In this teaching, discover how the God-kind of faith can move mountains, receive healing, and bring wholeness to your life. If you’re believing God for healing, this message will show you how to stand on His Word, activate your faith, and receive your miracle.
For those of you that might be seeking healing for your bodies,
I want you to know today that God has a plan for you to be well.
He not only wants you to receive healing, but He wants you to live your life in wholeness and health.
And you know, there are many people in our world today that would dispute that truth.
I call it good news.
But some people, they just don't think it's good news because they don't think it actually
is the truth.
But I have shown you repeatedly from past messages that God's Word promises healing
to those that will believe it and receive it.
But just in case you're one of those that believes that maybe healing is not for today,
I have a question for you.
Do you believe that perhaps faith has passed away and is no longer for today?
I want you to know, absolutely not.
Faith has not passed away.
And as long as we still have need of faith, as long as faith is not passed away,
then we can still receive healing from the Word of God.
Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 3 says this,
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God,
so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Now we know this about faith.
God uses faith.
Jesus uses faith.
And God wants us to use faith.
People that are believers in Jesus Christ, they know this,
they cannot be saved apart from faith.
So faith is vital.
Faith still exists.
And God still wants us to use our faith.
Now based on Hebrews 11, 3 here, we find out or we understand what faith is actually for.
Faith, according to this verse, is for taking things that are not yet visible
and bringing them into the seen realm or the visible realm.
Now we know this, that God used faith,
because this verse tells us that God created the world
by what he believed in his heart and by using his own word.
Again, let me go back and look at this.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God.
In other words, everything you can see today in our world is here.
Now not the evil, but the world itself,
the mountains, the valleys, the water, the oceans, the trees, the flowers,
all of mankind is here because it was framed by the Word of God.
It says things that were not seen became visible because of the Word of God.
So we see this, that God creates by speaking his word or the word of faith.
He said, let there be in Genesis 1, and there was.
So God had faith that his own words would work.
He had faith that his words would come to pass.
We call this the God kind of faith.
Now we know from the scriptures that Jesus had faith in his own words as well.
And we're going to look at Mark chapter 11 and verse 12.
And it says, now the next day when they had come out from Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves,
he went to see if perhaps he would find something on it.
When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves,
for it was not the season for figs.
In response, Jesus said to it, let no one eat fruit from you ever again.
And the disciples heard it.
Now why would Jesus speak to a fig tree that didn't have fruit?
You know, he was never in the business of wasting his words or wasting his time.
But we know this, that he was trying to demonstrate the God kind of faith.
Now when we go down to verse 20, it says, now in the morning as they passed by,
they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
And Peter, remembering, said to him, Rabbi, look,
the fig tree which you cursed has withered away.
So Jesus answered and said to them, have faith in God.
Now, not only did we see that God uses this kind of faith,
but now we see that Jesus used this kind of faith.
And now he is giving us, really he gave the disciples,
but he's giving us an illustration or a lesson in how this faith works.
You know, the literal meaning in the Greek of have faith in God
should be have the God kind of faith.
So he's not just saying trust in God,
he's saying you have the same kind of faith that God has.
You have the same kind of faith that I just exhibited in front of you.
And he used the fig tree to demonstrate that he had this kind of faith.
Now, here's how it works in verse 23.
He said, for assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain.
Now, notice he's not using the fig tree any longer as the illustration.
And I believe this is critically important
because there is no doubt somebody who would eventually say,
well, this faith only works for fig trees.
So, and you think I'm kidding, but I've been in the ministry long enough
and heard enough to know this would be the case.
And so he says, no, whoever says to this mountain.
So he switches to another item and he says,
be removed and be cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart,
but believes that those things he says will be done.
He will have whatever he says.
Do you know things you say are words?
Words are important.
And we demonstrate that we have the God kind of faith
the same way that God and Jesus demonstrated it.
We demonstrate it by believing in our hearts
and by saying with our mouths, what we believe in our hearts.
And it comes to pass.
In other words, we have to believe that our own faith in God will work.
Just like God believed in his words, just like Jesus believed it would work for him.
You too have to believe that your faith will work for you.
Now we're not talking about a natural human type of faith
that for instance, believes if I sit in that chair, it's going to hold me up.
No, that's human confidence.
We're talking about faith in God,
faith in God's word that it will come to pass if we believe in and say it.
This is exactly how the woman with the issue of blood was healed.
And we're going to look at that right now in Mark chapter five in verse 25,
starting in verse 25.
It says now a certain woman had a flow of blood for 12 years
and had suffered many things from many physicians.
She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
So this part of the story is giving us the description of just how hopeless this woman's
situation was.
You know, many times we face conditions in life that seem hopeless.
Maybe you're watching today and you have a hopeless situation.
Maybe the doctors have given you a diagnosis that says there's no hope for you.
I want you to know there was no hope for this woman naturally.
She tried everything possible.
Nothing worked.
But yet, verse 27, when she heard about Jesus, she came behind him in the crowd
and touched his garment.
Now this verse tells us that she first heard about Jesus.
This is important because nobody can respond in faith to what God says without first hearing it.
You know, Romans 10, 17 says, so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
And so I'm believing my prayer today is that what you're hearing is going to cause faith
to rise in your heart so that you too can receive by your own faith.
Then verse 28 says, for she said, if only I may touch his clothes, I shall be made well.
Now in the Greek, the literal translation of for she said is she kept saying.
In other words, this was a continual process.
She kept saying that she believed she would be healed if she touched the hem of Jesus' garment.
She kept saying, she kept saying what she believed.
And this is critical in order to receive.
Now remember, we saw that in Mark 11, 23.
Now let's look at verse 29 of Mark 5.
It says, immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up
and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that power had gone out of him,
he turned around in the crowd and said, who touched my clothes?
You see, Jesus, he knew someone touched him, but he didn't know who.
So some say, yeah, but Jesus healed the woman.
Well, it's true that God's power went out of him into the woman,
but he didn't intentionally do this.
So if it was always just God intentionally touching somebody
or Jesus intentionally finding someone in the crowd,
he would have known who it was.
And I'm bringing that point out for a reason,
because we see here later why she received.
But his disciples said to him, you see the multitude thronging you
and you say, who touched me?
In other words, hundreds of people are trying to touch you.
But he looked around to see her who had done this.
And the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her,
came and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.
Now look at this, verse 34.
He said to her, daughter, your faith has made you well.
Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.
Notice here, Jesus didn't say, daughter, my power has made you well.
I mean, certainly it required the power of God for her to be healed.
And it's going to require God's power for us to be healed.
So that is part of the equation.
But the power was activated by the woman's faith.
Now remember, I started out this video saying,
have you ever heard of faith being done away with?
No, certainly faith has not been done away with.
If this woman could receive her healing by her own faith,
then I want you to know today that you can receive your healing by your own faith.
Now, the blind men are another example where faith made them whole.
So we're going to look at Matthew chapter 9 and verse 27.
It says, when Jesus departed from there,
two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, son of David, have mercy on us.
And when he had come into the house, the blind men came to him.
And Jesus said to them, do you believe that I'm able to do this?
Now notice it wasn't just contingent on whether Jesus could do it.
Certainly he could.
Certainly he had healing power.
But Jesus is asking these men, do you believe that I'm able to do this?
And they said to him, yes, Lord.
That was the correct answer.
Then he touched their eyes saying, according to your faith,
let it be to you.
And their eyes were opened.
Now I want you to notice again, Jesus didn't say my power has made you well.
He said, according to your faith, your eyes have been opened.
And again, if these blind men could receive their healing by their own faith,
then you too today can receive your healing by your own faith.
I want to encourage you today.
Start speaking to your mountain instead of talking about your mountain,
meaning the negative circumstances, the negative symptoms in your body.
Quit talking about how you're suffering and how it's impossible
and start saying what God says about your situation.
Start releasing your faith for your healing.
If God could create the worlds through his faith,
if Jesus demonstrated faith by cursing the fig tree,
and then he turned around and taught us that we could use the same faith,
then you can use your faith today to receive your healing.
All you have to do is start believing the right thing in your heart
and start saying it out of your mouth.
Instead of talking about the problem and the symptoms,
start talking about how healed you are.
Because 1 Peter 2, 24 says, by whose stripes you were healed.
And when you get an agreement with God and you start using the God kind of faith,
it will produce every time.
Jesus said so.
He said it will come to pass and it'll come to pass for you as well.
Well, I want you to know today is your day of victory.
Please don't turn off this video today feeling hopeless,
but we want you to be encouraged that God's word works for you
just as much as it does for anybody else
because God is not a respecter of persons.
He loves you.
He wants you well.
He's bringing this good word into your life today so that you can receive your healing.
So make a decision today that you're going to be a doer of the word and not a hearer only.
Also, I want you to know we have a healing booklet available for you.
It's called What the Bible Says About Healing
and that will help you to meditate and to get the word in your heart in abundance
so that you can release your faith.
There's a download of that available for free.
If you click the QR code or go into our comment section, you'll find that information.
Until next time, please remember that God is a great plan for your life
and it's so much bigger than you know.
God bless you.
