First Time SOLO Motorcycle Camping in the Wild: Dispersed Moto Camping on my Africa Twin by Myself
I've gone solo moto camping before, and I've dispersed motorcycle camped before...but I've never camped off of my motorcycle by myself in the wild before. Join me as I learn to navigate the challenges of being alone in the woods solo camping off of my Honda Africa Twin for the very first time. Moto camping alone has a ton of advantages: solitude, peace and quiet, the ability to come and go as you please, etc...but it also has a few disadvantages like having to do all the work of gathering and processing firewood on your own and not having anyone to talk to around the campfire. The other big disadvantage to motorcycle camping alone is the anxiety that comes with being far off the beaten path deep in the wilderness all by yourself. Anxiety and paranoia are heightened when solo camping, and that's something I explore and talk through a bit in this video as well. Thank you for joining me on this motocamping trip. I hope you enjoy hanging out with me as I spend my first night alone in the woods. I'm also testing out some brand new gear on this trip, in particular my new Big Agnes Diamond Park 30 sleeping bag. I love this sleeping bag setup with the top quilt and integrated sleeping pad design. My first night's sleep Big Agnes Diamond Park 30 review? Maybe the best, most comfortable sleeping bag I've ever used.
