Chiswick House is a Grade 1 listed Neo-Palladian villa in the heart of west London. Built in 1727 by Lord Burlington, it replicates the classical architecture of ancient Rome. The award winning gardens were the first of the English landscape movement, designed to bring a more natural look to country estates in the eighteenth century.

The house is open to the public Sunday - Wednesday during the summer months. The gardens are open every day from 7.00 am till dusk all year round. Entrance to the gardens and the conservatory is free of charge. A small charge is made for entrance to the house. Opening times for the house in 2017 are 10.00 am - 6.00 pm Sunday - Wednesday including Bank holidays, from Sunday 2 April.
