How to Draw a Bird Easy

Hi Drawstup Cuties, Winnie here. Today we're going to draw a little birdie. So let's get started. To draw this cute bird, let's first start by drawing the eyes. So I'm going to start right here with a circle and I'm going to come right across say about this wide and draw another circle. Now with my two circles in, let's make them draw some cute eyes with two smaller circles inside for highlights and a curved line at the bottom and shade in the top and lines at the bottom. And same thing over here. There. So now the eyes and let's draw the beak. So in between the eyes, I'm going to come about right here and just draw a soft angle towards the center and come right back down. And then we're just going to round it off to finish the beak on the edge sides and just connect it with a curve. So it's almost like an oval but just has a little tip right here in the center. Then from there, above each eye, let's draw a curve. There. Then from there, let's go ahead. We need to start to draw the head and the body. So I'm going to come to the center of my eye, come out say about this wide and same thing here. I'm practicing just like the other side and using those two points, I'm going to go ahead and start to draw the top of the head. So I'm going to angle a little bit and go up and just kind of take a look how high you want the head to go. So let's say about right here. I'm just going to go ahead right there. That's towards my center. And so we're going to just bring this curve all the way back down, just like the other side to our point there. So now we have that. Let's bring this down. We're going to angle a little bit more past the eye and same thing here. So now that we've created that close to the same level as the eye, we're going to start to come out even more. So this is kind of like where the wings are going to be. So it kind of reminds me of a pear. So it's drawing a pear bird, I guess. So we're just going to bring this down. So when I draw a cute little bird to celebrate spring. So let's bring this down. Just go ahead and connect it at the bottom. So see, it looks like a pear, right? So hopefully this is nice and simple for you to draw along with me. Just creating this pear shape for the body. And from there, let's come about right here, kind of like where it starts to angle. I'm going to go about here and draw a curve and then taper it. So same thing on the other side, but right there, just like the other side. And so this is going to be the wings. So it's just a nice, simple way to draw a bird with the wings tucked in. There. Then from there, let's draw a little bit of feathers on top of the head to make it extra cute. So let's come up about right here and I'm going to go up, curve it down and then give it another little curve and tuck it in. There. So cute, right? Hopefully you think so. And then from there, now that we have that in, let's draw the feet. So I'm going to go say, use my eyes as my guide. I'm going to come down and right here, I'm just going to start with an oval and put two ovals next to it. So just three total. So same thing just under your eye, right in the center. Just start with the center one and then two more right next to it. Then from there, we're going to connect it to come in a little bit and you can wobble if you like for a little branch and we're going to continue that branch and we're going to come out and go up a little bit and continue this and come down. And then on this side, let's go out and make it extra fancy. I'm going to come right here and maybe just break it up into a branch and everything. So this part is all up to you what you like to put on your branch or how fancy you want to make your branch. But you just want the branches to come in right here so that the feet hang over it so that it looks like the feet is wrapping around the branch. Then from there, I'm going to come right here really quick and just draw a leaf to finish it up and add some color. There. Okay, so we have our leaf in and then almost forgot, we need to draw a beautiful tail for our bird. So I'm going to come right here where the feet are and I'm going to angle and angle and about right there. I'll stop since I don't want to go too long. I'm just going to curve it in. So same thing here, curve it in and then in the center, just got curved down there. And for some details, come back here, let's say the center and just going to draw one and two and same thing here. And then the center, just bring it down. And let's see here. Don't want to overcomplicate it. So something like that. Hopefully that inspires you to come up with your tail. And then last but not least, I'm just going to do this really lightly or you can just do that when you're coloring. Just so that we know there's a bunch of feathers right here and it's nice and soft.
