the place, The Lord Will Provide.
And then, I want you to look at verse 16.
By myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing,
and not withheld your son, your only son,
sometimes you feel like you have to make sacrifices for God.
It doesn't compare to this kind of sacrifice.
He said, because you have not withheld your only son,
blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens,
and as the sand which is on the seashore,
and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies,
and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
because you have obeyed my voice.
So Abraham returned to his young men and they rose and went together.
So here's the thing that I want you to look at from this whole story.
Blessing I will bless you, multiplying I will multiply.
And in your seed, notice that word seed is singular, not plural.
All the nations of the earth shall be blessed.
Why? Because one man obeyed.
Because of one man's obedience,
the blessing was going to affect all of the seed,
and he said all the nations of the earth.
Now when you read this particular verse from the Amplified, verse 18,
it says in your seed, and in parentheses, Christ.
So the seed is referring to Christ.
Shall all the nations of the earth be blessed,
and by him bless themselves,
because you have heard and obeyed my voice.
All right, now let's go over to Genesis chapter 26.
Say I'm awake, I'm alert.
I'm awake, I'm alert.
Genesis 26 and verse 2, it says,
Then the Lord appeared to, well now we're talking about Isaac,
appeared to him and said,
Do not go down to Egypt.
Live in the land of which I tell you.
Dwell in this land and I will be with you and bless you.
For to you and your descendants I give all these lands.
And I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.
And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven.
I will give to your descendants all these lands.
And in your seed, there's that word seed again,
All the nations of the earth shall be blessed,
because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge,
my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
You see the power of obedience.
So here, we're seeing again,
what we're doing is we're following the thread of the blessing.
We see the first mention of it to Abraham in Genesis 12,
and we move on to Genesis 22,
we see him pronounce this blessing again,
after he's willing to sacrifice his son.
Now we see the blessing again being reiterated to Isaac.
Now, look at verse 12.
Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold,
and the Lord blessed him.
And the man began to prosper and continued prospering
until he became very prosperous, say very prosperous.
Very prosperous.
For he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds,
and a great number of servants.
So the Philistines envied him.
They envied him.
What are we seeing here?
We're seeing that the result of the blessing is great prosperity.
Now there's a lot of other things,
but one of the results of the blessing is great prosperity.
And the reason why Isaac was able to sow in the time of famine
and reap a hundredfold is because of the blessing.
But the blessing is activated by obedience.
If he would have gone to Egypt,
he would not have reaped a hundredfold in the time of famine.
Now let's go over to Genesis 27.
In Genesis 27, we're just going to kind of skip around,
but in verse 1,
Now it came to pass when Isaac was old,
and his eyes were so dim that he could not see,
that he called Esau his older son and said to him,
And he answered him,
Here I am.
Then he said,
Behold, now I am old.
I do not know the day of my death.
Now therefore please take your weapons,
your quiver and your bow,
and go out to the field and hunt game for me,
and make me savory food such as I love,
and bring it to me that I may eat,
that my soul may bless you before I die.
Now Rebecca was listening,
and so she came up with a guiding scheme.
As we all know the story,
and she said,
Okay, Esau's out busy hunting,
but quick, go get me a goat from the flock,
and I'm going to prepare it the way your father likes it,
and then you're going to go in,
and you're going to bring the savory food to your father
so that he may bless you.
And Jacob initially protests,
because he said,
Well, my father's going to know it's not Esau.
I don't feel like him,
I don't smell like him,
I don't talk like him.
The opposites in another twins.
Well, anyway, his mother talks him into doing it,
and so let's go to verse 18.
So he went to his father and said,
My father, and he said,
Here I am.
Who are you, my son?
Jacob said to his father,
I am Esau, your firstborn.
I have done just as you told me.
Please arise, sit, and heed of my name,
that your soul may bless me.
But Isaac said to his son,
How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?
And he said,
Because the Lord your God brought it to you.
Isaac said to Jacob,
Please come near that I may feel you, my son,
whether you are really my son Esau or not.
Notice how many times he questioned
whether this is really Esau.
He knew it wasn't.
But he second-guessed himself.
He said,
The voice is Jacob's voice,
but the hands are the hands of Esau.
And he did not recognize him
because his hands were hairy
like his brother Esau's hands.
So he blessed him.
Then he said,
Are you really my son Esau?
He said,
I am.
So he brought the game and he ate it.
And he said,
Verse 26,
Now come near and kiss me, my son.
And he came near and kissed him.
And he smelled the smell of his clothing
and blessed him and said,
Surely the smell of my son
is like the smell of a field
which the Lord has blessed.
Therefore may God give you
of the dew of heaven,
of the fatness of the earth,
and plenty of grain and wine.
Let people serve you
and nations bow down to you.
Be master over your brethren
and let your mother's sons
bow down to you.
Cursed be everyone who curses you
and blessed be those who bless you.
So he pronounced this blessing on Jacob.
Now it happened as soon as Isaac
had finished blessing Jacob.
And Jacob had scarcely gone out
from the presence of Isaac his father
that Esau his brother came in from hunting.
He also had made savory food
and brought it to his father
and said to his father,
Let my father arise
and eat of his son's game
that your soul may bless me.
And his father Isaac said to him,
Who are you?
So he said,
I am your son,
your firstborn Esau.
Now look at verse 33.
Then Isaac trembled exceedingly
and said,
Who?
Where is the one who hunted game
and brought it to me?
I ate all of it before you came
and I have blessed him
and indeed he shall be blessed.
When Esau heard the words of his father,
he cried with an exceedingly great
and bitter cry and said to his father,
Bless me, me also, O my father.
But he said,
Your brother came with deceit
and has taken away your blessing.
And Esau said,
Is he not rightly named Jacob?
For he has supplanted me
in these two times.
He took away my birthright
and now look,
he has taken away my blessing.
And he said,
Have you not reserved
the blessing for me?
Then Isaac answered and said to Esau,
Indeed I have made him your master.
And all his brethren
I have given to him as servants.
With grain and wine
I have sustained them.
What shall I do now for you, my son?
Look at verse 38.
And Esau said to his father,
Have you only one blessing,
my father?
One blessing?
Yes.
There is only one blessing.
I want you to see this.
There is one blessing.
Bless me, me also, O my father.
And he lifted up his voice and wept.
And it says in verse 41,
So Esau hated Jacob
because of the blessing
with which his father blessed him.
And Esau said in his heart,
The days of mourning for my father
are at hand,
and then I will kill my brother Jacob.
I want you to see a few things here.
First of all,
Jacob and his sons,
or I'm sorry,
Isaac and his sons Jacob and Esau
firmly believed in this thing
called the blessing.
They firmly believed in it
because if Isaac had not believed in it
the way he did,
he would not have trembled
after Esau came and said it.
Because he knew,
once I spoke it,
it hasn't even come to pass yet,
that I spoke it,
and the blessing will surely come.
There is a blessing.
The other thing is,
even though Esau vowed to kill Jacob,
he would never have been able to kill him
because of the blessing.
Once you have the blessing,
you have a degree of protection,
you have prosperity,
you have favor.
The blessing brings you
everything you need in life,
and know what,
before it begins,
you shall prosper.
And so eventually,
as time goes on,
we see that Esau dropped the whole idea
of killing Jacob, his brother,
and he was preserved.
The blessing that was on Jesus
kept the religious leaders
from being able to kill him
the first time.
And the blessing that was on Jacob
kept Esau from being able to kill him.
I want you to see
how important this thing
called the blessing is.
We're looking at the line
of the blessing
and how it flows through.
Now, we don't have all night,
so I'm not going to go through
all the patriarchs.
You know, we know that
it passed on to Joseph
and the twelve tribes of Israel.
But it began with Abraham
and it passed on down
and all the way to the seed,
capital S,
which we know is Jesus.
He was the seed
in whom all the nations
of the earth would be blessed,
but first and foremost,
the Jews.
Now let's go to Acts chapter 3.
Acts chapter 3.
So think about it.
I mean, when this revelation
hit me last week,
you're not nearly as excited
as you should be yet,
but you can know some things
because you've read it
once or twice
or heard somebody mention it,
but when it gets in your heart,
the blessing,
there is no reason
why any child of God
should ever, ever
live anything less
than the blessing
provides for them
because it belongs to us.
Now Acts chapter 3 verse 22.
This is a speech
that's being made by Peter.
For Moses truly said
to the fathers,
The Lord your God
will raise up for you
a prophet like me
from your brethren.
Him you shall hear
in all things
whatever he says to you.
And it shall be
that every soul
who will not hear that prophet
shall be utterly destroyed
from among the people.
Yes, and all the prophets
from Samuel
and those who follow
as many as have spoken
have also foretold
these days.
You are sons of the prophets
and of the covenant
which God made with our fathers
and have been speaking
to the Jews.
Remember the Gentiles,
they had not yet
gotten the revelation
that the Gentiles
would deal with us.
And we say,
So we say,
You're the sons of the prophets
and of the covenant
which God made with our fathers
saying to Abraham,
In your seed
all the families
of the earth
shall be blessed.
So we see here
in Acts
it's reiterated
all the families
of the earth
shall be blessed.
It's a blessing.
And the Jews
are the sons of the prophets.
But thank God
it didn't stop there.
Amen.
Now let's go to
Galatians chapter 3.
Hallelujah.
Galatians chapter 3
and starting
in verse 13
it says,
Christ has redeemed us
from the curse
of the law
having become
a curse for us
for it is written
cursed is everyone
who hangs on a tree
that the blessing
of Abraham
might come upon
the Gentiles
in Christ Jesus.
This letter
to the Galatians
is a letter
to the Gentiles
who became believers.
Amen.
That we might
receive the promise
of the Spirit
through faith.
Amen.
Now look down
at verse 15.
Brother and I
speak to you
though it is only
a man's covenant
yet if it is confirmed
no one
annuls or adds
to it.
Now to Abraham
and his seed
capital S
where the promise
is made.
He does not say
and to seeds
as of many
but as of one
and to your seed
who is Christ.
So we see
from this passage
the blessing
of Abraham
comes upon us
in Christ
through faith.
Amen.
Now let's look
at what this blessing
includes.
Because you know
I know we've read
the scripture before
and I know we've
talked about it
but here's what's
going to be different
this year
because it's
Saturday.
Amen.
What's going to be
different this year?
We are going to
walk in our
inheritance.
Amen.
It's about time.
Amen.
So if we go back
to Deuteronomy
chapter 28
now can I please
see the
Epiphyte Bible
for this
in Deuteronomy 28
verses 1-14
we have what's
called the
blessing
of the law
so we see
what God
intended
when he said
I'm blessing you
this is the
blessing.
Deuteronomy
28
and in the
Epiphy
starting in
verse 1
if you will
listen diligently
to the voice
of the Lord
your God
being
watchful
to do all
his commandments
which I
command you
this day
now let me
just say this
we are legally
and officially
blessed
but it always
requires something
on our heart
to walk in it
and that the
main thing
is obedience
that the
Lord your God
will set you
high above
all the
nations of
the earth
you know I've
been thinking
a lot about
this lately
we are
supposed to
be different
people are
supposed to
look at our
lives and
see something
completely
different
and when
he says
here I'm
going to set
you high
above all
the nations
of the earth
people are
going to
notice
just like
the United
States of
America
from the
time it
was founded
really until
recently
it was like
a city on a
hill
blessed above
high above
all the
nations of
the earth
people
coveted to
be here
they saw
something different
here
and it's
because God
was a part
of this
country
and most
people anyway
went to church
and believed
in Jesus
it wasn't
perfect but
you know
it was like
on a hill
going to
and it's
because God
was a part
of this
went to church
it wasn't
perfect
but it was
because God
was a part
but it
was because
God
was a part
of this
country
and most
people anyway
went to
and believed
perfect
but it
was a part
but it
was because
God
was a part
of this
country
it wasn't
went to
church
and believed
but it
was because
God
was a part
of this
but it
was because
was a part
it wasn't
perfect
but it
was because
God
was a part
of this
it was
If you don't even hope it'll happen, don't even count on it happening.
And once you have hope, you have the blueprint for your faith to attach itself to.
But prosperity's not just money.
As far as I'm concerned, if you've got money but not good health, you don't have anything.
If you've got money and all your kids are on the way to health, you don't have that much.
Prosperity is all those things that we need for a successful, peaceful life.
So from God's perspective, we are already blessed with this blessing.
The problem is we've seen ourselves, like the ten spies, as grasshoppers instead of as blessed.
Ms. Janelle was in California with us, and I'm glad she was able to come.
And I would encourage anybody to make at least one trip once in a while to some conferences there.
But Dr. Bill Whitson came, and he preached Wednesday night.
And he told a story, and I thought, this is so good as far as an illustration.
Because he didn't say a lot about it. He didn't expound a lot on it.
He just left it to your imagination to figure it out.
But he told the story of an eagle that laid an egg in a nest.
And then while the eagle was away, a big storm came blowing through, and it knocked the egg out of the nest,
and it pulled down the mountain, and it landed in a chicken yard.
And so a chicken comes along and sees the egg and says, well, I think I'll sit on this egg.
And so three days later, the egg hatches, and out comes an eagle.
But the eagle is born in a chicken yard, surrounded by chickens, right?
Now, this is a perfect illustration of the body of Christ.
We are born. We're in the world, but we're not of it.
We're born again. We're born into the world, but we're born again in Christ.
But we live amongst chickens.
See how chickens behave? They behave far differently than eagles.
Eagles soar above problems.
When you see an eagle, they're not all freddy.
Chickens move like they're freddy all the time.
And of course, what do we call people that are freddy?
Chickens.
So I just thought it was a wonderful illustration.
He didn't say a whole lot about it, just the fact that we're eagles, but we're surrounded by chickens.
How does that affect your mentality?
How does that affect the way you think about yourself?
He said the church has an identity crisis.
Because they don't really know who they are, and what they can have, and what they can do.
And as I started thinking about some of what he was preaching, and some of what Pastor Nancy was preaching,
and I got excited about the fact that I am blessed.
And I'm tired of thinking like a chicken.
A stinking chicken.
Thinking that I can't have this, and I can't do that.
There's the progress, and this didn't change.
Here's what happens in this world system.
The pressure is getting greater, not less.
The pressure is greater because all of these demons have been unleashed in the last days.
The pressure is there to keep you small, to keep you ineffective, to keep you thinking in a box.
And not, what did Brandon Rear say to us?
We're breaking out of the circle.
The reason we've been in a circle is because we've been thinking like a chicken, instead of like an eagle.
But you can't break out of that circle without doing something about it.
First of all, if you're an eagle, and you're in a chicken coop, you better fly the coop.
Get out.
Change the way you think about yourself.
We have an inheritance in Christ.
But so often we don't tap into that inheritance.
We're blessed with the blessing.
Not just any old blessing.
When Esau said, don't you have another blessing for me, my father?
He said, no.
There's one blessing, and it comes from God.
And it came through the line of Abraham, through Jesus.
And then through Christ, it comes into us who believe.
The blessing, the same blessing that was pronounced on Abraham.
The same blessing that Isaac received.
The same blessing that Jacob gave back with all those flocks and children and wives.
And Esau couldn't kill him.
And the same blessing that preserved Joseph through 12 years of hell.
That he kept a good attitude and ended up second in command in Egypt.
How did it happen? The blessing.
But they had to cooperate.
They had to cooperate.
And we have to cooperate, too.
From God's perspective, we're already blessed.
From God's perspective, we're the eagle.
But for most of the church's perspective, we're the chickens.
It's time to break out of that thing, you guys.
Our blessing was bought and paid for by the precious blood of Jesus.
And if we weren't going to walk in it and live in it, why did he even bother to do it, right?
But it's there for the taking.
We have put up with far more than we should have for far too long.
Let's go to Ephesians chapter 1.
Ephesians chapter 1.
In Ephesians chapter 1, verse 3, it says,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us
with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
I think it's the Norley translation that says,
blessed with everything that heaven itself enjoys.
And if we're really blessed with everything that heaven itself enjoys,
we're not talking about...
I know there's some teaching that I don't fully agree with,
like a preacher said recently, this whole Bible is about land.
Well, yeah, land is involved, but really the word of God is not just about land,
because we're in a spiritual kingdom.
But the things of heaven, there's a flow like Pastor Nancy teaches.
There's a flow of heaven.
It's not that heaven is coming down to earth in its physical form,
but there's a flow.
The flow of peace, the flow of joy, the flow of health.
Nobody's sick in heaven.
The flow of provision.
There's no need or lack in heaven.
This is a flow that we have access to every day of our lives
because we've got the Holy Spirit inside of us.
And we have His Word that we can navigate through things.
So we want this blessing.
Everything that heaven itself enjoys can't be ours.
And like Pastor Nancy said, we're going to get there one day
and we're going to see all that we couldn't have.
And we're going to have a little bit of lamenting going on
because we let it get by us.
Because we were too busy watching TV, playing video games,
or the flesh doesn't always want to cooperate with the Spirit.
We all know this.
We don't pay the price as far as, like Jesus did, shedding His blood for us to have the blessing.
But the price we pay is the sacrifice of the flesh.
Because unless we're sacrificing our flesh, we're going to miss out on hearing accurately.
Because, you know, the Spirit is a small, still voice.
Still, small voice.
And you're not going to just hear a loud shout and thunder from God.
It's going to take time to get quiet and quiet in your mind and your flesh to hear clearly.
So how do we appropriate the blessing that's already ours?
I just wrote a few things down.
Number one, we must have a lifestyle of fellowship with the Father.
And kind of bringing this back full circle to what Brother Randall Greer had taught.
If you're not going to spend time fellowshiping in prayer,
you're going to miss out on hearing the direction and the meaning of clarity we need to be walking in the blessing.
It's conditional. It's conditional to hearing from Him.
And just as I taught a few weeks back on the source of faith,
we can believe all things are possible to them that believe, but you can't believe beyond what you've heard.
And you're not going to hear if you haven't spent any time with Him.
And He may just speak a scripture to you, but if He speaks it to you,
and you may have known it and read it a hundred times, but when He speaks it to you,
it's rainbow, and now faith is there for you.
And that comes from fellowship.
And then number two, imitate God.
Imitate God.
In Ephesians 5, verse 1, the Amplified says,
Therefore the imitators of God copy Him and follow His example,
as well beloved children imitate their father.
Well, that's exactly what Abraham was doing, right?
And when we read in Romans 4, 17, it says,
God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did,
we know that Abraham copied that.
First of all, his name was changed, so we know that every time he spoke his name,
he was calling things that did not.
But then even after Isaac came, we saw two examples where he called those things that did not as though they were.
And so, being an imitator of God means we say what God says about our situations.
Whether it looks like it's working or not.
Whether it looks like we have it or not.
We have to stay in agreement with God.
And, you know, Jesus was our example in prayer and consecration.
We're to imitate Him.
Become a person of continual prayer, like He was.
If He needed to pray, we need to pray.
Become a person who walks in love.
That's imitating God.
Become a person who's full of the Word.
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, in all wisdom.
You know, if you have wisdom, you'll get riches.
That's Abraham of Solomon.
He didn't ask for riches and wealth.
When the Lord appeared to him and said,
You ask whatever you want.
He asked for wisdom.
That was spot on.
You could ask for money, but if you don't have wisdom, you'll spend it all in a week on a prodigal.
And then you buy money.
But if you've got wisdom, you'll continue to perpetuate and grow and increase.
So, we need to have the wisdom of God.
And that comes from the time of the Word and time in His presence.
Now, there's one other scripture I want you to look at,
because I hope this is really good,
that Dr. Bill Winston brought out in Psalm 82.
And even if you've heard the messages and were able to listen to them,
Psalm 82, verse 5, it says,
They do not know, nor do they understand.
Now, this is talking about the poor and the needy.
They do not know, nor do they understand.
They walk about in darkness, and they do.
And all the foundations of the earth are unstable, and they are,
because they don't have the light.
But verse 6 says,
I said, You are gods, and all of you are children of the most high.
You are gods.
Now, of course, Brother Copeland tried to say this a long, decades ago,
and got so much blackboard from religious people.
But if you go to John chapter 10,
Jesus referenced this verse in John 10,
and verse 33, and he said,
They were getting ready to stomp him,
and they accused him of blasphemy,
because he said he was basically new God, he was of God.
And he said, Well, did not your own prophets say,
We are gods?
So, he validated the scripture.
I said, You are gods, and all of you are children of the most high.
Say, That's me.
That's me.
But you shall die like men,
and fall like one of the princes.
So, what Bill Winston said, and I thought it was so good,
he said it this way, he said,
If you don't act like God, you'll die like a man.
And how true that is.
What do you mean, don't act like God?
The things that we just talked about,
talking like God,
worshiping God,
walking in love,
obeying His commands,
having His word in you.
We don't want to die like everybody else in the earth.
And we're not just talking about death, death.
We're talking about spiritual death,
the way spiritually dead people live.
You're going to live like a spiritually dead person,
if you don't recognize, I'm like God.
I mean, that's one of the most beautiful, wonderful things that happened
when Jesus came and recreated our spirit,
is He gave us the ability to live like God.
Think about it.
Why else would the Bible tell us, imitate God?
If you couldn't live like God.
And I'm not talking about living on His throne in heaven,
but I'm just saying living the victorious life.
Because God lives in victory.
So we don't have to live like the world lives.
We don't have to settle for what the world settles for,
because we're blessed with the blessing.
We're not going to be blessed.
We have been blessed.
We have it right now. Stand up.
We've overcome the world.
So I recently, when my daughter's dog,
they were told me to die,
and I just kept saying,
well, you have blessing on your life.
Your dog's not going to die.
You know, technically,
we have authority over a lot of things.
Now it's not, like I said to Elizabeth on the way here,
it's not even worth going there mentally,
trying to dissect why this happened.
Things happen in life.
But the point I'm trying to make is,
we have the blessing on our lives,
and people that have the blessing live differently than we do.
And so when trials rise up,
and try to dictate to you that you're going to be just like everybody else,
or you're going to fail just like everybody else would in this situation,
or this diagnosis is going to get you like it would anybody else,
or this financial problem is going to hurt you like it would anybody else,
we have to stand up and say,
no, I'm blessed. I have a blessing on my life.
The devil can't kill me before the time.
I have a blessing on my life.
I refuse to have sickness or disease in my life.
I have a blessing on my life. I refuse to have lack.
If I need something, I claim it,
and angels go and get it for me,
because I have the blessing.
You know, the blessing was so strong,
when it was time to get a wife for Isaac,
Abraham sent his servant
to his homeland that he came out of,
and he said, the angel, my angel,
who has guided me all these years,
will go ahead of you and prepare the way for you.
Angels will work for us because of the blessing on our lives.
Whatever you have need of.
So we just need to think differently this year,
because we're breaking out of the circle. Amen?
Say, I'm blessed.
With every spiritual blessing
in heavenly places.
And I'm allowing it
to manifest in the earth
through me
and those around me.
Because you know, we are the only Jesus
they're ever going to see.
So we have to live in the blessing. Amen?
Hallelujah.
Father, we thank you tonight in your word,
and I thank you, Father God, that this revelation
is becoming clearer
and becoming a greater part of our lives
over the next 12 months.
As we walk in the signs,
the wonders, the miracles
that you prepared before the foundation of the world
for us to walk in.
Lord, the signs are
to get the attention of the world.
And we intend to do that this next year.
We thank you, Father God,
for the great increase
because you said you would increase
and multiply and bless.
It's part of the blessing.
Multiplication.
We receive multiplication in every arena.
We will not settle for less
than your highest investment
because you said I'm going to make you the head and not the tail.
So we declare tonight
that we're the head.
Amen.
Bless coming in and bless going out.
No matter what the devil says
and no matter what kind of oppressive spirit
comes to alive to us,
we've been given all authority
over those demonic forces
and we'll not play dead when they show up
and we'll not crawl into bed under the covers
and we'll not allow ourselves to become oppressed
and depressed, but we'll speak to it
and we'll deal with it
and command it to go in the name of Jesus.
And it must obey.
The devil has to flee
as we resist him.
We thank you, Father, for this great
privilege that you've given us
to live differently than the rest of the world.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
may everyone say,
Amen. Praise God.
I'm going to dismiss you,
but is there anyone that needs healing
or prayer for healing?
No, no.
Glory to God.
Oh, well,
the knee is full of the blessing.
In the name of Jesus,
I thank you for the anointing of God
going into this knee, Father,
and the blessing of God
makes it completely full.
I command inflammation,
swelling, pain,
go in the name of Jesus.
You don't belong to a blessed child of God.
You have to go.
We thank you, Father, for total restoration
into Jesus' name.
In the name of Jesus,
I thank you because of the blessing
of your life,
and the anointing is the blessing
of God,
that the power of God is going to
completely destroy
every trace of this.
It cannot stay.
We command it to go in Jesus' name.
You cannot attach yourself
to a blessed child of God.
We thank you, Father,
for victory
in Jesus' name.
Glory to God.
Woo-hoo!
An opportunity to learn
that God's Word works.
This is a blessed man.
He's blessed,
and so we're not receiving
fractured feet.
In the name of Jesus,
I release the power of God into this foot,
and I thank you, Lord,
because of the blessing
it must mend.
Oh, hallelujah.
I command this foot to be supernaturally
mended
and made whole.
Lord, we thank you for the blessing of God
upon this life. It makes it whole,
whole, whole, whole,
in Jesus' name. It's part of His inheritance
that we receive it tonight.
In the name of Jesus.
Because He's not ready
to stop doing nothing around until He's 100.
Amen.
Okay.
Father, in the name of Jesus,
I release the power
of God into the blessing of this life.
It's a blessed man.
The power of God is working in this
bone because of the blessing, and I curse
every disorder and humanity.
Go! In the name
of Jesus. You cannot stay.
We thank you, Father,
Great position that we already have.
Hallelujah.
