A huge scam network in Asia was recently taken down. It had been stealing billions from American victims, while also using slave labor, extortion, and beatings as a form of control.

Welcome to Crossroads, a huge Chinese
scam network. These kinds have been
calling on your phone constantly. Well,
turns out this group was stealing
billions from Americans. It was just
taken down. Now, I'll be going into how
they were using slave labor, extortion,
beatings. There's even cases of like
crazy I mean organ trafficking not with
this one but other ones. We'll be going
into all of it. And also speaking of
Chinese scammers and the Chinese
Communist Party, turns out that hundreds
of American universities have actually
been working with the Chinese Communist
Party, including the CCB's military. Uh
your local university may be cooperating
with the Chinese Communist Party's
military. And look, on another topic,
conservatives who support Trump, they
were being spied on. So, if you or
someone you know uh was a Trump
supporter as of 2020, there's a good
chance you may have been spied on. A new
report shows that Congress collected 30
million lines of phone data on MAGA
supporters, and this was linked to their
investigations into January 6. Now, I'll
be going to these topics a lot more
today, so make sure to hit the like
button, leave a comment, and subscribe
to our channel. Now like first off a
huge Chinese spy network has just been
taken down. Uh this was transnational
all over the world including right here
in the US. They were operating out of
Cambodia but that was just the
headquarters. Now this had been stealing
billions of dollars of American victims
while also using slaves, extortion,
human trafficking and beatings uh not to
the point of death but almost as a form
of control. Treasury Department says
this. It says today the US Department of
Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets
Control and Financial Crimes Enforcement
Network in close coordination with the
United Kingdom's Foreign Commonwealth,
the UK and Development Office took
complimentary actions, meaning they
worked together against criminal
networks responsible for targeting
citizens of the United States and other
allied nations through online scams and
the laundering of stolen funds. Uh,
anybody who's been getting these
constant phone calls, scam calls from
all corners of the world, you might have
been targeted by these people. It notes
that US losses to online investment
scams have steadily increased over the
last several years, totaling over $16.6
billion.
A US government estimate indicated that
Americans lost at least $10 billion to
Southeast Asia-based scam operations in
2024. A 66% increase over the prior
year, meaning it's increased quite a bit
with scams like those perpetrated by
Prince Group TCO being particularly
significant. And this is the group they
just took down. It says, "Prince group
TCO profits from a litany of
transnational crimes, including
sextortion,
a type of fraud involving the
solicitation for eventual blackmail of
sexually explicit material, often from
minors. So they get your kid on social
media, they call their phone, they text
them, they find a way to get to your
children. They then pretend to like, you
know, date your kids and, you know, do
these tactics they use grooming them.
kid will send photos they shouldn't be
sending. They then use those photos as
blackmail. They blackmail children using
these allegedly. Right. Also include
this says money laundering, various
frauds and rackets, corruption, illegal
online gambling and the industrial scale
trafficking, torture and extortion of
enslaved workers and furtherance of the
operation of at least at least 10 scam
compounds in Cambodia. Now, important to
note, most of the operatives with this,
most people running it, they're Chinese,
right? CCP title. I'll get into it. uh
even some evidence of ties to the United
Front, meaning kind of like the Chinese
Communist Party being involved. Uh but
they were doing this out of Cambodia.
Important to note, Cambodia and Laos are
so deeply infiltrated by the Chinese
Communist Party that when the CCP wants
to arrest people like luring people who
are critics of the CCP, they try to get
them to go to Cambodia or allows to
arrest them. So deeply tied in with it.
It notes that in these compounds,
workers are often lured by the promise
of well-paid jobs in customer service,
tech support, and related fields, but
are instead held against their will and
made to scam people from around the
world in so-called pig butchering and
other fraud schemes. And what does that
mean? What do they mean by pig
butchering? It means you got to make the
pig fat and then you butcher it for, you
know, what you want out of it. Uh
basically they groom people and then
once they're groomed they start getting
money out of them. That's what they call
this. It says these schemes involve
cultivating meaning you're growing it.
Sometimes over the course of months
elaborate relationships with victims
gaining their trust and confidence then
inducing them to invest funds in
fraudulent investment platforms
ultimately controlled by Sky. So you're
having an online relationship. Maybe
someone texts you out of nowhere. an old
friend, maybe an influencer. They
actually make fake versions of
influencer accounts. Uh they've even
done spoofs of my accounts. I've seen,
not this group, but other ones. Uh it's
very common. They get these fake
influencer accounts. They reach out to
people. Oh, I must have contacted you by
accident. Uh but you know, my name is so
and so, we should be friends. Very
common. They groom you into a fake
relationship. And then once you're, you
know, talking to them often and you're
enjoying their conversations, they then
say, "Hey, I have a great offer. You're
not going to believe this. You should
invest some money in this company. I
know it's going to take off." And they
get people pouring their money into it.
And they steal it. It says, "The
butchering comes when the scammers go
dark after taking every dollar they can
from their victims. Some people clean
out their entire investments uh giving
it to these groups." It says the
takedown of this network also involved a
larger network tied to Jinbe Group which
is a luxury hotel and casino company
Chinese but it al is also tied to again
Chinese money uh money laundering in New
York even uh again these are Chinese
operations basically operating outside
of China for the most part. Now, the
House Select Committee on the CCP also
said in a post on X that quote
yesterday's US Treasury action targets a
massive cyber fraud network laundering
billions. It says the CCP's Chinese
Communist Party's opaque financial
system enables schemes like this to
thrive. It says the Select Committee on
China urges the US Treasury and our
allies to keep following the money into
CCP linked enablers and shell firms.
Now, I'd add to that, you know, the
Chinese Communist Party's banking
system, the financial system, it is
opaque, but only for people outside of
China. Uh, if you're in the United
States, you can't really audit it. You
can't really investigate it. If you're
in the UK, you can't really audit it.
You can't really investigate it. the CCP
will not cooperate. But inside China,
everything is controlled. They have
digital currency. They have other things
like this. Not a single payment happens
without the Chinese Communist Party
taking notice. In other words, the CCP
lets this happen. The Chinese Communist
Party allows this to happen. And
something interesting here. Apparently,
this case just uncovered ties in with
the Chinese Communist Party's United
Front. That's right. That big old CCP
global spy network. The bureau says
this. It says the latest US Treasury
sanctions explicitly connect Chenzi to
Juan Quo Koi, the notorious Macau triad
boss, triads of the Chinese mafia known
as Broken Tooth. And notice that Juan
heads the modern Hong men association
which US officials describe as directly
linked to the Chinese Communist Party
and the United Front Work Department. Uh
again, the United Front has been a focus
of my own investigations going back to
2008. Uh massive Chinese spy network
operating heavily in the United States,
operating all around the world. uh
extorting people, blackmailing people,
human trafficking, drug trafficking,
compromising government officials,
compromising business leaders, and
relatively allowed to open free operate
freely. They basically nothing ever
happens against them. They operate in
the open in the United States. It says
the sanctions also state that Prince
Group worked with Rose Wong, a Palubu
based organized crime facilitator who is
the vice president of Palou's overseas
Chinese federation which may conduct
unofficial diplomacy for China. Um
oftent times these overseas Chinese
federation overseas friendship
associations China America friendship
association all these things uh those
are oftent time what you call tongs to o
ngs and the Chinese communist party
targets these organizations to basically
work as the arms of the regime in other
countries which is how these things
operate. Uh and typically the Chinese
mafia will operate beneath them. uh they
they basically work out of the
facilities of these tongs which is how
Chinese organized crime functions. It
says here though in 2018 she introduced
Juan Quo Koy to Palu's then president
while Juan was seeking casino licenses.
Look at these inter intertwining
connections, right? And it says that
OFAC had already sanctioned Broken
Tooth, the mob boss, the Chinese mob
boss, in 2020 under executive order
13818 for spreading crime and corruption
across Southeast Asia in Palu by
designated Rose Wong in connection with
Prince Group's Palu schemes. The US
government effectively linked Chenzee to
Chinese state aligned and United Front
operations of which both Wong and Broken
Broken Tooth are established associates.
Uh meaning you have to tie a couple
different things together. A lot of
people are not making this connection
but that is a very big deal. Uh this
network through association does tie
into the Chinese Communist Party. Uh the
United Front and Work Department is an
office of the Chinese government. Now
look, these are horrifying stories. Uh
some of the operations have just
terrible things. People are being sold
into slavery. People are being
kidnapped. Uh there was a recent story
actually where a woman actually sold her
boyfriend into slavery to one of these
gangs uh for not that much money. There
was a horrifying story of a girl
traveling from another country. A singer
traveled to one of these countries. They
traffked her, they sex traffked her,
they enslaved her, and they eventually
murdered her and harvested her organs.
Uh, that was actually in uh Myanmar.
They had issues like this. And so these
gangs, they're not just robbing people.
It's everything. Human trafficking, sex
trafficking, drug trafficking, human
organ trafficking, meaning they murder
people for their organs. Uh because
again, if it's tied in with the CCP,
that's what the CCP also does. And look,
it's not even just the pig butchering
networks, as they call them. It's also
just smaller scams being done through
like massive phone farms and other
tools. Remember in New York and New
Jersey, they just shut down a couple of
these major facilities. You're talking
like hundreds of fake phones, making
calls, calling in SWAT teams on
government officials, basically causing
chaos in the United States, and you
know, finally shut down after who knows
long, who knows how long. But among the
more common scams involved, scammers try
to say victims owe money on things like
highway tolls. And part of that network
is also recently exposed. Maybe some of
you experienced this. How many of you
have gotten these emails or text
messages, you know, according to your
local highway toll company, you owe $57.
Uh many people get these. I've I've
received emails like this. They're
extremely common right now. Uh, and if
you've received them, well, know that
oftentimes it's a scam. But here's how
it works. Wall Street Journal just said
this. The US is a wash with scam text
messages. Officials say it has become a
billiondoll, highly sophisticated
business benefiting criminals in China.
Why is the CCP always behind it? It
says, "Your highway toll payment is now
passed due." One text warns you have US
postal services fees to pay. Uh-oh.
Another threatens. You owe the New York
City Department of Finance for unpaid
traffic violations. It says the text
employees to get unsuspecting victims to
fork over their credit card details. And
the gang behind the scams take advantage
of this information to buy iPhones, gift
cards, clothing, and cosmetics. It says
criminal organizations operating out of
China. again, which investigators blame
for the toll and posted messages have
used them to make more than $1 billion
over the last 3 years, according to the
Department of Homeland Security.
Why is it why is it always China? Of
course, you know, some of these operate
out of other countries. India has a huge
problem with these scammers. Mexico has
a huge problem with these scammers, but
some of the biggest networks being
exposed right now, Chinese networks. And
again, uh, these these are real dirty
ones tied in with just about every crime
under the books. Now, look, speaking of
Chinese Communist Party scammers trying
to take advantage of Americans getting
into our institutions, well, it turns
out hundreds of American universities
are actually working with the Chinese
Communist Party. Go and figure.
Including with the CCP's military,
American universities are working with
the Chinese Communist Party military.
Let that sink in. Fox News said this.
For many years, American and Chinese
scholars worked shouldertosh shoulder on
cutting edge technologies through open
research funded by you oftentimes I made
up your tax dollars says where findings
are freely shared and accessible to all.
But that openness a longstanding
practice celebrated for advancing
knowledge is raising alarms among some
US lawmakers. Further in it says the
house committee released three reports
in September alone. They target they
targeted respectively Pentagonf funded
research involving military linked
Chinese scholars. Meaning Pentagon
funded who pays for the Pentagon? Your
tax dollars. They're stealing military
research you are paying for and bringing
it back to China. This also includes it
says joint US China institutes that
train STEM talent for China. I think
they call this uh building the noose to
hang yourself and it says and also visa
policies that have brought military
linked Chinese students to PhD programs
at American universities
paid for often times their tax dollars
as we fund all these universities
through the federal government. Now, it
says this. The reports recommend more
legislation to protect US research,
tighter tighter visa policies to vet
Chinese students and scholars, and an
end to academic partnerships that could
be exploited to boost this whole thing,
right? To boost China's military powers.
It says more than 500 US universities
and institutes have collaborated with
Chinese military researchers in recent
years.
500 universities helping Beijing develop
advanced technologies with military
applications such as anti-jamming
communications and hypersonic vehicles
according to a report by private US
intelligence group Strider Technologies.
So if you're wondering well gez where
did China build all this technology? How
did they get these advanced weapons?
Where did those wonderful, incredible
weapons come from? Why don't we have
them? The simple answer is you helped
them build it. You paid for it. The
government gave them the money. It went
to the universities. And the
universities, well, they handed it off
to China by bringing in all these
Chinese researchers and working with the
Chinese military. Now, on another topic,
a new trade war is starting up with
China. Trump is uh calling them out and
we're now looking at an additional 100%
tariff on Chinese goods soon. Uh that
brings it to about 130% tariffs. That's
a lot of tariffs. And this is in
response to hostile trade actions the
Chinese Communist Party just announced.
Uh the CCP is saying they're going to
shut down basically a lot of foreign
trade. They're, you know, putting
additional costs on it. They're going to
shut down the availability of some rare
earth minerals to the United States and
they're going very aggressive on it.
Trump says he's not going to have it.
And now what's happening? Well,
countries are having to decide. Are they
with America or are they with the
Chinese Communist Party? Are they US
aligned or are they CCP aligned? And
it's becoming now they can choose one,
but they can't choose both. And many are
choosing to follow the United States in
this new trade war. In a recent speech,
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant
described this growing battle as quote,
"China versus the world." Watch this. As
the president has said, we want to help
China, not hurt it.
If some in the Chinese government want
to slow down the global economy through
disappointing actions and through
economic coercion, the Chinese economy
will be hurt the most. And make no
mistake, this is China versus the world.
They have put these unacceptable export
controls on the entire world. China is a
command and control economy and we and
our allies will neither be commanded nor
controlled.
>> Uh China versus the world. Uh I would
actually say it's been like this for a
long time. For many years now, the the
world has been having to choose between
do you want to align with the Chinese
Communist Party or the USA. Uh the issue
for a long time though is that you've
been allowed to take advantage of
America while making deals with the CCP
that were not really, you know, that
great, but people wanted access to the
Chinese market. Uh for decades now, many
countries have allowed the United States
to fund their military, to bankroll
their social, you know, free health care
programs, to pay for their food. We let
them tariff us. We let them we let them
put additional costs on Americans. And
Americans have basically been
shouldering the cost of just about the
entire world uh through bad trade deals,
trading at a loss, subsidizing them,
giving them grants, all kinds of money
for who knows why. But a lot of that's
now coming to an end. Uh the Chinese
Communist Party on the other hand has
had a very different offer. It says look
take advantage of America and come and
build your factories in China. Uh the
CCP has of course become the main focus
of a lot of investment, foreign
business, manufacturing, minerals,
materials, and has effectively dominated
a lot of markets. They let them do it.
And America has been footing the bill on
just about all the fat, all the slack
these countries have. Uh what is now
happening is both sides of this are
ending. The United States is no longer
picking up the slack for Europe's
defense budget. The United States is no
longer picking up the slack uh for
Canada's health care system. Again,
they're having to pay their fair share
on medicines. The United States is no
longer allowing countries to make bad
trade deals. I mean, at least for now.
We'll see if it changes next leader
coming in. Uh but now, as things stand,
if a country is putting additional costs
on Americans, we're matching them with
tariffs. And if we're trading at a
hundred billion loss, we're going to get
a hundred billion worth of tariffs. At
least that's the way it's set up. And
we'll see if it lasts. But the Chinese
Communist Party in its side, it's
becoming less uh less appealing. Let's
say the CCP is becoming more
authoritarian internally. The Chinese
Communist Party is putting restrictions
on exports of minerals. It's weaponizing
them. It's saying that if you don't
agree with our military policies, we
were we're going to cut off your
supplies to magnets or other things you
need to basic keep your economy rolling.
And as this happens, a lot of countries
are saying, you know what, I can build
the same thing cheaper somewhere else. I
can invest in a new growing market that
has more potential for growth. I can put
my money somewhere where I don't have
the CCP breathing down my neck and my,
you know, executives are not being
threatened with arrest every single day
they're there. I can put my
manufacturing somewhere that's not going
to risk port shutdowns or other things
because the CCB just decides to one day
and they're moving their businesses out
elsewhere. As this happens, they're
finding the CCP actually does not really
have much power diplomatically. All the
power was tied in with these kinds of
deals. The deals go away, the power goes
away. And as this happens, the United
States is becoming the main focus for
the kind of new emerging technologies,
new emerging markets, new emerging
manufacturing, and we have a whole lot
of a whole lot of muscle to to move on
this. All right, that said, folks, a lot
else is going on. Los Angeles is now
declaring a state of emergency, and
they're doing this to help pay for the
rent of illegal aliens. Be talking more
about this after we come back from a
quick break. All right, just to pause
here for a super quick moment. You are
of course watching Crossroads with
Joshua Phillip. I'm just here to share a
message about American Hartford Gold, my
own personal gold and silver bullion
dealer. Now, obviously, the recent
tariffs have made the markets super
turbulent and volatile. With every new
piece of tariff news, the markets seem
to either crash up or crash down. And of
course, it's worth mentioning that these
conditions don't only affect Wall
Streets. They affect all of us through
our investments and our retirement
accounts. That's why I'd like to
introduce you to a company that I trust
and I myself use to secure my own
savings. American Hartford Gold. They
specialize in helping Americans move our
assets into something tangible, into
something you can actually hold, which
is physical gold and physical silver.

or text Joshua to 65532. All their
information will also be down in the
description box below. And now back to
Crossroads.
>> Welcome back. Now, how many of you woke
up this morning and said, "Gee, I wish
my tax dollars could help support all
these poor illegal immigrants. I wish I
could pay their rent. I know they can't
afford to pay for their homes. If only
my tax dollars could be used to pay for
their home so they can continue staying
here." Well, good news for you. Los
Angeles has declared a state of
emergency over the ICE raids and
deportations of illegal aliens. And now
LA County has announced plans to use
taxpayer dollars to give aid to all the
affected people, including paying for
their lawyers, paying for their cost of
living, and paying their rent. So, good
news for you. ABC News says this. Los
Angeles County officials voted on
Tuesday to declare a state of emergency
over ongoing federal immigration raids.
The proclamation gives the county the
power to assist residents they say have
been impacted financially by immigration
and customs enforcement action ICE. It
says further in Los Angeles County is
home to over 3 million immigrants.
Are those immigrants or illegal aliens?
You have to guess. It says according to
supervisors who said the ICE raids have
caused widespread fear. Why would
immigrants be afraid of ICE? Good
question. and led to decreased
attendance at workplaces, disruption of
local economies, and strain on critical
services such as schools, hospitals, and
places of worship. And it says this,
rent relief for tenants who have fallen
behind as a result of the ICE raids and
money for legal aid and other services
are among the provisions in the
declaration. In other words, paying for
their lawyers, paying the cost of their
homes, you're going to be paying their
rent, and paying for whatever other cost
they decide. It says the vote on Tuesday
allows county supervisors to mobilize
resources, request state and federal
financial assistance to respond to the
impacts of the raids, and ex expedite
contracting to address the crisis. So,
if you're wondering, well, when are they
going to build back, you know, from the
Palisades fire? What about all those
affected Americans? Uh what about
rebuilding Hollywood? Well, good news.
They're not going to do that. At least
not yet. Uh they're going to give the
money to illegal aliens. Now, like
another topic, conservatives who support
Trump were being spied on. A new report
shows that Congress collected 30 million
lines of phone data on MAGA supporters
linked to the investigations into
January 6. And they might have done this
illegally. Just the News says this.
Congressional investigators collected a
stunning 30 million lines of phone data
mapping contracts between conservatives
and the Trump White House in the name of
investigating the January 6 capital
breach. A massive drag net that raised
civil liberty concerns about the lack of
limits on the ability of lawmakers to
snoop on Americans private phone calls.
Uh, we used to have the Constitution
protecting us from illegal searches and
seizures. Was this justified or legal?
Well, we may find out soon. It says the
mountainous collection of phone records
were revealed to the FBI, led by Chris
Ray in late 2023 by former
representative Adam Kinzinger, a GOP
member of the Democrat-run House January
6 select committee. Uh remember the
select committee actually turned down
refused the Republicans who were offered
on the committee to make it bipartisan
and instead selected handpicked
Republicans
uh who had previously voted to impeach
President Donald Trump. Uh, so they
turned down the Republicans who would
have been on the side of the Republicans
and chose two Republicans who actually
had previously sided with Democrats to
be on the committee, which is how they
did it. Uh, and questionably legal.
That's actually being raised right now.
But it notes this. The cache, all these
phone records was offered to the bureau
on the eve of the 2024 presidential
election as evidence without requiring a
warrant. according to an FBI document
memorializing the offer that was
reviewed by just the news. Now, why
would they do that not in 2020, but
instead right before the election? Good
question. Maybe we'll find out. Further
in, it says that Mike Howell, the
president of the Conservative Oversight
Project, told Just the News that quote,
"The January 6th committee was in
absolute violation of civil rights that
far exceeded anything it ever purported
to be investigating and added that they
abused their authority to engage in a
political mapping exercise to surveil
their political opponents." and he added
that quote, "Whoever turned this
information over to the committee is
exposed here and we will be exploring
ways to hold them accountable." What
does that mean? Does it mean calling
them in to testify? Does it mean
criminal charges? Well, we don't know.
It says that Grassly's office said
Tuesday uh that he had sent letters to
four telecom companies, Verizon, AT&T,
T-Mobile, and Lumen, quote, requesting
they provide to Congress all records
that were handed over to former special
counsel Jack Smith as part of his
elector case against President Trump. Uh
Jack Smith is also being called in to
testify as well. They just announced,
but it says this. The Republican
chairman told the telecom providers that
quote, "No court order or provision of
law can prevent you from notifying
senators of any legal process that
sought disclosure of any Senate data
transmitted on Senate or dualuse devices
related to senator's offices. uh
suggesting that if the private
information of senators was included in
this phone data, the companies may have
violated the law. And it actually does
seem to be that that was well that was
the case. Uh because as we're finding
out, it turns out that the
investigations were targeting many
Republican members of Congress. Now,
that could be secret information. That
could be classified information. that
could be sensitive information and if
these phone companies were transferring
that in ways that were not secure or
illegal, they may be held accountable.
And he added there was a quote
reasonable concern that calls, texts,
and emails sent from sent to or from
those devices may have been acts
consistent with the duties of office,
meaning somebody might have violated the
law. It was that Grassly also sent
letters to the Department of Homeland
Security, the Department of Defense, the
Department of War, the Office of the
Director of National Intelligence, the
National Archives and Records
Administration, and the US Attorney's
Office for for the District of Colombia
to ask what information they had
provided to Jack Smith, who is now also
being called in to testify. Now, they're
glad to see where this goes. The Trump
administration has shown signs they may
be investigating the former Gen 6
committee. Uh Trump has called them out
repeatedly. Trump has talked about
repealing Biden's pardons of them
suggesting that if it was signed by the
auto pen and um by the way Trump has
created a presidential wall in the White
House where he has pictures of all the
presidents and for Biden he put a
picture of the auto pen. Uh Trump seems
to believe that the auto pen was doing a
lot of the work uh which was the
automatic machine to sign his name and
there was people operating it. Trump is
using that fact to try to get rid of a
lot of what Biden had done including
many of his pardons. If Trump does that,
it means that many members of that
committee may be up for investigation
and possible prosecution. Uh Trump has
said, as have others, that they actually
deleted evidence illegally. They deny
this. We will find out if they continue
the investigation. Uh Trump is also
looking into Jack Smith, the former
special counsel. He was also looking
into Robert Mohler, the other former
special counsel, but Robert Mhler is
allegedly in a mental state where he's
not really cognizant. Uh and so it's not
clear whether that's true or not, but
they say that he can't really testify at
this point. Uh Trump is investigating
the investigators, so to speak. Is this
retribution or is it merely justice
coming for others who had carried out
retribution? We do not yet know. You
decide. But that said, let's jump into
some questions. So, questions, comments,
anything you want to talk about, leave
it in the chat. Let's jump into it.
Uh, let's see here. First question, what
would Jesus do? WWJD.
You're saying 500 universities working
with CCP Pentagon funded. Good one,
Josh. Talk about building the news that
hangs you, right?
Did you Did you see the recent story
that came out? The Chinese Communist
Party calls Harvard University their
communist party school because so many
Chinese Communist Party officials send
their kids there. It's kind of ironic
actually. A lot of CCP officials, their
kids are not studying at Chinese
universities. Oftentimes, their kids are
studying at American universities.
Now, this is something I'm I am a bit
critical on. You know, Trump was talking
about cutting a lot of this off,
basically saying that these universities
are too deeply intertwined with China,
money from China, you know, ties to
China. And then Trump came out and just
announced that we're going to be
accepting what, like 200,000 Chinese
into American universities. The problem
is, you know, while we take out loans
for our kids, these officials have their
kids come here and they pay in cash. And
a lot of universities, they become
dependent on money from China. Now, in
my personal opinion, if the market
cannot sustain itself without doing
things that are unethical or dangerous
to the United States, let the ones that
should fail fail. Let the market correct
itself and show them where the door is.
I I don't think America should be
allowing this because obviously it is
allowing American funded research
programs to fall in the hands of the
Chinese Communist Party. They're
stealing our research. How is it that
we're paying for weapons research and
we're basically researching it so the
Chinese Communist Party can steal it?
Why are we doing this? How is it that
we're we're doing research that should
be benefiting the future of our country
and we're letting the CCP send spies to
our universities so they can participate
in the studies and then bring it back to
China. Uh that is the very definition of
you know building the news to hang
yourself. It's insane. Another and I
would note too uh the big thing they
need to investigate the Chinese student
and scholar associations.
If anybody watching this show has the
ability to contact your local
legislature, if anybody watching this
show has u maybe is a lawmaker yourself,
the Chinese student and scholar
associations, the CSSAs are the biggest
threat to American universities. Uh
these are organizations openly funded by
the Chinese Communist Party. They are
funded by and operated through the
Chinese consulates. And the Chinese
Communist Party has a branch of its
government that facilitates the
operations. These also tie into the
United Front. Uh it's not just students
and scholars, meaning faculty at the
universities. It's also members of the
Chinese community. That's the United
Front. They're not talking about like
dissident, right? Uh they carry out acts
of suppression of Chinese critics of the
Chinese Communist Party. If a Chinese
student comes to the US and gets
involved in a democracy movement, this
group spies on them and then punishes
them and their family. Uh these are the
organizations that plant students as
researchers. These are organizations
that tie in with compromised people at
universities. Uh not even just Chinese
professors, but even people who are
American professors who are working for
the Chinese Communist Party. And there's
a lot of them taking money, you know,
under the table. Uh having, you know,
speaker fees in China, that kind of
thing. Uh there's a lot of that going
on. A lot of people being paid off by
the CCP at American universities. And
also the worst part of it, the CCP uses
the Chinese student and scholar
associations to groom students to become
spies in the American system. They will
try to grow their careers and plant them
into government agencies. They'll plant
them into local political organizations.
They'll plant them in businesses. They
groom them, plant them, then use them.
The CSSAs, Chinese student and scholar
associations, are one of the greatest
national security threats to the United
States and almost nobody is talking
about them. They need to be exposed. uh
they really really need to be exposed
and they are active at almost every
major American university. Not only are
they are they active at almost every
major American university uh but for the
most part um they also force Chinese
students to enroll. They're
involuntarily enrolled when they come
here. Meaning because of these networks,
every Chinese student visiting the
United States is a national security
threat. If you want to resolve that,
resolve the CSSAs. That's the that's the
easiest way to fix it. Uh my my personal
advice uh to any anyone capable of doing
something on this California gal, you're
saying I don't think Americans helping
the rest of the world has been good for
both of both us and them. I agree with
you. You're saying it has created an
unhealthy dependence and not allowed
other countries to thrive on their own.
Yeah, I I've actually I've actually
talked to some people on this. Um I'll
give you one example of it. So, you
know, the basic point you're making is
that
the American support and over support in
some cases has created a type of
dependency in other countries that has
made them not pick up the slack, that
has made them, I don't know, lazy or
create systems that are not sustainable.
They become dependent on us. Um, I don't
believe that having someone dependent on
you is responsible.
Uh, I'll give you a few examples of
this. As a parent, if a parent wants to
have their kids dependent on them
indefinitely, if you're not teaching
them to be independent, you're not being
responsible to them. A part of what a
parent does when they raise a kid is
they teach them how to take care of
themselves. You're teaching them how to
be adults. You're teaching them how to
function out in the broader world. That
is how you create a responsible member
of society. If you want them to be
dependent on you indefinitely, it means
you want to control them. You don't want
them flying off. You don't want them
being their own people. You don't want
them, you know, leaving because, you
know, you love them so much. I I'm
dealing with the same thing. My
daughter's almost 16 years old, right?
It's I'm not She might leave in two
years. I'm not looking forward to it.
Right? But as a parent, you got to you
got to make it so they can take care of
themselves.
It's the same thing with any any
relationship.
If you have somebody who's dependent on
you, you're creating a person who cannot
live without you. And you know, it's
mixed like you, you know, you can have a
dog that's dependent on you and you want
to train it and you can you can withhold
the dog treats to train it and do what
you want. You can make them do little
back flips or roll over or whatever
else, you know, by withholding treats
and then, you know, giving it to them,
right? They're dependent on you. you
control them, right? You own that doggy.
Uh, and you know, for some
relationships, it works, right? May I'd
say with an animal, you're it's probably
a good relationship. Uh, but with
humans, with countries, with business
deals, you don't really want that. Um,
oftentimes a healthy deal involves both
sides benefit. I have something you
want, you have something I want. Let's
exchange. Uh, any kind of good
relationship works on an exchange,
right?
You fill in the gaps of the other
person. Uh a good military unit works as
an exchange. You know, you're my
spotter, I'm your sniper, that kind of
thing, right? Uh you know, husband and
wife is an exchange. You have skill sets
that the other lacks. You have strengths
the other lacks. And you know, you you
create a healthy relationship. But when
you have a system where one side
benefits totally, the other side just
provides everything, uh you have you
have an unhealthy relationship and when
it's not being met in a kind of amicable
fashion, uh you have one side that
becomes needy and dependent and the
other side that effectively controls
them through that neediness. Now, is
America in a position like that with
these countries? Ironically, I don't
think it's worked out for anybody. I
agree with California, Gal. I don't
think anybody has benefited from this.
Americans do not like paying for the
military of NATO. We don't. I don't. Do
you know anybody who's like, "Hey, good
thing Spain doesn't pay its fair share.
Wonderful." No. We want them to pay
their fair share. Um, in fact, recently
Trump just announced sanctions against
Spain because they're not paying their
fair share, saying, "Look, you got to do
it. We're not going to pay your bills
anymore."
um you know that's that's how you create
a good relationship. I've heard stories
of this for example. So look there are
some good sides to it. Post World War II
uh many countries would have would have
had a famine were it not for American
food supplies. Many people in China the
CCP covers up this history but many of
the older folks know this. Many people
in China lived because American was
America was sending them powdered eggs
and spam. Many people in the former
Soviet Union survived after World War II
because Americans were sending them
food. We kept them alive. They're alive
because of us. A lot of them at least.
Uh many of them acknowledge this post
World War II. You know, American
powdered eggs are what made them live.
They would not have lived without it.
Same thing with Japan post World War II.
A lot of people remember that American
food helped them survive. And many other
countries that's the case as well. You
know, our our good old ultrarocessed uh
not very healthy food will keep you
alive and and you know, good on us for
doing it, right? Uh but typically you
don't want to do it forever. The problem
is some countries have kind of done it
forever. uh many parts of Africa have
talked about this and and I've actually
talked about people on the other side of
this.
One thing that I've been told actually
because you know I like to think hey you
know we help the starving kids in
Africa. How many of us watch the
commercials growing up donate 10 cents a
day and you know you can you can stop
little Billy from starving you know good
you know donate a hundred bucks. Um, a
lot of us like to help people, but what
has been told to me by people in these
countries is that basically because it
created an imbalance on competition.
They become dependent on free food and
free handouts. And it's made it so
nobody bothers to build farms. Nobody
bothers to start a food business. Nobody
bothers to try to produce things
locally. Why would you? The cost of
doing it is greater than the cost of
importing it. there's no demand for it
because people don't want to spend money
on it. They get free handouts. Uh if you
wake up every day and your food gets
handed to you on a silver platter, well,
not a silver platter, but you know,
hypothetically speaking, your food gets
handed you on a silver platter, are you
going to go out and spend 20 bucks a day
to buy food? Probably not. Uh and so
what happens over the course of time?
You eliminate demand. There's no demand
for it because they get it for free. why
would you bother producing it? And
that's a that's an example of how
dependency can turn into a bad
relationship, right? Uh they have
stopped creating the elements of
independence
because they don't need it because of
dependence and that has made them you
knowffect I'm not talking about all
countries. I'm talking just a handful of
areas but uh that has made them not
being able to have a functioning economy
in many regards. that's made them so
they can't really have uh healthy food
in many regards. It's made it so that
they they're just indefinitely in uh in
dependent on us and and I don't think
that's good for anybody actually.
It's not just food. You know, we have
the we have the starving kids in Europe
also getting American subsidized
medicine starving for medicine, not
starving for food. And so when we talk
about all those great health care
programs and we find out that, you know,
Americans are basically paying the
difference. Great. Um I kind of wish
medicine was a little more affordable
here, too. But you know what? I'm glad
we're finally working things out. Uh
Denise B, you're saying, "I'd love for
my tax dollars to pay for all for the
rent of illegal aliens in detention
facilities awaiting their deportation."
And you know what, Denise? you may just
get that Christmas present,
you know, speaking of dependence, right?
Yeah. Anyways, uh it is it is kind of
wild. And look, when it comes to Los
Angeles, I should have given a little
I'll give a little more of my take on
what's happening there.
Los Angeles right now, as I mentioned,
they've passed they they've signed the
bill. They're declaring a state of
emergency and they want to cover the
costs to offset the troubles that
illegal aliens are having as they face
pressure from ICE. You have a lot of
people who are afraid to go out. They're
afraid to go to work. They're afraid to
go to church. They're afraid to go
wherever because they're illegal aliens
and they're worried that ICE is going to
throw them in the back of a truck and
drive them off to the border. Uh they're
worried about this, right? Um, Los
Angeles, a huge percentage of the
population is illegal aliens. Like, uh,
someone told me the I I won't give the
number because I I'll get it wrong, but
someone told me the the percentage
recently, a huge percent of the
population in Los Angeles is illegal
aliens. And those are just illegal
aliens. And even greater percent are the
sons and daughters of illegal aliens. Uh
and so, you know, you have your illegal
alien population, then you have your
second generation, you know, population
who, you know, are legal because that's
the way our system works. Uh but, you
know, they they care about their
parents. They probably don't want to see
them being sent off either. Um in other
words, if you're not an illegal alien
there, you probably have a friend or
family member who is. And um you know
that does create problems when you have
such a huge population that that comes
from that. Now what happens when you
want to deport all of them? I mean look
I was out in Los Angeles just just
recently. Some of you actually came to
my speaking events there. We have
another one coming up next month
actually in Orange County. I'll be
giving you more updates on that pretty
soon. But um you know it's it's a
problem because I don't know how they're
ever going to deal with it. you have
such a massive portion of the population
there that could be deported that you
can't really do it without like just
turning the whole city upside down. And
there are a lot of people wondering if
it's even possible. The current numbers
of deportations from the Trump
administration are not anywhere close to
being able to fully deal with the
problem. So the question is, look, are
they going to up the Annie? Are they
going to increase it? Are they just
going after the criminals, the gang
members, you know, the people with
criminal records? Maybe. I don't know.
Um, are they going to, you know, throw
the border wide open after Trump leaves
office because the problem is so big you
can never he can never fix it. I don't
know. Um, we'll have to see how they
approach it. But there are a lot of
people fighting to keep it. And the
other issue you have is that look, you
know, if you if your parents are are
illegal aliens and you're born here, you
know, you can run for government office.
Uh you can become an elected official
and and we have a lot of elected
officials whose whose parents are
illegal aliens. And when they go and
pass laws and vote on things, you know,
they're they're voting based on that.
And so, you know, I don't know how
America is going to deal with this
issue. uh really either we just let them
all stay or we uh send them all back.
And I don't I don't know if either of
those is totally possible. So I mean I I
don't know what they're going to do with
it.
Uh Robins do you're saying why do
Californians let them get away with
this? If the illegals control it that
much, maybe it's time to give California
back to Mexico.
You know, I think you might have found
the big solution.
Look, as a former San Diegon, um I'd
hate to see San Diego get given to them.
Maybe we can like do like a like a
territory thing. You ever see like
countries where like like like Alaska
Alaska is kind of like in Canada? Maybe
we can give Mexico like Los Angeles and
San Francisco. Who's with me?
We give them LA, right? How about we
just give them LA? I'd be okay with
that. What What do y'all think? Should
we give Should we give Los Angeles to
Mexico and we could just finally put an
end to this? Maybe we'll give them like
a little straight I I don't know how
we'd do it. Um what what do y'all think?
Should we give Los Angeles to Mexico?
Would that solve the problem? Let me let
me know in the chat.
Let's see. Another question. TMA, you're
saying they ought to require them to
take a Chinese history class at
universities. You know, they really
should. Actually, that would be a great
way to deal with this. All right, let me
paint the picture. If you grew up in
China, you've been taught fake history.
You've been taught the Chinese Communist
Party saved the Chinese people from
their backwards past. uh you've been
taught that the Chinese people were you
know living in like medieval like fe you
know thieftdoms and constantly at war
with each other and that the foreign
countries were always attacking poor old
China and that the great CCP saved them
from it. That that's the history they're
taught. They're not taught about the
great leap forward. They're not taught
about the cultural revolution. They're
not taught about the great things
ancient China had. Do you know that
China was so wealthy at many points that
there was nothing they could even trade
with other countries that they wanted?
They had there was nothing they needed.
Uh they were the most one of the most
powerful countries like in history and
they have a history of like 5,000 years.
Um basically in terms of history, what
they're being taught in China is just an
outright lie. It's a massive lie.
Uh what really happened? Well, China up
until the Opium Wars, the United States
was not involved. People falsify that
history. Um, the Opium Wars, right? Uh,
China, of course, basically was
happening at the time. Other countries
wanted to buy stuff from China. China
would only accept gold as, you know,
tinder for trade. They didn't they
didn't want Western craftsmanship
because it wasn't good enough. Uh, they
wanted gold or silver. That led to
basically the exchange of a hard asset
against a disposable asset tea. And so
Britain was trading its gold for Chinese
tea. What happens after a week or a
year? You throw the tea in the trash,
the gold stays forever. And basically
the wealth of Europe was being offshored
to China. They said, "We need to find a
disposable product to trade for a
disposable product." That was good old
opium. China had opium prior to that.
They did. Uh but this the the mass trade
of opium
the greater availability of it um made
it into more of a drug. Uh prior to that
opium was mainly used as like a a
medicine in China. You know if you had
to go through a surgery or you know get
medical treatment to give you a bit of
painkiller. You know what I mean? And
and that was how they used it. It wasn't
like a potent drug. And of course uh you
know a lot of corruption a lot of
problems within China during the last
dynasty led to the dynasty's collapse.
China entered a brief state of anarchy
and not a chaotic anarchy actually a
relatively harmonious anarchy. Uh but
during that state China was looking for
a new form of government. Do they follow
the rest of the world on the move to
maybe the American Republic you know
model democracy
uh or do they move towards what you know
Soviet Union was doing and remember they
they share a border with Russia on the
north. Do they go that way and they
chose to follow the Soviet Union? Mao
Zadong worked with um you know Shanghai
at the time was was run by it was a it
was a Jewish city uh worked with them
and brought communism to all of China
and that's that's what happened and so
of course China went towards communism a
lot of people fought against it they had
a civil war the Kuming Tong fought them
and then when the CCP established itself
what happened well
CCP established itself they then
launched various movements the great
leap forward the cultural revolution,
all kinds of terrible things. Uh they
killed upwards of a 100red million
Chinese people. They destroyed the
history, they destroyed the culture,
they destroyed the religion. Uh they
demonized all the traditional values,
Confucianism, Buddhism, Dowoism,
Christianity. Also, uh a lot of people
don't know this, but China for a long
time was one of the few countries on
earth where most religions existed in
harmony. All of that was destroyed. Um
the values of the country were
destroyed. The the wealth of the country
was destroyed. It was it was horrible.
And what happened then? Well, Deng
Xiaoping 1980s
uh comes in and says, "We're going to
reform and open up. The Soviet Union's
collapsing. Communism is failing." And
they decided to open up quote unquote.
What happened then? American business,
Western investment, and Western money
came in and bailed out the CCP.
That allowed for them to bring in new
technologies. That allowed them to build
these, you know, pretty skyscrapers. Uh
for those of you into neon lights,
right? That allowed them to make all the
pretty neon lights. And you know, I've
said it before and I'll say it again.
The new China was not built by the CCP.
the new China was built by Western
investment in Western business. It
wasn't the CCP that built that. And so,
you know, they're not taught this in
Chinese in in schools. I I I would say
actually that if Chinese students were
taught about the Tianaan Square
massacre, uh if they were taught about
the genocides in China, if they were
taught about the real story of Maoadong,
a lot of people in China would not be
allowed to send their kids to American
universities. And if they did, they'd go
back to China and they would actually
probably help change China into a less
communist, if no communist at all,
country. Uh it would be fantastic. That
That's a great idea. Uh if you Okay, you
send your kids here, but they're gonna
have to take real Chinese history
courses. Wonderful. Uh maybe give them a
ticket to go see Shen Yun while they're
at it, right? They can they can go watch
the show the CCP is trying to stop
because they're so afraid of people
seeing what true Chinese culture was.
Great show, by the way, if you haven't
seen it, by the way. Yeah, Epic Times is
a sponsor of Sheny Performing Arts. All
right, everyone. That said, um, in case
you didn't notice, I'm on the road. I'm
actually doing some interviews for a
future I'm working on. We're working on
some big stuff. Um, I mentioned before
I'm not a desktop journalist, right? I
get out. I get out quite a bit. So, you
have to join me on the join me while I
travel. Um, that said, let me know in
the chat what you think. Do you think a
solution to the Chinese student stealing
our technology and making us more
communist problem can be solved by just
showing them real Chinese history?
Should we do it? Uh, should we hand off
Los Angeles to Mexico?
I think maybe that's a good idea. I
don't know. Maybe we should. Let me know
in the chat what you think. Is that a
horrible idea? A great idea? Let me know
in the chat. That said, folks, uh, we
will not have a show tomorrow again on
Fridays. I'm working on some feature
stuff. Join me again on Monday though,
10:30 a.m. Eastern time. In the
meantime, please like and subscribe.
Don't forget. And that said, as always,
please take care of yourselves, stay
informed, and stay free. Thank you.
