This vlog is a gentle invitation to slow down and savour autumn’s quiet rhythm — the sound of hooves on fallen leaves, steam rising from a warm cup of tea, and the comfort of a simple homemade meal.
I'm hushin' in a tank. I'm lining up stones on the edge of the bank. Rally the troops for another round.
I sing this softly to myself. I sing this softly to myself.
Welcome to Blissful Country Life. Today's vlog is a slow autumn day.
Gentle forest walks, peaceful moments with the new forest forces and cosy cooking to end the day.
There's no way to speak or reach out my hand. Watching the paper slowly unfold.
Bracing for news that I can't bear to hold. While I'm singing this song to myself.
I sing this softly to myself. My jeans on the fence. This iron rope I cannot bend.
But my walkin' is lighter when I walk with a friend.
I sing this softly to myself. I sing this softly to myself.
The forest was turning golden with leaves drifting softly in the breeze.
Horses wandered freely between the trees. Calm, timeless and so beautiful against the autumn light.
It's one of those scenes that reminds you to breathe a little slower.
One of my favourite rituals is making tea. So I made a warm cup of tea.
Simple and soothing, the steam rising from the kettle.
It was the perfect pause for a quiet countryside afternoon.
In the nearby town, the horses walked freely along the roads.
Moving with such ease that even the traffic seemed to flow around them.
It's such a lovely reminder of how nature and everyday life co-exist.
So gently here in the new forest.
In the kitchen, I made my usual pasta. The same simple, comforting recipe I've shared here before.
Quick to make, full of flavour and always the perfect meal for a slow autumn evening.
