Are FILIPINOS actually FRIENDLY? Street Experiment in the PHILIPPINES

in this video i'm going to show you guys if filipinos are actually friendly hi you guys uh hey see this guy's already friendly what's your name what's your name see smiles straight away what are you host Nelly so happy to see your smiling faces again today we are going to talk about are filipinos really friendly like what's the deal with the philippines why is everybody so joyful and smiley and just nice right because the other side of the world is just like complaining and just you know putting negative thoughts into the world and like you have keyboard warriors and whatnot and like you i just want to see what this video is about because i have lived in the philippines for a very long time traveled to almost 50 provinces or over 50 provinces i say it myself and i felt it and yeah i just want to see what this video has to say about the friendliness of the filipinos shall we excuse me are you recording vlogging hey hi whoa hi you guys uh you live here uh i live abroad yeah no i'm kidding oh i don't know but he looks like a playboy to me hello and welcome back to living abroad in this video i'm going to show you guys if filipinos are actually friendly now i got this idea because somebody left a comment in the last video saying oh these street interviews are scripted or they're planned out okay all those random things i don't mind people talking smack about me but don't talk bad about the filipinos or the people on my channel that i interviewed but trust me they don't have to be there and they're all authentic spontaneous whatever so in this video i'm going to try to talk to some random filipinos and see if they're actually as friendly as everybody says here we go oh and if you're new to the channel hit the subscribe button hit that like button let's get out there uh the idea is to try to interact with as many locals as i can and tell you guys exactly do the same for my channel please across the street here from my apartment i depart across the street it could be a whole mission by itself i want to test if i can make it across without getting hit so be careful i'm gonna go in **** not a good idea let's go further down the trick is to wait for a car that is turning and go with a group of people numbers not a good time to make moves these guys they seem like that's a good time to go that's an experience crossing the road i have to do a whole over here you could just uh basically check out some cafes restaurants and this little area that i played basketball last time it's a little uh barangay i don't even call this like a road wow that compared to you guys you're like 10 years younger than me though so no life starts at 40 you don't have to yes that's true okay you know it'll be funny if this wasn't recording the whole time but it that we can follow you too yeah yeah for sure okay there you go a perfect example of two people with a simple question of where's metro and obviously i know where metro is but like uh they don't know that i just want to interact with them to give you guys how friendly filipinos are um yeah so let's continue with this mission of testing to see if interacting with local filipinos is convenient and um dare i say easy approachable people are so so friendly as long as you're respectful though you gotta maintain very respectful yeah most of the times you will experience that excuse me do you know where chat time is yeah there that way yeah he loves talking to the girls hopefully i'm fine thank you so much i appreciate it so as you can see even though she was in a hurry it seemed like she still helped me out and you have to read the room as well right so some people are in a hurry maybe they don't want to be on camera i asked her afterwards it was okay to record or at least upload that video she said it's fine um because i don't want to put anybody on here that i don't have any permission oh that's very respectful as well to just interact with i don't know what else to ask but to like ask for locations or directions or just any reason to i see a dog let's see if the dogs in the philippines are just as friendly he's a little shy i think you know oh but he's smiling though this microphone i know you like the dead cat but see he's friendly too see ya i can already see the comments people like watch out for the rabies the dog's friendly too anyways let's keep going check out this puppy oh just had his afternoon nap eventually i want to try to do something with the straight dogs in the philippines if i stay here long enough and make some good enough connections so watch out for that to come on the channel because i love dogs look at him oh okay so if you just in case want to do something for the dogs my friend zoe who is also a content creator has her own dog shelter it's called markada it will pop up right here she's doing a great job educating about you know how to save dogs and like how to get the population under control and yeah just shares the rescue dogs and adoption and whatnot so definitely give it a follow excuse me excuse are you girls medical students are you medical students no okay so i thought you guys were like university or something you little bit of the main street here um yeah i usually go the other way but this is the main road i'll walk you through there a lot of street food of course the traffic here i used to rent to that place avenue and the waterfront hotel is right behind as you can see maybe over there a little bit just a casual filipino thing just having lunch next to the road from street food oh takoyaki nice the funny thing is i do have to go to metro to pick up some meat some vegetables and my favorite which are dried mangoes right so i'm gonna end the video here guys that was a quick experiment a 10-minute walk from my place to just it park and show you guys some interaction with locals you know it's one thing to say bad things about me but to just you know spread lies and misinformation it's a whole different thing you know all i do is ask them don't say bad things about filipinos okay my videos i'll come after you put them on the channel and that's it guys so leave your comments down below let right that was a great street experiment i filmed several videos in the philippines had so many encounters with people and i can definitely say that i agree with him filipinos are the most friendliest in the world i've been to so many countries and i remember also coming to thailand and i was like oh my god the people here are so friendly and so kind but then i came to the philippines and it's just like they were just going above and beyond they're just very hospitable they're very inclusive very smiley joyful they keep their little heart happy as much as they can and i love it don't forget to smile for those of you who live in a country where people don't smile that much be the one who smiles i've always tried to smile so that people feel my energy and feel comfortable around me spread
