Our Morocco Adventure: Luxury Riad Tour & Traditional Moroccan Breakfast ✨🇲🇦
One of the things we were most excited about in Marrakech was staying in a real luxury riad. A riad is a traditional Moroccan house built around a courtyard 🌿. The moment we stepped inside, we were amazed by the colorful tiles, carved wooden doors, and the peaceful fountain in the center. Walking through the corridors felt like stepping back in time ⏳.
Our room was beautifully decorated with Moroccan lamps, hand-carved furniture, and soft carpets 🛏️. Just outside the window, we could see a little garden filled with birdsong. The atmosphere was calm and magical — nothing like a busy hotel.
The next morning came the highlight: an authentic Moroccan breakfast 🥞🍯. The table was full of delicious items — msemen (a layered Moroccan pancake), baghrir (honeycomb pancakes), fresh dates, olives, cheese, butter, honey, and of course the famous sweet mint tea 🍵🌱. Every bite had its own unique flavor, and the baghrir with honey was simply unforgettable.
After breakfast, we went up to the rooftop terrace 🌇. From there, we saw the entire Marrakech skyline — red-colored houses, mosque minarets, and the majestic Atlas Mountains in the distance ⛰️. Sitting with a hot cup of tea and watching the city wake up was a moment we’ll always remember.
What made the experience even more special was the hospitality 💕. Every staff member greeted us warmly and made us feel at home.
Overall, this luxury riad tour and tasting a traditional Moroccan breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. If you ever visit Morocco, spending at least one night in a riad and enjoying breakfast there is a must 🕌🍽️. It’s not just accommodation, it’s a cultural experience! 🌍✨
