Restoring My Off-Grid Cabin After 4 Years | Winter Is Coming

It’s been 4 years since I built this small wooden cabin in the middle of the forest.
Back then, I didn’t pour concrete under the bed — and now, mice had dug holes underneath and filled it with soil.

In this video, I decided to restore everything properly before winter arrives.
I repaired the bed foundation with concrete, designed a minimal foldable table by the window, and built new ammo-crate-style shelves and cabinets.
I also cleaned the entire cabin and finally removed that giant tree root that’s been bothering me for years — it took almost 5 hours.

Working through sudden heavy rain wasn’t easy, but the air, the smell, and the rhythm of the place made it all worth it.

I grilled a hearty hamburger outside during the day. Later that night, after such a long and tiring day, I took a quiet moment to read and let the day slow down.

When all the work was finally done, I fed and rewarded my dogs, made myself a warm toast inside the cabin, and peacefully watched everything I had built.
