Ready for Autumn in England | Village Charm, Cosy Moments & Seasonal Baking
Welcome to the first of my autumn vlogs! In this video, I share a slow and cosy September day here in the English countryside. From rainy mornings — the perfect time to refresh the wardrobe and add little touches of autumn decor — to warm walks with Alma, our Spanish Water Dog, autumn is gently making its presence felt.
We’ll bake a spiced apple crumble, a true British classic, served with creamy custard. Using apples from last week’s countryside walk, this recipe fills the kitchen with the scents of cinnamon, ginger and caramelised fruit.
Later, we step outside for a peaceful village stroll. Among oak trees just beginning to change and sheep grazing quietly in the fields, autumn whispers its first signs of beauty.
If you love slow living, cosy autumn vibes, seasonal baking, autumn home decor and countryside walks in England, this vlog is like a warm cup of tea on a crisp day. 🍵
