• 1 cup + 2 tbsp (6¼ oz/177 g) dark brown sugar
• 1 cup (8 oz/225 g) butter, melted• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 cup (5 oz/142 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 cup (4 oz/115 g) unsweetened cocoa powder

Blondie Batter
• 1 cup (8 oz/225 g) butter, melted & cooled
• 2 cups (12 oz/340 g) dark brown sugar
• 2 large eggs (room temperature)
• 1 tbsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 cups (10 oz/284 g) all-purpose flour
• ½ cup (3 oz/85 g) butterscotch chips + ¼ cup (1½ oz/43 g) for topping
