Let me tell you just because you believe that the Philippines is a cheap country that does not
mean that building a house is cheap. Did you know that Elon Musk is secretly building a huge
mansion in the Philippines? And also this explains why he is investing heavily in the Philippines.
The question is how much is he going to invest and how will the country benefit from it?
What's up Philippines? Long time no see. Actually not that long but you know what I mean. Welcome
back to my reaction channel where I react to videos that you suggest and about the Philippines,
about pop culture, history, economics, all of the things. Today we are reacting to a video that is
also very interesting. You guys loved the Elon Musk video that I posted a few weeks ago so I
decided to do another one because I don't know I find it very interesting that he is so invested
in the Philippines now and I want to see what he's up to so here we are. Today we are reacting to
why Elon Musk is secretly building a huge mansion in the Philippines. I don't know if he really is
because apparently he doesn't own a house but he's building a mansion in the Philippines. I'm like
I'm here for it. I want to see it. Like is this real? So yeah to find out I would say we will
jump into the video. Before we do so please subscribe, hit the notification bell if you're
new to this channel. It will help me a lot. Actually I see that a lot of you guys keep coming
back to this channel but are not subscribed yet so it's free and it will help this channel a lot.
Alright without further ado let's do this. Did you know that Elon Musk is secretly building a huge
mansion in the Philippines? The news has been hidden from the mainstream media. Ah interesting so it's
you will not find this information anywhere but if you check on the internet you will find news
about him selling his property in San Francisco. He sold his last remaining residential property
which is this castle. Why? And also this explains why he is investing heavily in the Philippines.
Let's take a look. Okay hold on just because he's investing in the Philippines that doesn't mean
that he's going to live in the Philippines. Let me just clear things up here because this guy
is just like he basically just won the election. Like he's the president basically. So he's going
to stay in the U.S. I assume but I think that he will visit the Philippines quite frequently.
Who is Elon Musk? He was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He's one of the most successful
businessmen of all time. Some facts that we already know. Musk has achieved global fame. Yes.
And the chief executive officer. Man this voice is killing me so sleepy. Tesla the private space
company SpaceX. Musk was an early investor in several tech companies. Yeah we already know that.
Wow why do we have to listen to the whole story of Elon Musk now?
Sorry I'm like I'm just assuming that people know who Elon Musk is and what he did.
Have given rise to comparisons to colorful tycoons from America. Like Steve Jobs and Henry Ford.
He was named the richest person in the world. Yeah he was giving away a lot of money during
the election in the U.S. I was like uh hi Elon I'm here too. Just send me some money.
In 1995 with 15,000 dollars and his younger brother Kimball at his side Musk started
Zip2 a web software. Wow. That would help. Oh that's BGC high street.
In 1999 Zip2 was acquired by Compaq computer corporation for 341 million dollars.
Musk used his Zip2 buyout money to create X.com. Oh interesting. Didn't know that. Okay.
Always double check facts on the internet okay. Don't believe everything that you see here either
because I do not do that many fact checks here. I'm basically just reacting to the video that
you're sending me and trying to think critically about it. Do the same.
Before eBay bought the payments company for 1.5 billion dollars. Wow this has nothing to do with
the house in the Philippines yet. Via his 11.7 paypal stake. Musk became involved with the
electric cars venture as an early investor in 2004. Wow. Contributing about six million dollars
and joined the team. I should actually really watch this in double speed. It's Tesla Motors.
Very slow. Tesla has become the world's most valuable automaker. So peaceful. Tesla maintains
a robust presence in the solar energy space. Okay. Thanks to his acquisition of solar city
the company currently produces two rechargeable solar batteries. By his own account
Musk spent 100 million dollars to found SpaceX in 2014. Imagine having that much money. I'm like
I can't even fathom the amount of money. Musk intends to grow SpaceX into the Philippines.
Oh yeah we talked about that. There's a video. He aims to provide satellite internet to businesses
and governments. Much needed. Will be the pioneer in receiving space access services. Yeah. Among
Southeast Asian. Yes. The Philippines is made up of more than 7 000 islands. Another fun fact in
this video. Making broadband coverage difficult for companies. Yeah. Around 20 tropical storms
typically hit the Philippines every year. Yeah so many typhoons. Infrastructure and cutting
communication links between islands. Yeah. SpaceX's Starlink uses a network of thousands
of satellites to provide internet access to far-flung regions or when communications are disrupted
during natural disasters. Yeah. The real reason Musk wants to invest in the Philippines is because
of cheap labor. Oh surprise. Of course cheap labor. I mean he's paying basically a lot of
to maximize his profits. Basically make more. Not just Musk. Companies in general. Of the country.
Since the political system in the Philippines is somewhat like the political system in America
where politicians are usually backed up by a group of oligarchs whose interest lies in
pressuring politicians to enact laws that benefit them. Will he do the same in the Philippines?
I mean let me just tell you something about politics. It's no news that rich people have
influence in politics and have not only money but also power. And I believe that whoever is going to
help him achieve what he wants to achieve in the Philippines is going to praise himself for bringing
such a huge like company to the Philippines and also creating jobs, creating new infrastructure,
modernizing the Philippines. I don't think that it's just bad things happening. So am I wrong?
Can also be like a lot of you know shady business but I don't believe that Elon Musk wants to do
any shady business because he has a lot to lose. That can maximize his profit and screw the country
and its people. Musk might invest in real estate. Are there advantages of his real estate investments
in the Philippines? Will they benefit the country? Let's look at the benefits. One, stimulus.
Musk's investment in Philippine real estate could inject a considerable amount of capital
into the country's economy. This influx of funds could lead to job creation.
Yeah, that's what I said. Spending and overall economic growth to the infrastructure development.
Musk's... And we're heading towards more like middle class. Real estate landscape in the
Philippines. Not like that far apart. This investment might prioritize sustainable and futuristic
infrastructure projects like eco-friendly buildings, smart cities. Yeah, hyperloop
transportation systems. Well, we're already building underground. Rapid urbanization. The
Philippines is experiencing rapid urbanization with major cities like Manila facing congestion
and housing shortages. Musk's investment could lead to the development. I don't think there's
a housing shortage in Manila because man there's like so many condos. Easing the strain on
overcrowded areas. Four, affordable housing. Musk's investment could also address the issue
of affordable housing in the Philippines. Yeah, I think that's important. Tesla has been exploring
affordable housing solutions. Yeah. Using innovative construction techniques and materials.
Yeah, I saw that. Home ownership more accessible to the Philippines. Yes, let me tell you just because
you believe that the Philippines is a cheap country that does not mean that building a house
is cheap. Especially in areas like Manila, it's like the land is crazy expensive. Like people who
have a house in Manila are considered as rich. Like literally, it's so expensive. And there are
already housing projects that are for like, you know, people who need cheaper options. But it's
just not a great quality. Like, it's just not good. Five, tech hub expansion. With Musk's investment,
there could be a surge in the development of technology hubs and innovation centers across
the Philippines. This could attract tech talent and startups, further boosting the country's
position as a regional...
Musk's projects are often a tourist attraction in themselves. For example, if you were to develop
a futuristic sustainable city or a spaceport, it could be... Spaceport? Imagine a spaceport?
But please don't build it in Palawan because we just need to preserve the nature there.
Musk has shown a commitment to sustainability, but large-scale real estate could still have significant
environmental impacts. Long-term vision. Musk is known for his long-term vision and ambitious goal.
His investment in Philippine real estate could be part of a broader strategy to establish
a lasting presence in the region, potentially leading to further investment in other sectors,
such as renewable energy or transportation. Now, let's talk about the mansion he's seeking to build.
Wow, okay. Last, but not least. Musk is expanding his vision beyond electric cars and space travel
with a bold new project in the Philippines. He has chosen a remote island known for stunning
beaches and lush landscapes as the location for his private retreat and research hub.
This island, with its beautiful and isolated setting, offers an ideal vantage point for
observing the sky and conducting experiments. Musk's mansion on the island is a blend of futuristic
design and sustainable architecture. It features advanced energy systems, including solar panels.
Yeah, I mean, if you're remote, you need solar panels. You need to be self-sustainable.
Reflecting Musk's dedication to environmental sustainability. Inside the mansion, there is a
high-tech research facility where Musk and his team work on pioneering projects in space travel,
sustainable living and advanced technologies. The facility includes experimental labs and a
space mission simulation center. The project also benefits the local community. Musk invests
in creating job opportunities and supports educational programs in science and technology.
This helps nurture the next generation of innovators in the Philippines. To keep the
project distinct and secure, the construction is carried out quietly with minimal exposure.
Only a select few are aware of the true purpose of the mansion and rumors are carefully managed
to prevent leaks. Looking ahead, Musk envisions the Philippines as a key location for a network
of research centers and possibly even a base for space missions in the Asia-Pacific region.
The mansion and its facilities are intended to play a central role in advancing technology
and exploration in this modern world. All right, I will believe it when I see it because
just because this guy is saying Musk is building a house and a facility in the Philippines without
any evidence, without any proof, zero media exposure, nobody talks about it, I'm like
really? Anyways, make me click on the video. It's no news that Elon Musk is investing in the
Philippines. We already know that. There is actually the first Tesla showroom in Manila
already. There's the first charging station that went online just like I think last week or
something like that. So there is proof that he's already investing in the Philippines. The question
is how much is he going to invest and how will the country benefit from it? Let me know in the
comment section down below what you think about it. I think it could be a really, really big step
for the Philippines to be the leader in Southeast Asia or Asia when it comes to space technology.
Yeah, it's like a huge thing and it will also bring the Philippines on the map when it comes to
doing business with the Philippines. It already is but like even more exposure worldwide. So yeah,
that was it. If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up. Also, like I said, if you
keep coming back, please feel free to subscribe because it's free and it helps me so much because
it motivates me and you know, I have a team that is very dedicated to make this very entertaining
