There's our first look. They're going to go at Evandro right out of the gates. Big swing from Evandro Goncalves. And that's going to be an interesting matchup item to watch. Wow, what a serve. Excellent work from Tay just to keep it alive. And there's Evandro getting his first block of the match. Reaching big into the angle on Taylor Crabb. So it starts off. If you watched him at AVP Huntington Beach split blocking with Billy Allen, you'll know that's not the case. He is a tricky, disciplined blocker up there. And speaking of, he gets a touch and makes a nice play. And that is something you won't see too often. Oh, would you look at that? Another Trevor Crabb line. Perfect touch down the line from Arthur Lancey. Love that little look at the bottom from Arthur. And that float serve finds its way to the bottom. Big dropper there from Trev. The sun is burning through the marine layer early today. Should be a beautiful morning, beautiful day in Newport Beach. Oh, would you look at that? It's another Trevor Crabb line. So we've seen three Trevor Crabb attacks, three Trevor Crabb line kills. Big serve from Evandro. Nice chase down from Taylor. But again, it's an opportunity for Brazil. And they capitalize on this one. And they can. Arthur with a fast line, beating Tay before he can get there. Still in the scene there from Taylor. Oh, nice pick up from Arthur. And now it's Tay making this fast line, slimy line under the block of Evandro. And Arthur pulls it to Trev. Trev now his first angle attack. Arthur's there. And Arthur with a big ripping transition to tie it up at nine apiece. And again, Trevor goes angle. Again, Arthur's there. Excellent touch. Good opportunity for the United States to stay the side out. And they take it. And so that's a good break there for the United States and one that they capitalize on. Arthur with that stacked approach again. This time he goes back to the line. Again, he gets an untouched kill. Right there from Trevor. Back to the line he goes. And he has been perfect on his line attacks. Nice touch there from Taylor Crabb. And Evandro, he was expecting Arthur to be there. And Evandro gets his second block of the day. Again, that big reach with that left hand into the angle. Arthur chased it down. It hits the sand just before he can get there. These last couple years is beneficial to them because the scouting report's gone. Nobody really knows how to play them right now. And Arthur gets another kill down the line. He has been just about perfect. Alternates and goes short. He does. And Taylor, nice scoop into the angle. What a set from Trevor Crabb. Evandro's got to go. Open net for Evandro. Watch out below. Typically, it is his serving that makes all the difference. And right now, it's his block. Again, going at Arthur's line. And Arthur too much heat. Taylor's right there in a good position again. Chance to go up three. And it's taken. Arthur is bombing away in this second set. And there's another block for Trevor Crabb. Again, stealing that low line of Arthur. Switch their focus to Trevor Crabb in this second set. And here's an opportunity for Arthur. Again, the angle swing goes down for a kill. Nice timing on that move down the line. Gets his kill. Now, let's switch to Evandro. Set is high. A little bit off the net. Trevor's there. And this one's covered as well. And again, the cover to the kill from the Crabb brothers. Crabbs scrapping, grinding. Another pick up. And Evandro's late. And you leave Trevor a little crack of line. He's got to capitalize. And now, Evandro taking a little page out of Trevor Crabb's book. Going with a high deep line swing. And Trevor, nice feed to ball. Getting that one high and deep over Evandro. And there's another deep middle serve from Evandro. That middle middle has been a devil. Pushing Arthur deep now. Long approach coming in. And that is just a magnificent swing from Arthur Lancey. That is the level that you have to play to sustain your side out. Titanic. Titanic on two from Evandro. And Trevor slimes again down the line. Feels just that little sliver of space. Chunky set there from Evandro. Might get a couple looks.
