SAUCE FOR DRINKING THE CAKE:
300ml whole milk
100g sweetened condensed milk
200ml filtered water
40g 50% cocoa chocolate or 20g cocoa powder
CHOCOLATE SAUCE FOR FINISHING:
150g semisweet chocolate or blend
50g heavy cream
20g margarine or butter
100ml water (if you find the ganache is too firm, you can use 150ml next time 🩷)
GANACHE FOR DECORATING:
700g semisweet chocolate or blend
245g whipped cream
Price Cost: R$117.43. Suggested retail price: R$35.00 per slice, including the finishing syrup.
Keep in mind:
1. EACH SLICE WEIGHS ON AVERAGE 460g, or almost HALF A KG of cake.
2. I calculated the prices based on the ingredients I find here in my city. You need to calculate according to the prices in your area.
3. I used ganache to cover and decorate the cake, but if you want to lower the cost, you can use whipped cream.
