here man uh it's been a hot little
minute since I've uploaded on the
channel uh so I figured let's go ahead
and get it
um this is a follow-up from a video that
I did a while back man
um
y'all know I got two alternators uh for
the Chevy Tahoe uh for the 2023 build
now uh initially when down for sound had
sent me the bracket they sent me for
like a 07 and up Tahoe and I don't have
an 07 I got a 06. uh so they missed it
by one year uh now when I did get this
in
it's been a long time since I got this
in so clearly y'all seen I did open it
uh to make sure that it was the correct
part and whatnot uh so it is but let's
just go ahead and get that on there
and it comes with a little instruction
sheet that's
all beat up and whatnot man but
nevertheless
um

uh GM dual alternator kit I don't know
why they put that on there man
I I haven't necessarily checked the
years or whatnot man but I just know
um the Tahoes from like
99 forward I guess the older years were
like the Box shapes uh dude you got the
2006 or kind of like the round bodies
um and then the 07 moving forward is
like the futuristic mixture of a round
box I don't know whichever way you want
to look at it uh but at the end of the
day I know I got a 2006
uh Chevy Tahoe and that's all I'm
worried about is making sure that things
are right for my build
and the way of the future everything get
packed with paper nowadays
but yeah so if you've been following my
channel for a minute man
um three years ago now 2020 pandemic the
whole nine uh but I had the white uh
Chevy Tahoe with the Dual alternator
bracket from GP car audio and I had
ordered that because on the website it
looked like the GP logo was like etched
into the um into the bracket and it
wasn't uh down for sound definitely has
done that
uh and then it comes with the belt this
is a Napa belt holder so shout out to
them for that uh hope they hopefully it
works uh if so we definitely will be
using that uh but like I said man I did
pull this thing out uh when I first got
it to make sure that she was good to go
and
get all the wind chimes out the way
because she is uh so let me throw this
box out of there
all right so now what y'all see in front
of you so yes uh so this is the Dual
alternator bracket that I was looking
for uh to make sure that I had it for my
06 Chevy Tahoe and yes that down for
sound is down uh etched into the the
bracket in the whole nine man so
just doing a quick one uh wanted to put
some content up on the channel I got
quite a few things going on around here
that I need to get to uh once I do that
uh definitely do follow up videos and
things like that man so uh just a quick
