Soft, Thick, and Topped to Perfection!

🍪 Deep Dish Cookie Recipe

Ingredients (Base Dough)

Ingredient Grams Cups/Units
Unsalted butter (cold) 200g ¾ cup + 2 tbsp
Granulated sugar 100g ½ cup
Brown sugar 50g ¼ cup
Eggs — 2 large
Vanilla extract — 2 tsp
All-purpose flour 320g 2½ cups
Salt 2g ¼ tsp
Baking powder 6g 1½ tsp
Cornstarch 8g 1 tbsp
Chocolate chips (mixed) 100g ½ cup

Toppings (Per Cookie)

• Turtle Cookie: 4 soft caramels, 1 tsp cream, melted dark chocolate, chopped pecans
• Pistachio Cookie: 1 tbsp pistachio butter, 1 tbsp white chocolate, 1 tsp cream, chopped pistachios
• Biscoff Cookie: Biscoff spread, chopped Biscoff cookies
• Nutella Cookie: Warm Nutella, Bueno chocolate
• Cookies & Cream Cookie: Melted cookies & cream chocolate, Oreo cookie
• Peanut Butter Cookie: Melted peanut butter or peanut butter chips, Reese’s Pieces, chopped peanut butter cups

Instructions

1. Make the Dough
Beat cold butter for 1 minute. Add sugars and mix until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beat for 2 minutes.
Add flour, salt, baking powder, and cornstarch. Mix until dough forms.
Fold in chocolate chips.
2. Shape & Freeze
Divide dough into 6 balls.
Grease baking rings and press one ball into each ring.
Freeze for 30 minutes.
3. Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 14–15 minutes.
Broil for 1–2 minutes if tops aren’t golden.
Make a dent in the center while hot.
Cool completely before removing rings.
4. Add Toppings
Prepare each topping as listed above.
Spoon into the center of each cookie.
Let toppings set before serving.
