TRYING NEW FALL ITEMS AT FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS!!!

This is like, it's fun. It's festive. We're super festive. We're Halloweeners. Oh! Mm! Oh! I'm good. It hit me. What is up you guys? So we are going to be trying fall fast food items. We're a little late to this trend, but right now we're in the Starbucks drive-thru. Figured that would be like the best place to start. I think I need some caffeine. Yeah. I'm dragging just a little bit, and so I honestly don't know what they have besides pumpkin spice lattes. Like they have like a pumpkin muffin, a pumpkin loaf, all the good stuff. But I'm actually hungry. It is 1.30 when we're filming this, and I'm starving. So the next place that we're gonna go, I think we're either gonna go to McDonald's or Wendy's, because I need some like real food. As real as McDonald's I would need it. They have a pumpkin cream muffin. One second please. I know what I want, I think. Okay, order it. No, wait, I need a minute. They're waiting for us. I know, give me a minute. Order what you want. Okay, can I please get a, I forgot the sizes. What's the small again? The smallest is gonna be a tall. Okay, I'll do, yeah, I'll do a tall. I'll do a tall pumpkin iced latte please. Can I please do a tall iced pecan crunch oat milk latte? Yeah. Could we also do a tall pecan oat milk cortado? Cortado only comes in a short size. Oh, yeah, let's do it. Okay. Awesome. And then, sorry, last thing, could we do the pumpkin cream cheese muffin? And then that'll be it. All righty. I'm only spending $22 at Starbucks, no big deal. We're literally doing a video where we try the different items. Cortado, what's a cortado? I don't know exactly what it is, but it's very close to a cappuccino. When you said iced pecan crunch oat milk latte, that sounds better than the drink I got. I know, I- I think we should switch. I didn't see the menu. I was panicked. But they have this baked apple croissant thingy that I've never had. I've never seen that, but I got the muffin because I love the muffin. Is it too late to scan for points? I just realized that. Thank you. Can I get a straw, please? A couple of straws, actually. Thank you so much. You too, thanks. We have to keep the AC on. Normally I turn it off whenever we're filming, but we have a baby sleeping in the backseat, so. Anytime I go and get coffee, I usually get a cappuccino. But if I'm at a place where I don't think that they know how to make a cappuccino, I get a cortado. It's just like espresso and milk. So it's just less milk than a latte. Probably like tastes a lot more like espresso, right? Well, it just, I guess. Yeah, I guess it's stronger. All right, so this one is the pecan oat milk cortado. That feels really hot. It is, it's warm. I'm gonna wait for that one. I'll do that one last. Alex cannot do the heat. No, I don't have a calloused tongue or whatever you call it. This one, the iced pecan crunch oat latte. I did not order this one, but I might drink it anyway. We're trying it. That honestly might be some of the better coffee I've ever had. Whoa. Not even lying. I think part of it is it tastes super, super milky. So everything I hate, you got it. I don't taste a lot of coffee in it. Again, well. Which makes it really good. We are total opposites. He's gonna hate this. This one just, it's like, you taste the coffee in it for sure, but then you also like taste the little hints of like pecans. I love pecans. I literally had a butter pecan swirl iced coffee at Dunkin' yesterday. Oh yeah, I never tried that. It is so good. And this is the pumpkin spice latte. Wow, it's actually orange. I didn't know that they were actually orange. This is straight up, this is a glass of whole milk. That's why it's so good. I don't think that this is, maybe this is made right, but that is a glass of whole milk. I will be drinking that one for sure. I mean, it is good. It is good. I just, I don't taste any coffee in it whatsoever. Pumpkin spice is just original. It's okay. I think they're better hot, probably. Yes, I was gonna say, I've never liked them iced. Of course, I'm the one that ordered that. I screwed up everything on this order. No, it would be weird to order a hot drink right now. Oh wait, actually, this is kinda good. I'm just glad that she ordered this. Iced pecan crunch oat latte. Okay, actually, it's probably one of the best iced pumpkin spice lattes I've ever had. Really? It tastes so good. You can actually taste the pumpkin. It's not like a glass of milk like the other one. But wait, I want you to try this one. This one? Yeah. All right. It's good. Yeah, that's a little strong for me, like coffee strong. If you like traditional cappuccinos, or if you think lattes have too much milk in it, this is for you. It's definitely not bad. I think just for a non-coffee person, that's a little strong for me. I think Courtney wanted to film this video because she just wanted to get some Starbucks today and not feel bad about it. Have you ever had one of these? Cream cheese muffins. Take in like a bite off of yours before because you like those. We're gonna take a bite of this and then we're gonna go to wherever the next place is. This is the best. I need to get some cream cheese in it, right? In a bite? All right. Alex takes the world for expense. I think that's why you don't like Starbucks is because all of their foods are like bites and like small. I'm a grown boy. This is true. Actually, he is so active. Even last night, he's like, do you wanna go for a walk? He's like, I'm antsy. It's like eight o'clock. He's like, I'm antsy. I need to get out. I need to move my body. Think about it. I went from being a PE teacher and being really active all day to being at home all day. Yeah. That's a big difference. If I felt like I wanted to work out, I would just play with my PE classes. It's really good though. One more bite. He ate half of it. Look at him. No I didn't. It's all about the angle you're showing. On to the next. So we are at Wendy's and I don't really understand what we're getting here. So this isn't necessarily a fall item, but it's a limited edition item. And so they have a Wednesday collaboration. If you guys saw what's on this little board right here that I'm looking at, it literally says meal of misfortune. Yes. Featuring dips of dread, mystery sauces. That's what we're gonna get. That doesn't sound like something you would want to go get. Is it gonna tell us what it is up here or what? I don't know. Rest in 10 pieces. Dips of dread. I'm dead. This is so funny. Cursed and crispy fries. Are you really gonna eat cursed and crispy fries? We're gonna bless it. And we're gonna say in Jesus name, we take away that curse. Welcome to Wendy's. May I take your order? The one thing that I'm really sad that we didn't do in time is, do you guys remember when there was like Krispy Kreme had their Harry Potter donuts where you could bite into it and know what house you were in? It's like a Harry Potter theme. You saw that one video, the short that we posted a while back. Unfortunately, Aspen is a Voldemort. How do you say that? No, not a Voldemort. That's the name that shall never be named. Oh my gosh, dude. I'm bad with Harry Potter stuff. Slytherin. Slytherin, my goodness. How did I not know that? I honestly think that I might be a Slytherin. Oh, you maybe should have told me that before we got married. I feel like it's such a Slytherin thing to not tell you. That is a very Slytherin thing of you to do. Thank you. Look at that. Dude, this is hilarious. It literally looks like blood. Babe, I'm gonna, what if this is some sort of sweet and sour something? I'm scared. Do I just take a whole bite? Just take a whole bite. It smells like balsamic vinegar. I don't know what that is. It's spicy. It's spicy? Let me try. It's so creepy. It's spicy. Whatever it is. You're about to get hit with a level of spice. Oh my gosh, are they all like that? I have no idea what that is. Oh, it's so- Wait, before I eat the fries, Lord, we pray a blessing over these fries. They are not cursed anymore in the name of Jesus and neither are any of the fries inside of Wendy's. Yeah, it does have a little kick to it. I don't know. I wouldn't say it's bad though. It's not good. It's not my thing. All I know is that Courtney is hungry, so Courtney's gonna eat. This is like, it's fun. It's festive. We're super festive. We're Halloweeners. I started this video uncaffeinated and now I'm both caffeinated and I think I have a little bit of a sugar high. Fully expecting a sugar crash later. Wait, this is delicious. This is solid too. I'm more looking forward to that. I can taste like the spice. Like there's like a spice to it. And let's take this before you eat too much a bit because I want a bite. That's a good donut. Oh! I'm good. It hit me. It was like I took a sip, I was like, oh yeah. La la la. And then I was like. Not really. Wait, what hit you? The, all of it. The taste. That's not my, that's not my thing. Oh yeah, oh. It's the aftertaste. At first you're just like, oh milk, la de da. And then all of a sudden it's just like not. Sorry, we had to move spots, but we are back. This is so good. It's like a pumpkin. I mean, you guys know. I feel like every single year they have the pumpkin donuts. I think it's solid. I think I prefer pumpkin muffin or pumpkin cookie over a donut. Which one was a muffin, right? I think I prefer that a little bit. But also those usually have cream cheese, like some type of frosting. And I think that makes it a little bit better. The last place that we're gonna go is Chick-fil-A. I know that they have some sort of pretzel bun that's new for the season. But I don't know, like I don't know if they have anything else that's like fall related. We were also potentially gonna hit Krispy Kreme. But guys, like I think, I think we've kind of like maxed out a little. Yeah. This is like a lot. I'm already feeling the effects of all the sugar. All right, let's talk about Halloween. What do you want to be for Halloween this year? I want to be a fairy. Interesting. I'm just kidding. I don't know. I have no idea. Whatever it is, whatever it is, I want it to be like something that goes with you and Aspen. Aw. You know, like I don't want to go solo on something. Okay. So what's something that us two and her, like you know, and it just like correlates. That'd be cool. Like I put it on my Instagram story, asking people for some ideas. Yeah. There were some decent ones. I could be Peter Pan. You could be Wendy and then her Tinkerbell. Oh my God. And then if you've ever watched Monsters, Inc., one of us would be Mike and one of us be Sully and then she would be the little girl Boo. Oh, I love that. That'd be so cute. Those are my two favorite ideas. I think there were a couple other ones in there too. But also if we dress up, like we're not going trick or treating with her either. Like she's nine months old. Yeah. She's not going to have any idea what's going on. She's not eating any of the candy. I don't need more candy. I feel like a kid shouldn't go trick or treating unless they can physically pick up the candy themselves. Yes, I agree. And obviously eat it too. Halloween's just like never really been like a holiday that I enjoy. Mostly because there's like a ton of gore. Skeletons, like all that stuff. And like scary stuff. That's just like not really my vibe. We don't celebrate death in this household. We celebrate life. Yeah. Can we please get one of those pretzel- Pretzel cheddar club meal? Yes, please. You want the meal? Just the sandwich actually, please. Okay. Let's give this pretzel burger a try here. A PC club grilled. PC pretzel chicken club. Pretzel chicken club grilled sandwich. I thought that it was going to be a little bit thicker. Actually. That's pretty thin for a burger bun. Oh my gosh. That's actually so thin. I dripped some sauce. Oh my goodness. Just came out from underneath this thing. My poor car. This is my vehicle. Honestly, ever since we got this car, we've mostly just drive this one. Guys, I'm a Honda gal. Like I will drive Hondas probably for the rest of my life. Like kids will drive Hondas. Your next car will probably be a Honda truck. Do they, yeah, they make pickups? No? I really want a pickup because there's just been so many times where I'm like, man, I wish I had a pickup to haul leaves or pick up a mirror, stuff like that. I thought it was solid. I mean, a Chick-fil-A grilled sandwich is good the way it is. All right. Is this even a pretzel? It just tastes like a bun with something that looks like a pretzel top. Yeah, a little bit. Could also be like an undercooked pretzel cut in half. So that like one half is on the top and one half is on the bottom, which is why I think I was expecting it bigger. Like I almost, for some reason, thought that like the top was going to be like a full pretzel. Bottom was a full pretzel, but it's half. It's good though. I love these sandwiches in general. But like the bottom just, again, just looks like a normal hamburger bottom. I think I would still prefer just a regular bun, personally. If this had the type of cheese that you dip pretzels into, I kid you not, 10 out of 10. I would have loved that. What a missed opportunity. Chick-fil-A, I'm letting you know right now, get the cheese sauce that you dip this in. That would be unbelievable. I love pretzels with cheese. Overall, I thought it was decent. Not the best thing ever, but we'll take it. I know, like Chick-fil-A, where's your fall stuff? We're waiting. Yeah, we went. We didn't have to wait very long. You guys were pretty good at getting people through the line, so we appreciate that. They're a master. But that was it for us trying our fast food items. I know we definitely could have went to like a couple other places. Like we looked at like Krispy Kreme and like Crumble or even like McDonald's and they didn't have a ton.
