Part 1 Crab pots LOADED with MONSTER MUD CRAB | Catching SEAFOOD for the family BARRAMUNDI

I have the beautiful Mike Carney 450 top ender and we are going to go try and catch some barra. Got four of the Ultima Pro crab pots in there cuz I'm solo today. So, we'll see how we go. But before I get into it, just want to do a quick shout out to Estelle Rose. She is my daughter's best friend at school and she's having a bit of a rough trot. She's been in hospital for 3 weeks. So, just wanted to give you a little shout out, Estelle, and I hope you're all good, darling. I know you got this. Mom and dad are there for you. So, I'll see you. We'll come up for a visit during the week, but let's go get this boat in the water. And if I catch some crabs, darling, I'll bring you one. But let's go catch some fish. Let's get it, dude. [Music] Heat up here. All righty, boys and girls. We are going to get some pots soaking. I have the awesome iron and bark crab pot spreader. As you can see, we got some nice fresh chicken down here. I don't know if you can see that, but we got some nice fresh chicken defrosted overnight. And I want to show you the new kitchen town. So, we have some 900 pots. These are three funnel, three upright. Just a little bit easier to set up. I'll show you how easy they are to set up. Have a go at this. I like to keep me rope on top of the pot cuz I know that that that rope. We got one arm. You do that one by hand. So that's that one done. We got two arms. I also do this one by hand. And then you just need your crab pot spreader for one. See? And have a go at this. It's got that nice notch in it. I've seen some um less quality ones, I will say, without that notch and they just slip off. So, they're a bit of a pain in the butt. But these pots have a full welded ring. So, there's no joiner. Can never fail on you. Not that any of the others have, but it's just a new system that Jay and John are running on the Ultimate Pros. And it's as simple as that, boys. One pot set up. So, we'll get a chicken in him. Get two little bits of chicken actually in him and we'll run him at the mouth of this little triet tree. I think it's as good a spot as any. So, you want to do your top up. I like to do them up at about the same spot, but you don't want to cover your entries. So, come over to your upright. And there you have it. Perfectly set up ultimate pro crab pot. We'll sneak in just inside the mouth of this um tvetry here. Little creek coming off the main system and we'll chuck this bad boy in. Stay there and we'll drive in. Let's get it, dudes. All right, we'll hide it behind this tree just for the passerbys. We like to check people's pots. Look at the bait moving over there, boys. Might even have a quick throw while we're here because while I am vibing today, I'm going to soak a bait so we can try and knock a bar over. That's one pot in. I'm just going to quickly get this tight pot ready. Million things going on at once, but that's all right. That's our courage, isn't it? But it's just a heap of bait moving right on this point. So, we might set a body up. That was that one here for couple of well, I'd say a couple of months actually. But I think that's it just ahead there. So, we'll get this pot set up. Now, this is the second soak of these pots. I did soak them with the old boy uncle and that because last weekend was my pop's 90th. I did get a bit of footage. So, I might roll on that now. Um, I went out with me cousin's husband and my cousin, my other cousin's boyfriend or man, whatever you want to call him. And, um, we had a good laugh, but we didn't get many crabs, but it was a good fun little trip. Um, I went out the day before and we we got eight or nine crabs the day before. So, they had plenty of a feed. They just wanted to come out for a bit of a laugh and it was a laugh. So, I'll roll on the footage of that getting the eight crabs and then the next day going with the boys. But, hope you enjoy and then I'll come back to getting these in. Just flapping my head.
