And now the 22 News Storm Team forecast.
And time now is 12:13. We're taking a
live look out in Chipe for now. We got
really nothing but a blue sky. Going to
be a really nice day out there. Little
warmer than yesterday. And we're going
to continue that warming trend on into
the weekend. Greenfield also looking
pretty good. Nothing but a blue sky. Got
a breeze out of the south. Nice and
light. Winds are going to be staying
fairly calm the rest of the day.
Temperature out there for now is 61
degrees in uh Northampton. We're 64 in
Springfield, 60s back in the Birkshars,
59 temperature there in Greenfield.
Throughout the rest of the day, as we go
through the afternoon, this is 3 p.m.
here. You can see many of us climbing
right around 70° up and down the valley.
60s back in the Birkers pretty much just
about does it. So, I do expect many of
us will get right around 70. Uh, and
then we'll fall back towards the 50s and
60s for the evening. Eventually 50s and
eventually some 40s going into the
overnight. Springfield looking really
nice out there over the Connecticut
River. As we go throughout the day, it
is the beginning of this warming trend.
Again, many of us will likely top out in
the low 70s for this afternoon. Likely
right around 80 going into the weekend
for both Saturday and Sunday. And then
looking ahead towards the long range. Uh
there could be some showers or maybe a
little bit some light rain by the middle
of next week on Wednesday. That's our
only rain chance we got right now.
Clouds of radar looks good across much
of the region as we go throughout the
rest of the day. 12:00 here, not much
going on. A few thin, wispy clouds, but
that's just about it. at 3:00 p.m.
towards 600 p.m. looks great. We do stay
very quiet as we go into the overnight.
So, if you do want to get outside this
weekend and try and definitely do so,
it's going to be really, really nice and
warm. I mean, you want to check out some
of the fall foliage. If you really want
to find the peak or the good color, got
to head into some of the higher terrain
right now, but not that far of a drive
to get to the Green Mountains here in
Vermont, even the White Mountains in New
Hampshire, the Aderondex, the Catskills
there in New York, but even the
Birkshars starting to show up as some
good color. So, uh, maybe just try and
get outside and start getting some early
leaf peeping in. Temperatures out there,
70 to 74, mostly sunny for the rest of
the day. We're going to fall back into
the 40s, mostly clear and quiet for
tonight. In terms of the first weekend
of October, again, really can't beat it.
It's going to be really nice and warm.
Not an October feel. 80° out there
tomorrow, 82 on Sunday. Plenty of sun
for the rest of the 20th Storm Team
7-day forecast. We got temperatures
remaining in the low 80s even for Monday
and Tuesday of next week. Maybe the
chance again of a few showers or some
light rain on Wednesday and then we fall
back to the 60s by the end of next week
by Thursday. High of 62 there. Overnight
low temperatures mostly in the 40s and
50s. Why don't you check our ear
forecast? You could do so by getting the
