Elon Musk Declared Starship Flight 11 to make History after Huge Upgrade on Ship 38...
If Starship Flight 10 was already a victory, then Flight 11 could redefine what triumph really means. The data collected from pushing Ship 37 to its limits on the last flight, has enabled SpaceX to fine-tune Ship 38, from internal structure and flight controls to its upgraded heat shield, making it capable of achieving even bigger goals on the final launch of Starship Block 2.
So what ambitious goals has SpaceX set for this flight?
Let’s dive into today’s episode of Alpha Tech.

It’s been almost a month, yet the excitement of Starship Flight 10 still lingers. From launching eight Starlink satellites one after another, to braving the fiery plasma of reentry, and even surviving with damaged aft flaps to pull off a flawless ocean splashdown, this was a monumental leap forward, unlike anything SpaceX has ever done with Starship.
And now, all of that might soon be overshadowed by Starship Flight 11, just around two weeks away. But before we dive into why this mission could be truly extraordinary, let’s catch up on the latest preparations.

After the static fire was aborted on the 18th, the SpaceX team worked overnight to get things back on track. They disconnected all the cryogenic hoses from the SQD plate, removed the plate itself, made the necessary repairs, and then reinstalled everything, both the plate and the hoses. It was a nonstop effort to keep preparations for Flight 11 moving forward.
By the following morning, SpaceX pushed ahead with another road closure to resume testing. This time, propellant loading progressed further, with frost steadily creeping up Ship 38’s stainless-steel hull, a clear sign that fueling was underway. Yet after reaching only about a quarter of its planned load, the operation was suddenly aborted once again. Propellant was fully offloaded, and soon after, Mechazilla’s massive chopsticks lowered around the vehicle.
