A Famous Historical and Cultural Town in China - Liye Town, Longshan County, Xiangxi , Hunan

As early as 6000 years ago, humans were living in the vicinity of Liye Town. During the Qin Dynasty, it served as the seat of Dongting County. In June 2002, a significant discovery was made: over 37,400 Qin bamboo slips, also known as the Liye Qin Bamboo Slips, were unearthed from a massive ancient well in the ancient city of Liye. This batch of Qin bamboo slips significantly surpasses the total number of those previously discovered, filling a historical void in the Qin Dynasty.
