What English People Think Of Filipino People!

the people here though in general filipino people [Music] [Music] baby why can't you good morning guys welcome to another daily juice it's ten weeks today actually it's left the uk ten weeks congratulations we've survived so far we're doing all right we've done all right on the daily vlogs we've been daily vlogging every single day since we left and for a few days before we left i swear yeah i don't know what really we should be on a longer number because we don't vlog for a bit but we've started this video with a lie because it is not actually the morning our plans today was to get out early and then come back and sort out all our stuff this afternoon and then go out for dinner however we were sat at breakfast and the heavens opened and it really really really rained and it hasn't really stopped until now torrential rain it was so so heavy yeah it wasn't great so we thought let's wait we know the sun will come out and it has so we instead had a very very i don't want to say stressful looking slightly stressful we basically spent all morning booking flights we i think we like i actually feel a bit sick with how much money we just spent normally we do this like a week before we book a next flight and we don't really notice it maybe like 50 to 100 pounds at a time this was like a big chunk i think we booked five flights five flights all in one go because we were fed up with like not knowing um and like obviously the problem we had when we came here and not having it on with flight book we didn't want that to happen again so we've made sure that we're going to be on top of it now although we don't know what we're doing in these places we'll have any accommodation or transfers between different cities at least we have flights but the good news is we are now planned all the way past christmas no we're not well pretty much to the beginning of december we literally had both max open and you know we try and get a cheap flight and oh [ __ ] hell that let me jump with a dog out of my foot hello doggy a lot of the dogs the dogs fight here we've noticed loads of like scratches but they fight each other like they're really badly i don't know why yes we had like both max open trying to find the best possible and cheapest uh way to get around because we kind of said we're gonna go here here and here and we were trying to say like how about a to b now let's do a to d and then to b and then oh hang on if we have to have add baggage to it baggage is a nightmare you add baggage to a flight it's like oh 20 pound flight 20 pound each baggage as well so it doubles the price of the flight so it it can be i'm and you want to get the best option the even better news is that we've come out for a burger persuaded lucy to let us get burgers today so that's good well actually only because the thai place we're going to go to wasn't serving food for another 10 minutes and we're impatient so that's very true actually but check this out if they look anything like well you've already seen this sign but if they look anything like this photo here then i think we're in for a bit of a treat our burgers are being cooked in this grill okay this looks amazing [Music] [Applause] [Music] ah [Music] oh that's amazing oh that's incredible tastes like a proper bbq burger so exciting announcement this is our last day in el nido we're going to quran tomorrow which is supposed to be really really cool i remember now because you said you were saying it's a bit quieter than here bit less it's meant to be like um just like just as beautiful when you go on the tours on the island tours and stuff but apparently it's less um built up so like less restaurants and shops less of a nightlife but more like peaceful and his own little charm to it hopefully we just had to get some cash out as i'm feeling i'm feeling even more a little bit yeah there's no atm on quran basically so we had to make sure we had enough cash for the next four or five days that we're there and we always want to get out too much and then otherwise we're like stuff on an island without caffeine yeah yeah and we can always change it up at airports i don't know suddenly got very busy like i was about to say it's been really peaceful and stuff but there's like suddenly cars everywhere um we hopped in a tricycle and we are off to zip line across the beach it's funny how these days can take a turn just before sunset we thought they're squeezing an activity lucy suddenly said george you're wearing your hat that's not going to work is it lighting it sounds like crap the tricycle was already here so i quickly gave my hat to the girl at the hotel i was like can you look after this she started laughing and wearing it and stuff so hopefully that's gonna be looked after so i'm gonna have to deal with some crazy hair looks really cool though i think it's quite a long zip line and it goes from like the forest bit behind the beach to like a little island [Laughter] [Music] [Music] okay so it's quite a steep walk up here here we go hopefully it's quicker coming down on the zip line that is really steep i was thinking to myself earlier we got to stop eating burgers pizza and ice cream oh and exercise a little bit more thank you and this is um definitely one way to do it someone's trying to drive up here that's impossible [Music] i actually speak i've got a girl i've had a sit line that was tough that was steep because i'll drive again it's like speeding ahead and we're behind that feeling really unfair that's not good from seeing the view and seeing the sun behind us i'm pretty sure it's gonna be better so sitting mom or superman one way so if you will take one's way sitting so you will walk back in the sun bar yep superman yes please yes it will be one thousand four hundred for both of you might put your country in the other small countries this course uh you can do superman when you're on your front or you can just do like normal sitting uh we've obviously gone for superman because we're here once in a lifetime i'm slightly nervous because when we did the ziplining in thailand if you if you're watching the vlogs a couple of months ago you got stuck but also the one where you had to jump off i couldn't do it i had to like oh yeah slowly push myself just run and jump so i think with superman you're probably just gonna have to just go run and jump for sure um but yes there's a superman cost 700 which is about 10 pounds which is 10 pounds and then it was i think 500 if you just want to sit but it's not too much for the difference and i think it'll be whenever you sit on one you're kind of like spinning around loads but i guess superman it'll be nice because you're just facing forward let's quickly show you the view a little sneak preview what we're going to be flying through wow see it just about over there looks so cool i think we picked a really nice time of day we were a bit while we went too late yeah it's a nice little sunset cruise you know yeah and this guy gives you enough pieces all the fields right now he's zip-lined 20 times today already oh bless them loads of dogs and all seriousness the amount of burgers and pizza we've eaten this week i'm not sure we're going to be allowed on it's a joke we'll be fine that's nice ice cream pancake last night [Music] don't look too sure there george we're very cool very good that was the best diploma i've ever done yeah so good like looking down all that i hope it looked as good on here as it did with my own eyes amazing this is just as steep down as it was up obviously these steps make no sense that like it's impossible to walk down well i'm actually buzzing now the adrenaline that was so good that is a nightmare to get down look how deep these steps are and they're kind of made of mud we just did a zip line over here over the beach and over all these mountains and palm trees and it's absolutely insane we've obviously filmed it all so tomorrow night's vlog we're going to show you but it was so so cool we just did that that was really cool like that was such a cool feeling like looking down and seeing like i don't know what it is but something about palm trees from above this looks so cool as they go down like little winding roads these little houses where people live along here along the beachfront and then going over the water and then seeing this little hut thing that you come into around all these trees i'm so glad we did this me too i was a huge superman fan in my childhood so i had a little moment there won't lie okay so we've now got this walk back through um it looked quite far when we were up there looking down on it but if you compare like this place to say when we did flight at the gibbons in chiang mai that was like a real structured thing and like everywhere you walk there was like signs saying this way here it's like yeah when you're done climb down them steps and just walk back across the beach and uh your drive will be waiting here for you but it's one of them exits up there it's so vague but it works perfectly we're literally climbing over all these little rocks now to get back my shoes are pretty slippy but that's so good [Music] bless our driver as well we didn't expect him they basically said wait we thought he'd like to stop at the road we'd walk in up the hill ourselves we'd like meet him after somewhere literally he climbed up the massive massive steps of us helped us buy the ticket he waited for us to go so we knew we'd actually left and now he's waiting for us uh on the other side here gave us his phone number do you regret do you regret wearing trainers now yeah this is going to take me a little while this is literally like closed off now it's crazy i wonder if it gets really deep okay definitely lost that woman told us to go into some village but that goes back up to ziplining we need to get to the road and now we're like walking along the little part of the beach it's really nice here anyway though to be honest it's nice to see the side of it but um i don't really know how but where i'll drive around walking through some like looks like it's going to be a resort unfinished resort like there's a water feature in here that's not done there's like all boarded up things here where the windows are going to be and loads of like scaffolding i don't know where we're going it's getting dark random very random oh well our guy's like seen us starts like running and waving and then runs across the road and he's like wait there i'll go get the bike and i'll come and pick you up so kind like these people are so nice just heading out and dinner we've kind of crashed both of us we've just gotten really tired so we dragged us out back for some dinner and we need to get back and do the vlog but we've got to get up at half all tomorrow morning so we've got friday to catch at six we've got to get there early and walk there it's our last night here i'm sad i don't want to leave here it's nice hi coffee the people here are so nice that's so funny she's just like lying under reception with her leg up like that um on her phone just chilling they work really long hours here we were chatting to the girl here a lot um earlier on and she's so nice she's super sweet she is she said 18 or 19 she's okay she works from like 6 a.m till well it's late now and she's still like it's technically at work she said she lives about three hours away in a place called tai tai she lives there but she's from yeah she's from there she only goes home her contracts a year and she doesn't go home for that whole time she lives at that place no thank you she lives at that place uh she lives at the guest house works every single day doesn't have a day off she goes to church on sunday and she's she's been so nice to us we've had a great chat with her the people here though in general filipino people have been so so friendly to us we absolutely love it it's just so nice we're friendly people but we feel like they offer the friendliness first which doesn't happen in england and a lot of people um we've seen a lot of tourists from other places some england some like other european places some like american whatever any any place like someone we're very polite we think but we're always thinking yeah some people are like so rude and they're always like oh we always find like like smile afterwards and stuff definitely because we feel bad they're just so polite it's not because we feel bad just because we're friendly people feel bad no no no i didn't feel bad the vapor's been like spoken to you brutally yeah yeah yeah i feel like sometimes in england and other countries if if you if you offer the friendliness first you get it back um with some people but some but if you don't it's like people on public transport in britain and stuff never you would never talk to each other walking past people in the street you would never talk to anyone else in the street it's kind of weird now we've been out here for so long you say hello to everyone it's just friendly you don't have to offer it first it the friendliness comes to you and then you can return it which is which is so cool so one of the main reasons we are loving the philippines is the people and we we heard that before we came we 100 know what they mean now thank you very much that'll do nice beach view now you can see the sea through there yeah just about oh yeah a lovely warm welcome by the people here as well even more friendliness english kids on the street throw rocks at you i'd always take like if i had a kid between really good service and okay the service can make a meal and like if you're chatting with someone and like tonight's just it just it's just a nice feeling isn't it but i'm not saying that the food's about at all we've had some amazing meals here haven't we like oh yeah it's so good and it's such a nice simple area like being able to go out at night with such a nice like little nightlife uh it's not too crazy there's not loads of drunk people everywhere at all but it's like happy hour if you want it in most places there's loads of different types of food and this is el nido if you're coming to this video for the first time this is the biggest plate of pasta i've ever seen that's crazy we both went for pasta oh you're final stop of the day is into a little shop to pick up some breakfast for tomorrow hopefully which might be in the form of oreos so cheap wait it's here two tubes oreos not bad and to get some water because you can't drink the tap water here oh no another thing we need to address uh from the comments that we saw we saw loads of comments saying you guys are missing out you need to interact with people you need to chat to the people you're missing huge thing if you're not doing this and just to reassure you we are talking to everyone we meet like we've been we've been chatting to so many local filipino people you just might not see it on the vlogs you might not see it on camera because we don't want to shove a camera in people's faces that we've just met if that makes sense how about this 10 packs of donuts i mean i'm struggling to see much helps that would work for black so this one is assorted here i was actually joking but it could be a thing just making friends everywhere we go that was so nice she's the nicest girl she's been so good to us here she's the one we were talking about earlier who works all day does everything like the gardening breakfast the rooms and she was like can we have a well like she was like a bit shy so then her friend she works with had to ask us from a picture is so sweet she wants a photo with you too oh yeah that's fine what you're the worst for this i do this right this one was open this book was open this book was open and this one was open yeah you managed to open a new one so we're gonna be drank it doesn't really matter this one's cold and fresh so all right guys thanks so much for we're off to watching we can't wait hopefully our ferry won't get cancelled because of the weather no wonder we gotta get up at four in the morning we need some sleep now make sure you're
