Medieval Arming Sword Part 23 - How to break the half-shield of I.33 sword and buckler

This is a practical way to attack when someone is pointing their weapon at you. Preferably wait for your opponent to initiate their thrust first, and then do this, so that they cannot escape your clearing cut. But if your opponent is passive go ahead without waiting.
The simplest way to fight with and arming sword is with two cuts. I call this style HARDSTYLE, as these two cuts are very powerful, able to cut through heavy clothing, and perhaps light mail armour.
The cuts are based on the only known (to me at least) military style for the sword, as described in the Cassani's military manual. This old military style does not have any thrusts, and uses the cuts to parry the opponent's weapon.
