I am Michael Cox, a dedicated special education teacher, proud union member, and lifelong community advocate running to represent District 13 in the Orange County Legislature.

I am stepping up to bring real change to a system that has been closed off for too long. Our local government should serve the people, not a network of insiders. The continued practice of hiring family and friends over well-qualified candidates is not just unfair; it undermines trust, shuts out talent, and opens the door to costly lawsuits and ethical conflicts.
