Because it's Friday and it's time for another edition of Friday's Finds. Five products this week. Of course, two of them are go together, but we have five boxes to open. Background watchers have got to have a look. We got grass almost almost almost have a yard for the dogs. We still have no main projects done. We just have we were just informed that I got a big project coming up. But not on the house. In case you don't know, Friday's finds is I do this every Friday. Amazon vendors send me products. I usually do four to five different boxes. I open boxes. Sometimes I know what's in them, sometimes I don't. But regardless, I've got to figure out if they work, how to put them together, and and so I do all the hard work. That way, you don't have to. And I try to I try not to be boring. And I'm being boring. So, all my background watchers, we don't have anything new happening. This is going to be a fun edition. I've got some fun products lined up and and those going to always the products usually mean projects. Got all got all my new lights going. We're going to kick it off. We're going to kick it off. Smallest. This is they challenge me. This is from I don't know. I I I toxic to I give up. I can't say it. I can't do it. They sent us a box. Oh, check this out. These are lockout safety padlocks. So if you're working on, let's say you're working on a high voltage commercial electrical panel and you you don't want to get lit up. So you turn the panel off, you turn the power off, and you put your in your contact info on there. And then you put that on. whatever panel you're locking. That way, you don't have someone come along and turn it on. So, while while we're on the top, let's go do it. Let's go look at a panel right now. Let's say I had some some technical equipment that needed to be serviced, but I don't want somebody to just come along. So, I turn off the panel, the breaker, shut it all down, and to make sure that I don't get lit up. We would put this lock in place and put your name, phone number on the back, and they can call you. We can even put one of those up here and that way you don't have to worry about somebody stealing your meter. Yeah. All right. To determine are they keyed the same? They are not keyed the same but they are numbered. So this is this is number two and it's numbered here. So, two and two. Now, that way you can keep track. I was wondering how you going to keep track of that. Seems like uh you might be missing out, but that's better than being energized. And you typically don't have more than one thing or one. You typically only have one box that you need to lock out, but just in case you're prepared to do five. That's a heck of a deal right there. Nothing beats You can't go wrong when you don't get energized. All right, moving right along. Let's open another box. I think I think it's their plan is to to see me look foolish trying to pronounce these names. All right, let's open them up and see what's in it. Woohoo! Look at that. Now, big old casters right there. I like that. This set has two locking and two free, two non-locking. And I have just the project for it. So, let me get on that. And meanwhile, let's open some more boxes and then I'll get on this project. Vivore. Tough tools. Half price. Yes, I have I have more Vivore. I have more Vivore for you. This one. This one. This one's gonna be fun. I'm excited. I'm really excited about this one. It's kind of heavy. This is something that I've I've contemplated in spending money on, but have not. Now that I cuz I got a present for this plasma cutter. Divore Tough Tools half price. So, they have sent us a plasma cutter. I've never used a plasma cutter before. It looks like we're going to need some gas. And that would be a 50 50 amp. Let's see what's in the box. A box in a box. So in our books we have a manual housing grounding. We have a box in a box and we can run that off of 110 with a adapter plasma torch. Now that means I'm going to have to put shoes and pants on. There's our plasma handle. What do we have in here? regulator, but a water separator or a pressure regulator, one of the two. We got more fittings for that right here. So, let me educate myself before I start plugging in plasma torches. Y'all remember you you remember the the trailer wire video couple weeks back with the the green trailer. In this video, we will be taking another step on the green trailer project. Meanwhile, let's open two more boxes. Most of the time, I choose the products. I I communicate with either the company or a talent agency and but anyway and most of the time they're they're presenting say are you interested can you work with us and so every day I go through a lot of emails saying nope nope nope yes nope nope nope yes uh vivore they actually sent me a list and I I I identified several things on the list that I wanted to work with and and then what I'm trying to say is sometimes I choose the product and then sometimes the product chooses me. Sometimes I'll have products show up when I'm expecting something else and I'll be expecting something and then something entirely different shows up. That's what happened here. >> Vivo tough tools >> half price. When this showed up, I'm like, uh, it is the Vivore. The Vivore disc golf set. 12 discs. It's the 12 disc set. I don't even, you know, I know I kind of know what disc golf is. I actually had to reach out to some friends to get get more information. cuz I I've actually documented in my RV video, RV travel videos. I've actually documented uh several locations that actually have disc golf courses, but I still don't know much about disc golf, so I had to educate myself. Anyway, so we're going to we're going to learn about using disc golf throwing discs. We have four of those and four of these. Four of these. Not sure what that is. Then we have documentation bag. We have a bag. We can look we can look like we know what we're doing. So this is the putter. And the putter's got a a thicker rim. And then this is your mid-range. And it's got a I don't know a little lip there. Not sure not sure the purpose of that. And then we have the driver. And it's got a a lower lip a little more aerodynamic course to me. The closest disc golf course to me is an hour away. I said, "Does Vivore happen to?" And they said, "Oh yes." So that takes us to the next box. Let me get the next box. Vivo thought of this. They actually show you how to hold the disc. They They had me in mind. So, what I asked Vivore was, "You sell the discs? Do do you sell Targets?" And they said, "Oh, yes, we do. Let me do some things with the camera and then we'll open this box. I got to get the There's only one target in here. I was wrong. I only have one target. That's all I need to learn how to do this. Let me put it together. [Music] [Applause] [Music] I'm ready. I'm geared up. Kind of cut you into your my neck though. There's a couple of different styles of targets for the the game of disc golf. And the best ones have the double layer of chains so that when the the putter impacts the chains, that's why it has the thicker the thicker edge. But that's yay, I made a putt. After all, I'm learning how to do it. So, I don't need to set up an elaborate course. But what's cool about this is I can set up my own challenging course. So, I can I can go down here in the forest and I can find a path cuz I actually have a couple of places where I can get a straight line almost. Casters are working out extremely well. for the pool box platform. These things roll so good. Pop the take the brake off. Take the brake off. They got the neopre. They so smooth, man. All right. I I like them. I like them a lot. I'm going to invest several more sets of those because I I now want everything on my patio to be on casters so that way when I got to clean it, it's easy. These are awesome for it. Never operated a plasma cutter before. So, I'm learning. This is This is all new for me. Here's [Music] some mild soft steel. Whoa. Look at that. That's so cool. Let's do Let's do it again. Let's do it one more time before we go to a heavier piece of steel. Now it'll cut the harder steel, but my air compressor is a little bit small. So, let's check it out. I got to tell you, for the for the money, that's a game changer for me. Now, I am going to have to get a bigger air compressor. No question about that. But I need a bigger air compressor. Anyway, uh this this is so cool. Now, you don't have to have an air compressor. You can use bottled air like from uh the the air gas. Any gas supplier has bottled air or you can use oxygen or there's a couple of different gas mixes. And if you're going to be cutting like aluminum or stainless, you're going to want a different gas rather than just air because the oxygen causes issues. I'm just a I'm a hobbyist, so don't ask me what issues are, but I'm impressed with Vivore's plasma torch. Thank you, Vivore, for sponsoring this Friday's finds video. All right, we're moving right along. So, if you look at the pine tree, the big pine tree, right there beside it is the target. That is a 300 ft. I know I said I was going to do 100 ft, but I have a 300 foot span here. Now, if you know about disc golf and I give somebody bad information, post a comment down there. Correct me. Set me straight. So, there's a couple of different ways to throw the disc. So, I can't say that that flying disc name from back in the 60s named after a pie 10, but the typical way you would hold that would have been like that. These are actually substantially smaller than that flying disc from my childhood. and the other. I've seen people throw like that and I can see that might cause you to have some issues with the rotator cuff if you don't stretch and warm up first. I've not ever thrown a disc, so let's see if Let's see if I can do it. That was pitiful. Good thing I got some more. There we go. That did pretty good. Little over halfway. So, if you're playing with friends, you would put your marker down, I guess. And then we switch over to the the mid-range. Now you have to be behind where that one land behind the lie. That's a where it where it lie. You have to be behind the lie. [Music] Whoa. Look at there. That was pretty good. Pick up my marker. Pick up my bag. I'm going to be I'm going to be in the brush to get behind the lie. [Music] I got a branch right here. [Music] [Music] Even worse. [Music] That's even worse. What I learned is you don't put your target if if you want you want instant gratification, don't put your target that close to the bush. [Music] [Applause] 6 7 eight. So that was nine nine strokes. So I if we're to extrapolate nine strokes for this one hole and we were playing what? A nine hole. Yeah, that's I guess since that's the first basket, the first hole that I've played, I guess that's not a bad thing. I had fun doing it. And now I have my own course. Although it would be better to have more than one basket on my course. This was a fun episode. Yeah. Tell me what's your favorite product.
