Can you hear that wind?
It is so blustery and stormy outside
today. It is actually a perfect kind of
day for just spending the day inside
doing absolutely nothing but
diving into a good Netflix series. Um,
but I am going to pop out today. I want
to pop to finesse, grab um a few bits,
some essentials, and uh thought I might
as well whilst I'm there, take you with
me and have a look at the maybe some of
their new autumn fashion. Little brows
in the shops, but otherwise we are
having a very cozy day. I might even do
some cooking later, some baking.
We shall see. Uh, I am going to start
this morning with my breakfast. In fact,
I'll show you what I do because I'm very
much in a routine of having the same
breakfast every day. It's just it works
for me. It's full of good nutritional
goodness. It's healthy and it's
delicious. So, I will prep and show you
my breakfast. But before I do another
thing, I'm just going to head into my
pantry. It's where we keep all of our
kind of supplements, electrolytes. Tom's
got some protein powder in there as
well, collagen, all of that kind of
goodness. But it is also where I keep my
appetone, which I've talked to you guys
about before, and it is a capsule that I
take every single day, just one a day.
Incorporating that into a daily habitual
routine, I find quite easy. I know some
people can like fall on off the
bandwagon, but I feel like when you
start when you start taking them because
it's not necessarily I mean depending on
what you're taking it, it's not
necessarily like an instant wow.
It's one of those things that you stick
with and you see the benefits long term.
So I just it's easy as part of my
routine. I find it really easy. But
yeah, get into it if you if you don't
have it at the same time every day. So
again, for me, morning first thing as I
have my breakfast, I will have my
supplements. And Epto have very kindly
sponsored today's video. I'm going to
leave a link to them below along with a
code which will get you an extra 10% off
your first order. It's Freya 10. But
I've talked to you guys about these
before and a few of you have messaged me
noticing the benefits, too. Over 70% of
people suffer with some form of
digestive discomfort regularly. Whether
that be irregular bowel movements,
bloating, just discomfort in general
with your gut health. Your gut health is
so important. They always I've said this
before, but I always remember my
therapist once telling me that your gut
is like your second brain. So often if
you struggle with like anxiety or um
mood swings or whatever, your gut is the
first thing to tell you before even any
other symptoms arise, you notice it with
your gut. So in order to manage your
digestion, Epome is so easy and
convenient to do that cuz all it is,
I'll show you. It's just one capsule
which is a way that I like to describe
it, it's like a capsule within a
capsule. Can you see that there? So that
just helps it uh reach your guts alive
because there are different bacterial
strains within here, 11 of them in
total. Clinically triled makes it 30
times more effective to reach your gut
alive. And because it is a capsule like
this, it just makes it very easy to and
very convenient for like traveling with
you. You know, there's no need to like
refrigerate anything that um you might
otherwise have to do. It's just a simple
pop in your mouth, swallow. In fact, I
might as well take mine now.
And with my sort of like busy schedule,
I'm here, there, and everywhere trying
to stay on top of energy, fitness,
walking the dog, running errands, eating
out, vlogging for you guys. In the past,
my digestion hasn't always been the
easiest to manage, whereas now it is. If
you haven't heard of it before, it's
formulated by a nutritionist uh who I
follow on socials and have done for a
long time and the nutritionist. I've got
a couple of her recipe books that I've
showed you guys before and she just
because she is a nutritionist, you know,
she knows what she's talking about when
it comes to gut health. It gives me
confidence knowing that she's the one
behind it all. The main sort of benefits
I've noticed it starting less bloating,
uh more less peaks and troughs with
energy, and that is also something that
I think has helped because I've reduced
my sugar intake. So, I used to be
really like sweet tooth. I still am a
sweet tooth naturally, but I have really
refrained and limited myself to sugar
intake. Not saying I don't have any at
all. But I, you know, I would be in the
habit of every single tea or coffee, I
would be having a few biscuits with them
or chocolate bars. I'd be having
desserts after breakfast, lunch, and
dinner. every single time I go to get a
coffee from a cafe, I'd be getting a
piece of cake to go with it. So, I've
really uh cut back on that with the odd
treat here and there. So, like I said,
I'm not restricted by any means, but
simply by reducing my sugar intake,
taking one of these a day, that's the
main thing that I've noticed with my
energy levels is it's been more
sustained rather than up and down. And
if you do want to make gut health part
of your daily routine, I'd recommend
doing what I do, which is like a 3mon
subscription, which gets you the best
value and you get my code Freya 10,
which will get you that 10% off as well.
And it makes it convenient with it
coming and delivered straight to you.
No, it it also encourages you if you are
someone that struggles to remember to
take them every day to take them because
you know that you're getting another
delivery. you don't want to get a
delivery and you've still got loads left
cuz then that means you've not been
taking them. Let's make my breakfast.
I'll show you what I have. It's
essentially like a yogurt bowl. And then
I have my pantry unit which just has
lots of different nuts and seeds and
dried fruits that I will sprinkle on the
top. I also have some frozen berries
which I'll just heat up in a microwave
for like 30 seconds. And it also means
that you've not got berries going moldy
in your fridge. They're in the freezer.
Our favorite ones to get are from Costco
just cuz you get a big bag. They last
for ages and we have them every single
day. Anyway, that is my breakfast. Let's
make it together. Then let's head out to
the shops. Have a nice cozy, wholesome
day together. If you haven't already,
make sure you are set with a cozy drink,
some snacks, maybe light candles, and
let's enjoy the day together.
Dream up a world of pirates.
My dream fall down. Mama, I'm fine.
Don't worry.
Go back out to sea. Sail home sweet home
where the ships must grow to get all
cleaned up and put away.
Call it a day.
I'm not sure. Today
it's a day for rain.
We'll see. I've just got caught in the
rain running into my car, but I'm going
to take Barney to
Tom's Cricket. Cricket in the rain is no
fun. Um I think there'll be a lot of
waiting, so I'm going to drop Barney off
there, I think. And uh yeah, play it by
ear. But I'm going to have a look around
Nutsford um first with him. So hopefully
it brightens up a little bit so we don't
get caught in the rain. I think it is
due to it's meant to be very in and out
today. Right now it's so dark. So I
don't know by the time I get there. Um
might have to hit stop in the car for 5
minutes until the rain stops. But I will
have a little browse around Nutsford
first. They've got a new Cotswwell
company that I want to have a look in.
Maybe grab a bite to eat from Gales.
Um and then what else am I going to do?
Um, yeah, drop Barney off and then I'll
maybe pop over to M&S, maybe even get
some foodie bits in, pick up Barney,
head back home, and show you anything
that I do get.
[Music]
>> Meories.
>> Come.
They're haunting me so I can't sleep.
She was a pretty little liar who cut me
deep
cuz she left me here alone.
Now my bed feels just like
star.
[Music]
Why did she go?
[Music]
The heavens have opened again. So, get
me inside that shop. I am going to pit
stop via Starbucks though and get a
drink. Now, what am I going to have?
That's the question because
I don't think I'm going to go for
anything too
naughty today. I think we're going to
stick with Americano or Coltado. Oh,
they've got some new kiches. So, do you
want some?
>> Hi. Can I please get a um Do you have
any of the grilled cheese toasties?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah, I'll get one of those, please. And
a decaf cortado.
>> Anything else?
>> That's it. Thank you.
>> Thank you.
>> Thanks.
Nice. That was a quick order. Had even
got the window down. She was just
saying, "What do you want? Haven't
decided. I panic. There is panic order.
But I'm pretty happy with my decision
there. Just a little toasty to feed my
belly
and a quartado.
As much as it pains me to not have a
PSL, I would love one.
It's just
a cup full of sugar though, isn't it?
Oh, I need to stop being a Scrooge with
this sugar. No, I'm I should pat myself
on the back with being good. I need to
I'm in two minds. I'm always like, just
have the pumpkin spice latte, just be
done with it. But no, pat on my back for
doing so well and keeping with it. Not
eliminating them all together. I'm just
having the odd one rather than every
single time I go and get a coffee
somewhere. Um, Cortado does have milk in
it, but it's only a little short drink.
But anyway, drink toasty
and then we will head over to M&S. I
should have actually maybe had lunch in
M&S. I'm looking at how busy the car
park and everything has been as I've
been driving past. It is so busy here
today. I'm at the traffic center today.
Um it is just the thought of and it's a
Saturday.
I don't actually know what I was
thinking to be honest with you. Um the
thought of being in a really busy cafe
when I could just do a quick drive
through.
It's much easier.
Thank you. Can I scan the app? Is that
okay? Thanks.
>> Lovely. Thank you.
>> Amazing. Thanks a lot.
I wonder if that is Tom's mom saying the
cricket's off.
Where am I going to go?
Hello.
>> Hi. Sorry. I don't know what happened.
>> I just as you know, they've just called
it off.
>> Have they? I did think they would. It is
tipping it down here.
>> I'm just going to set off back.
>> Oh, okay. So, you're happy to drive
Barney back home then?
>> I think yes. He should be all right,
shouldn't he?
>> Yeah. It is cooled off.
>> Well, I'm going to just pit stop, decide
what I want to do.
because I do feel like
they're going back home. Oh jeez. See,
this is a little treat as well, but you
know.
Oh my goodness. Fresh. Ow, it's hot.
Sorry. I feel like
I'm just focused on eating and also
thinking about what I'm going to do. Oh,
>> hello.
>> Around me on you or just around me.
>> Hello.
I think that's a pocket dial. I think I
am going to go back and I can either go
to a different M&S this afternoon closer
to me, which will hopefully be quieter,
or cuz I do need to get some food in
anyway. um or
do it tomorrow. It wasn't a wasted trip
though because I needed to do some
returns and I've done them. So, that's
good. But everyone's just so busy.
Traffic center on a weekend now.
It's just so hectic. But obviously most
people work during the week, have to
come at the weekends or have kids that
have to come at the weekend. So, it's
just making me grateful that I can film
content for you guys during the week
when it is quieter and I'm able to get
content in the shops. because if I had
to film at the weekend every weekend,
it's just it's too hectic.
Good morning everybody. It's actually
the next day. I ended up yesterday
pretty much um spending the day with
Tom, his mom. We went to watch the
cricket. Like I said, um cricket was
then cooled off.
Went to the traffic center, did my
returns, but just didn't get round to
doing the Marks and Spencers trip. We
ended up going over to I'm just going to
get ready for the morning. Sound a bit
croaky. It's literally the first I've
spoken today other than a good morning
to Tom. We ended up going to uh Tom's
end of season cricket awards ceremony
last night, which I wasn't sure I was
going to be going to or not, but in the
end, because the cricket was cooled off,
we like I said, I came back home. We
ended up having um just a day together,
the three of us. We went for a nice long
walk with Barney. Um and then we were
like, "Right, well, let's just go over
to the cricket club again." And rain had
stopped. Of course, soon as cricket's
cooled off, the rain stopped. And then
we went over to the cricket club and did
an end of season
awards. So, met a couple more of the
players that Tom plays with this year
cuz he's moved over to a new cricket
club this season. Bit closer to here. He
used to play over at Cleo and um yeah,
it was fine whilst we lived over that
way. Oh, are you fetching it?
Someone's just posted something through
the door. Uh and yeah, that was that was
us yesterday. Ended up meeting a few of
the players. Clear road, like I said,
it's just getting a bit it was getting a
bit far to too far to travel really. So
Tom did a couple of seasons there whilst
we lived here. Actually, a few in the
end given that we've now been here in
October. It will be 5 years we've been
in this house. Can you believe it? I
can't. Especially when I think that Tom
and I have been together for
for 10 years. So half of our
relationship is at this house and that
just seems mental to me. um almost half
considering
it just I don't know it feels like this
is like this house almost feels like a
new chapter of our
lives together even though it's
literally half of our lives together
which is so crazy to me and it also does
get me thinking about how
when you're in like routine and um as
much as we are with this house and we're
settled with it and
how quickly time flies.
And I do think that's part and parcel of
getting older,
you know,
start thinking things and you start
thinking, I'm getting older.
I know we're still young, but for me,
I feel like whatever age you are, you
feel like you're getting older. Cuz even
my 20ies, I was like, "Oh, I'm getting
I'm getting towards my late 20ies.
That's basically 30." Now I'm like well
into the 30s and I have spent
some of my evening yesterday whil
watching TV scrolling Tik Tok and seeing
some new viral M&F snacks. My goodness,
some of them look elite. So I will be
keeping my eyes peeled. I don't want to
just go overboard and do a super
unhealthy shop.
But there are some snacks that I just I
don't think I'll be able to resist or
that we can save for Halloween or
something. Um yeah, whilst we were
watching TV last night, I was doing that
and we were watching a new series that
we've started. Well, we actually
finished it yesterday. We started it a
few days ago. Finished it yesterday and
it was definitely a series that I would
recommend. If you've got Amazon Prime,
it's called The Girlfriend. You might
have seen it advertised. You might have
already watched it. If you did, let me
know what you thought of it. But it's
one of those typical thriller
series um like drama series and the
whole basis is around um the
relationships between a
girlfriend of a guy and his mom. So it's
like the dynamic between the middle
party being him and his new girlfriend
and his mom. And yeah, I would say it's
worth a watch. Mascara I'm using
currently, although I've been using this
for a while now, so it might be due up
an update, but telescopic mascara.
Mascaras just seem to last for ages for
me. They just seem to go on and on and
on. I know they say, is it 3 months
you've got to have it open for?
Oh, in fact, it's not on this one. It's
usually on every package, isn't it? It
might have been on a label that I've
peeled off, but pretty sure with
mascaras they say after 3 months you
should
dispose once opened. Quite a stiff
brush, so it separates each individual
lash. Can you hear the music? I hope you
can't. I don't think you will be able
to, but with YouTube, you can't be
playing music in the background or else
you'd be copyrighted. But Tom's got
music on upstairs doing a workout if you
can hear that. Hopefully you can't. My
iconic nude is in my handbag. Oh, in
fact, it's here from last night. I took
it with me. Iconic nude by Charlotte
Tilbury.
Lip gloss. I'm going to use my Kiko
Milano 3D hydro lip gloss in 05.
And then outfit of the day. Very simple
today. Given that I'm going to go to
M&S, I want to see if I can have a look
at their autumn new fashion bits. So, I
thought I'd keep my outfit simple. So,
if I can trans some bits and mix and
match, I want jeans. Although, I've just
noticed there's a mark on these jeans.
They are my Everlane jeans. I've not
worn these in a while. I've kind of
forgot about them given that I've been
wearing my Halara jeans so much lately,
which I still like. You know, these have
a stiffness to them, but um they're not
as tight as I remembered, so they are
comfortable enough. So, I'm going to
wear these jeans. This top is a basic
top that I got recently from Mango. It's
the one that I bought in a few colors
cuz I really like the neckline and the I
just feel like it's going to be a
classic staple. I have this jacket. I'm
not going to wear this cuz I want to see
if I can get it tailored. I've shown it
to you before. I think I bought it last
last season and I didn't end up wearing
it because I felt like it was too
oversized for me
and it's it is too oversized for me.
That's why I need to get it tailored.
But I bought it from vintage so it's
secondhand. So there weren't you know
it's not like I had a choice of sizes
and I didn't know exactly how it would
fit when it got here. But I do like it.
I love the color of it and the length
and I'm happy with the body size being a
bit boxier. But the sleeves, I feel like
I would have to
scrunch up like that, which is fine, but
they just fall down cuz they're so big.
So, if you see, as soon as the sleeves
are down, it just makes it look
ridiculous. Like, my hands aren't even
coming out. So, if I could just have the
sleeves taken up a bit,
maybe that would solve the issue. And as
the jacket, I do absolutely love it, but
I do need to get it tailored. So, I'm
going to leave that one here for now. I
might wear
given that it's looking a little dark
and overcast out there. I might wear my
M&S trench. It was one of the Arquette
dupes again. I think last year this one,
but it's just a simple short trench that
I will wear with a cross body bag. Maybe
my All Saints one that I've been loving.
I wouldn't mind seeing if they've got um
any other bags because I've been leaning
more towards wearing bags without a big
brand on the front. Obviously, I've got
my YSL which I love. Don't get me wrong,
it's my first designer bag. Not that
I've got a whole collection. I've got
these two mainly and I do have a little
smaller Louis Vuitton as well, but with
the bigger sort of like branded logo on
the front, I've just been reaching for
that a little less. And the only other
options that I've got in my wardrobe are
my Uniqlo cross body bag, which is the
same shape as this one, but like a noisy
fabric, so I would say it's more casual.
And then this one, which is a suede from
All Saints. I do have this one from M&S,
but I feel like that's a more of a
clutch. Like I would hold that because I
don't like the chain that comes with it,
and I'm not going to go out and about in
the shops holding my bag. That's more of
like an evening option, I would say.
So, I wouldn't mind seeing if they've
got any other like suede given that
suede is having its moment lately. Suede
bags, maybe even suede boots as well,
like a nice heeed, even low heel, but
heeed boot. Uh, today though for shoes,
I will wear
Is it boot weather yet? I don't know. I
feel like once I'm in the shop, it's not
going to be too Do I wear a loafer?
I have these loafers from H&M and I just
don't know if loafers suit me. I have to
take off the socks. I don't know. I just
feel like Michael Jackson in them. I
don't know why. Uh maybe it's cuz the
color because I do like my Birkenstock
more chunky loafer that's in a suede, a
lighter color. I think I'm going to just
go with a trainer today and I'll
probably put on my Yeah, I'm going to
wear my Vasia chunky trainers. A little
spritz of perfume before we go. I've
been enjoying the orange marmalade Joe
Malone one lately and I have just
remembered
Barney never fetched the mail, did he?
So, let's hope he's not destroyed it.
Hello. I'm talking about you.
I see a little shred of paper. Oh,
Barney.
What have you done?
Did you destroy it? Can't exactly blame
him, can I? What do we expect if we ask
our dog to fetch the mail
and we're not there to supervise?
Oh, thank you. Lucky it's an advert that
we don't need. I can't believe we did
this yesterday. I'm going to turn it off
cuz it is warm down here. We flicked on
the heating.
and it felt so good. Although, having
said that, I mean, it was cold and it
definitely needed it. It's 19 in here
now. That's fine. Uh, it's 21 in the
front room and it's it's a bit toasty.
Um, yeah, we it did need it. It was I
think the house is saying it was 16°,
which was just that little bit too cold.
So, I've turned it back off again now
cuz
it might be a bit too early in the
season to be putting on the heating full
whack. But, um, yeah.
Right. Have I got everything? Let's go
to M&S.
[Music]
Fight off a thousand monsters
hiding in the sand on Mars. Hijack a
flying saucer.
Steady
fly.
I really like this suede jacket. It's
only £40 as well, which I think for M&S
for a jacket is pretty good. I like how
they styled it with some white jeans,
little black belt. It's kind of like a
more of a bomber style. And then we've
got some cozy knips coming in for
autumn. Loads of knit vests as well,
which I love, especially like this
little cable knit one. £28. And then
they've got lots of like kind of wax
jackets or barber style jackets as well.
You can see styled up there. Like the
hooks that they use. I don't know. I
really like it. This one is £90 with the
little corduroy collar and sleeves. And
then this is the kind of like viral
jacket that everyone is buying. I saw it
when they had loads of them in stock,
but they seem to be quite sparse now.
Like this is just a size six. Um, but
yeah, very country Gilmore Girls autumn.
Love it. They also have a shorter
version at £75 with the cream corduroy
collar. You can see the difference in
length that I personally prefer the
longer length ones so that you can wear
them with like leggings and boots. I
would get so much use out of this. But I
do feel like cuz I already have a barber
jacket. I don't know if I'm just buying
unnecessarily. Do you know what I mean?
Cuz that one I am tempted for. I'm not
going to lie. And I'm going to think on
it. I'm going to keep walking around and
have a look elsewhere. Oh, this is cute.
This little cable knit cardigan. 46.
They also have some like Teddy Sherling
Borg materialed
um waist coats which are very similar to
the one I had from the white company
last year. This one's £46.
And the buttons are different. I prefer
the buttons on mine. Can't remember what
they are, but they're not like a gold
like that. Um you can easily remove or
change them. But yeah, very very
similar. And I think the White Company
one is double the price. Lots of
burgundy I'm seeing. And I really like
these trousers. These leather or faux
leather trousers that they brought out.
They brought them in their barrel leg um
style. They're £40. That's not bad. But
I still don't know if the barrel leg
suits me. I've tried. Maybe it's just
like a poor fit that I've tried, but I
just don't know if they suit me. I'm
still after a longer length jean, like a
wide leg. And they've also got the
burgundy and a jumper which they've
styled up on the mannequin with um some
joggers for like a more casual fit.
These are the joggers that they've
styled them with. They are 36. Another
style of jean that I'm seeing a lot of
is like the flare or the boot cut leg
style, which I think for more of a
pear-shaped figure like myself, it is
actually quite a flattering cut, but
it's just I'm not used to wearing flared
or boot cut, but I ought to give it a
try. They don't have these ones in my
size, though. Um, but yeah, what do you
think of the the boot cut or the flare?
Is it going to come back properly or is
it just going to have a moment and then
go again? I think it's going to come
back. All the cozy knits. This Cloud
Yarn crew neck jumper is only £26.
They've got all the neutral colors. I
personally love the first two, the cream
and the gray.
[Music]
>> I love this jacket. I think it's
reversible as well. Yeah, it is. which I
think is a great idea to have a
reversible twoin one. It is Peroon
though. How much is it? Doesn't say on
that one. Uh the price has been taken
off them though. I'm not a big lover of
this color, this like mustard color on
me. But this jumper, £30, it reminds me
with the details and everything of my
Free People jumper that I've got in a
few colors. And they've got some like
widelegg jeans that I might try as well
seeen as they like I said I was after
some. Let's see if they've got a 12.
Yes. Let me hold them up. If they're
long enough, I might try these ones on.
I've just seen they've got that jumper
in gray as well. Last time I was in
here, there was a jacket in the men's
wear that I thought Tom would love. So,
I thought I'd just have a quick look in
the men's wear again for that. But
whilst I'm here, this is really nice. I
would totally wear this even though it's
men's 35. I just undid the buttons. In
fact, I'm going to try that on. You
know, this is men's wear as well. And
it's part of their lamb's wool blend,
but £38.
I do love that. I wish it had a lower V.
I think that makes it a bit more
suitable for the men's department. Just
personally, I would just prefer a
slightly deeper V. I also really like
this jumper, which is cream with the
little cream buttons as well and the
little collar on the little colored
knit. How much is that one? And that
one's £30. I think the men's wear is
cheaper. You know, we've only got extra
large or 2XL, though. That's probably a
bit too big for me given that it's men's
wear as well.
[Music]
>> I saw my friend M bought this and I
loved it on her. I thought, oh, I'll try
that on. Um, but they've only got an
extra small or an extra large. So, quite
the size difference. I have seen though
that they've got it in cream. So, I
don't know whether to try it in the
cream instead.
I'm just thinking with cream jeans, that
one would look really nice. Whereas this
one, it probably be a bit too much cream
on cream on cream. But I could wear this
with blue jeans, blue denim, and it be
nice. It's a really soft fabric. I might
just get both to take into the changing
rooms to try. Um, and just double check
that there's no smalls or mediums.
No, I think it's just extra small, extra
large. I keep seeing these and loving
the look of them, but I'm pretty sure I
I tried these on last time I was in in
like a blue denim and they felt a bit
too small. So, maybe I could size up and
see, but it just felt a bit tight around
like the bum area. Um, but I like the
length of them. The fact that you can
get a longer leg length as well. They're
essentially they give you that effect of
a long jean because they're a denim. I
also have something very similar to this
again from the White Company. This one's
only £50 though. So again, it's kind of
like that half price point. Um, but a
good little staple for wintry dog walks
and for layering. And I like the fact
that this one has, can you see the back
is slightly longer. I always love that
in a top for when I know I'm just going
to be wearing it like on dog walks with
leggings and things. So yeah, I think
that's pretty good at £50.
[Music]
Now could be a good time to get some
shoes with the sales being on for things
like ballet flats where they're
obviously a bit more summery. Um they're
all I think they're 50% off. They all
just have these sales stickers on no
prices, but I think it's 50% off
everything that's in the sale. I feel
like when you come into change rooms
like this and you compare it to the Zara
brand new one worlds apart feel like
they need a bit of an update. But
anyway, anything that actually fits, I
will show you it once it's on. But I've
just got a couple of different jean
options, some little tops, polo shirt
for the men's wear, those vests again,
some more jean options. So, let's get
trying on. This is the knit vest on. And
I do think I prefer the other color, but
I prefer this fit. So, I think this one
is just slightly too snug for me at the
um with it being extra small. I think I
might hold off and get the other color.
Maybe have a look online. I'll leave
anything that I do find linked below if
you did want to shop it online. Um but
yes,
that's my decision. I think
watch me end up buying this. This is the
fit of the extra small, hence why a
couple of buttons are undone. Um, I do
quite like this color again with a a
lighter bottom. And these I think
they've definitely helped sizing up. So,
I've sized up to a 14. And they are they
are a little bit baggy, but obviously
because they've got the drawstring, you
can tighten them in. Um, but it just
means that it's not tight across here
anymore, which I prefer. Like it just
falling a bit more. Nice and long as
well. The only thing is with these, and
these ones are the long length, which I
wanted to get, um, is that there's a
mark on them. So, I'm I am actually
going to get these if I can find a pair
without a mark because I've tried to
scratch it off and I can't get it off.
So, fingers crossed they have these
because I do really like them and I
think they will look nice because of the
long length with um my Birkenstock
loafers. I feel like this is prime
example that sizing is it doesn't
matter. Got an extra small on top. I've
got a 12 on the bottoms. The trousers I
just tried on are a 14. I'm getting
them. This is fine. And these are too
big.
Um, I also don't know how I feel about
the Plaza wide leg. They're too There's
just too much fabric. I think it's a bit
too
Look at it's too much. I really wanted
to love this top, but it is so scratchy.
So, unfortunately, I'm going to leave
it. Um, but just thought I would show it
to you on whilst I've got it on anyway
with the uh plazo trouser. Just just got
my foot caught in them then because
there's that much material. Yeah,
unfortunately now I've got this polo on.
It definitely feels more of like a fit
for men. Um, the sleeves are obviously
quite long so I've just turned them up
which I don't mind. And I could just
like kind of half tuck it. This is the
medium by the way, but it's the bottom.
It feels a bit um slimmer fit around the
here, which I know it doesn't look it,
but I mean, just look at me. That is not
flattering, is it? And this is a medium,
so I couldn't size up to large or size
down to small either. Um, so I don't
like it, but this is the fit. It
definitely,
if they did this in a women's oversized
fit, I think it would work. Right, I've
just come to homeware. Thought I'd have
a quick look at what they've um got in
new in some new cushions for autumn. The
shelves are looking kind of sparse
though. I'm not going to lie. And it
doesn't look like they've got loads in.
So, I'm not convinced we'll be able to
get much from the homeware department,
but these are pretty. These little Let's
Celebrate ones are cute as well. How
much are they? £4 for a set of two. And
look at their Halloween stand. I feel
like they definitely need to uh restock.
I'm hoping the hoping the food section
isn't this empty either cuz I was
planning on a full food shop. Oh, these
are so pretty at £12. Look how nice they
are. These little napkins, pumpkin
napkins. I love all of these tones for
autumn as well. The dark woods and dark
greens. That's a really nice server
platter.
Little wooden salad servers. £10. So, I
was just about to buy these, but I've
just seen they're actually four
different designs in each pack. So, if
they'd have all been pumpkins, I love
that illustration. But there's a toad
stool, which I don't love that one. What
else have they got? That squash is quite
nice. And the maple leaf has a lot of
pink in it. So, I kind of wish they'd
have just been all pumpkins. I would
have definitely bought those had they
have been, but never mind. These little
photo frames are quite nice, but again,
I really just like that color mostly. I
think to be honest with you for homeware
M&S is better online at least with our
local store anyway. They just don't seem
to have anything that stands out to me.
Like these are just no or this full
range of these um green and blue bows. I
mean they're pretty and I can see why
some might like them, but there's just
not really much of my kind of aesthetic
here. And I've also seen online they're
starting to get like Christmas bits and
bobs in where I just feel like this
store still has summer things in.
How nice are these sambari overnight
wheat biscs? And then they also do the
apple crumble overnight oats that I
like. It's 11:00 and I haven't eaten yet
today. So this is dangerous. Doing a
shop. I might try this one, you know.
Bonafi overnight wheat bis 16 g of
protein. Is it high in sugar though?
Probably. They also do a blueberry
yogurt bowl, bit like an aai bowl, but
obviously with blueberries instead of a
fruit. Um, I don't know which one to go
for for my breakfast. Or maybe do I just
at this point skip breakfast? I have got
a chicken to have a salad, like chicken
Caesar salad. So maybe I'll just have
salad for lunch and brunch, breakfast
all in one. See people talking about
these. They're meant to be really good.
mac and cheese bites if you're a Marmite
fan. I think they do like a Marmite
caramel sauce as well somewhere. Um, but
I don't know if I am a Marmite fan. I
bet I would like them, but I'm going to
resist on this occasion. They've also
got the Marmite in the pizza. Here's
another one. I feel like Marmite is
having its moment, that's for sure. This
is like a little cheese bake with
Marmite in it as well. Let me know. Are
you a Marmite fan or not? This is
another new which I feel like would be
good if you were hosting an Arctic Colin
the caterpillar. So it's got uh it's
like a dessert but with kind of more
iced. If you didn't know as well M&S
sell Dalesford the bone broth that I
like. Um they have their soups as well
but the bone broths are just like full
of goodness even just to have as like an
afternoon snack rather than a full meal.
Although I've never tried the beef one
before. That sounds good. I might give
that one a try. We had pizza recently
and it came with a chili or hot honey
and it was so delicious. I'm thinking
about trying this. Although that's
definitely You can tell it's more of a
sauce than a honey. And the one that we
he had was more honey. So I wonder if
there's a honey version with a bit of
chili in instead. Although what's this?
Coffee barbecue sauce.
Sounds interesting. It is hot chocolate
season in full swing. And they've got
these new flavored hot chocolates. I
like the sound of the mocka latte
drinking chocolate. I think it's just
like chocolate flakes bit like this one
that you just add hot milk to. Here we
go. This is the sauce that I was talking
about that people are talking about on
Tik Tok. Caramel Marmite.
I'm not so sure. I'm also by the honeys
and they have got a hot honey uh sorry
hot maple syrup but not a hot honey I
can't see I wanted to find these as well
these are a naughty treat but although
the biscuits the outrageously chocolatey
borbins and custard creams are elite
they brought out some new ones so I
really like these little bite-sized ones
that they do um so these aren't that new
but I'm going to get those to pop in the
cookie jar these ones are new little
wafer rounds
Um, and then these as well. They're
light custard creams, but they're with
speckos, which is like lotus biscoff.
So, I might get those to try as well.
These are also new, I think. Yeah,
they're part of the Christmas range, but
these cookie dunkers, they've got
peppermint and double chocolate.
And then again, the specks and toffee
cookie cutters. Cookie cutter. Cookie
cookie dunker. So, they're a good size
obviously for dunking. That's the whole
point of them. I don't know which ones
to try. Or maybe do I hold off trying
these ones? I've already got some
biscuits to try. But they do look good.
I think I'd quite like the peppermint
ones. You know, I remember these from
last year. They say new, but they
definitely did them last year. Cinnamon
bun bites or at least something similar.
And they are delicious. Good for um
well, they're like a Christmas edition.
I also want to try these, which are new.
They do these Swiss clouds, which
they've done for a while, but these ones
are without nuts. Then they have their
little munch mixes that they do every
year as well for Christmas. I've never
actually got them to try because they
don't sound that appealing to me. I was
expecting a lot more for Halloween, but
this seems to be it. Like this is the
whole Halloween section. Then there's
Christmas this side and normal this
side. So, I'm kind of underwhelmed with
their Halloween selection. But they've
got these pumpkin biscuits that look
good. Spooky cookie dough bites. These
are similar to those cinnamon ones for
Christmas. Salted fudgy brownie cookie
dough bites with candy and brownie
pieces.
Little caramel ghost
and
hocus crocus
frog. And then the Christmasy ones
they've got similar to last year again.
They've got the caramel tree. That
sounds good. The peanut butter reindeer
bubbly Santa. And then Oh, that's good.
They do like a huge version. Uh little
Christmas chocolates with the dogs. Oh,
that's cute. Santa's Christmas journey.
I got these last year if you remember to
go on the tree. Then they've got some
savory Christmas snacks. The sticky
toffee cashews sound good. Hot maple
popcorn.
Um what else? Some tortillas, crisps.
Pretty similar to last year, I would
say. I don't know why I'm showing you
Christmas stuff already, but here we go.
It's It's being brought to us on the
shelves. Tempted to try the hot maple
popcorn. That does sound nice. I feel
like both Tom and I would like that. Or
do we just not steer from our classic
Butterkiss, which is the best? Could try
it in uh crisps instead. Maybe. Like
passing ships. Tom has literally just
left. I had to put them on. It's on.
It's so dark and uh stormy outside.
Back home. And I thought I'd show you
what I picked up. the jeans that I tried
on those light colored jeans. I asked if
any cuz I went back to where they were
and there weren't any more in that size
with um the long leg length. So I said,
"Is there any more in the back?" She
said, "No, that's what we've got." And
she said, "And to be honest with you,
we've had those that long. I'm surprised
they're not in the sale already." And I
thought, "Oh, do I hold off?" And I
said, "Well, I'm just after another pair
that don't have a mark on." And she said
unfortunately even she said all of the
white stuff came with marks on it which
isn't very good is it? So even if they
had another size of mine in store in the
back which they don't then like I said
all of them had marks on pretty much
which is annoying for a white jean I
wasn't
you know I could have got money off at
the checkout she said but then it's
non-refundable non- returnturnable and I
don't know if the mark's going to come
out. I did get this bit TMI for all
mostly girls on this channel. Anyway, I
did get these, which I've seen that they
do um in M&S, the period pants, which I
decided to pick up. Now, I have a couple
of pairs like this sort of style from
Primark, which I tend to sleep in. Um,
but it was mostly these two that I
wanted to pick up. Firstly, the nude
set, so that if I wore lighter colored
clothes, you could wear these. I wish
they did these in a thong version
though. They do do a thong version, but
they only had them in black and one
leopard print. Two black, one leopard
print. I'd prefer if they were all black
and all nude, but whatever. Um, but
yeah, I've never seen a period pant
that's in a thong form before. So, I
thought that was ideal for, you know,
like just on the last day or the first
day or whatever, where you're bit
lighter or I don't know, you just want
that added peace of mind to have it as a
period pen even if you don't necessarily
need do do you know what I mean? And
then I did get some foodie bits. So, I
saw, as you saw, sorry, I got the
rotisserie chicken. I'm going to have
that now with some salad leaves. I just
went for I was going to buy a full
Caesar salad kit that they do, but to be
honest with you, I only use half the
sauce that they give. We've got parmesan
if I wanted to sprinkle that on. And
croutons I'm not that bothered for
having. I would rather have no bread if
I can. So, I thought I'll just get a bag
of iceberg lettuce, do some kind of of
my own dressing, even if it's just a bit
of mayonnaise. Chicken and mayo I love.
Or even as a sandwich, that would be
really nice. Tom's going to have some.
He's just gone for a run, but when he
gets back, he's going to have some. He
might have it in a wrap or something
with some iceberg lettuce. I'm really
intrigued by these kiwi berries. They
were on offer two for £4, so I thought
you don't get that many in there. Let me
just get two. I don't think I've Do you
just eat the full lot? Perfect for
snacking. Wash before use. Let me just
wash this one. I know with kiwis you can
actually eat the skin. I would never eat
the skin, but these aren't furry or
anything. They are.
[Music]
It looks like a kiwi. Wow. They're a bit
more tart than a kiwi. Wow. I like
these.
Juicy, sweet, but a little bit sharp.
Oh, I did get
the viral
gingerbread and white chocolate cookies.
Now, am I right in saying these have
come back? Cuz I am pretty sure I
remember having these last year for
Christmas time around that time they
brought them out. They brought some kind
of white I'm sure it was gingerbread and
white chocolate. Always confuses me in
the shops when they say new cuz I think
are they new or are they just a return?
these snacks. Oh, I feel like I need to
do a snack taste test with you all,
though.
Okay, there's a little piece in here of
one. Can you see like a mini one?
I knew I'd like these. That's the size
of them normally. And they're a
chocolatey cluster.
Oh, wow. Okay, these
really good because they're Oh,
actually, sorry, it's just the flavor's
hitting me. They're malt, so they're
like a malta multi-holixy.
The flavor of them are delicious. This
could be my new favorite M&S snack, like
treat snack. These I'm just going to go
straight in the cookie jar. I've had
those before. Love them. Same with these
are just a stock up of the treat
section. These sort of things last
forever. So, um, little dark chocolate
rice cakes when during the week when I'm
being I never do no sugar, but I try and
if I'm going to have sugar, even though
I've just a bit of a mouthful of that, I
try and have dark like a piece of dark
chocolate or something like these where
they're only 120 calories per pack and
it's dark chocolate. So, anyway, I got
those for a treat. And then these ones
as well to stock up the cookie jar as
well. And again, they've got good shelf
lives on, but the speckos flavored. And
then just standard milk, some salmon,
the bone broth. I decided to get the
chicken and the beef one. They are they
are pricey. Okay. But they did another
brand and they were the same price. So I
guess you're paying for Dale's food as a
brand, but also bone broth anyway. Fresh
bone broth bone broth is going to be
pricing. But it
I see it as
you pay more to eat healthy food, which
is annoying, but you're filling your
body with goodness. So, I'm happy to pay
more to
Do you know what I'm trying to say? I
feel like we live in a world where fast
food and poor quality food is so
accessible, so affordable in comparison
to healthier food that I mean, you could
do it more affordably by maybe doing
your own bone broth.
But then the time and effort put into
that, if you have that, then fine. But
anyway,
I'm paying for convenience as well as
health. But yeah, healthy food does cost
more. It's like even salmon fillets.
It's like salmon fillets. Two salmon
fillets. And this isn't just M&S. This
is across the board with supermarkets.
Aldi, you know, I'll buy them from
anywhere. But they're all sort of like
£5.
Do you know what I mean? Greek yogurt. I
have that for my breakfast. And we did
have a bread topper in the fridge that
Tom bought cuz when I bought this with
the bread topper, let me show it to you.
when we first when it first kind of came
out in the summer and I tried this um
and we loved it so much that Tom has
since bought one of these but he didn't
see any of these with them so he bought
that anyway knowing that they've got
pretty good shelf lives on and I thought
I'll grab this um so that we've got this
to have um and I have just come home to
a parcel I haven't opened it yet so I
thought we could open it together
very precariously balanced there but
it's from a brand called by matter who
I've talked about before. They do, if
this is a top up, I don't think it is
cuz it's not the same but they do
a like a fabric freshness spray, which I
love in I think it's called Away Day or
something like that. Another day, not
Away Day. Another day. Yeah, another
day. This is another top up of another
day. It feels like a different
packaging. Maybe they've just updated
the bottle. It's the same product by the
looks of things. Give clothes another
day. Refresh clothes. Eliminate odor.
24-hour action. It's like dry shampoo
for clothes is how they advertise it. I
know it's for clothes, but I'm going to
spritz these stems from Neptune that
I've got.
It smells so nice.
Lavender eucalyptus. This is a perfect
room spray to have or room spray fabric
spray. Spray. Why can't I sleep today?
um to have beside your bed because when
you make your bed in the morning and you
just finish off with a spritz of that,
it just feels like it completes making
the bed. And equally before going to
bed, um when I take off all the cushions
and everything, which I do as I go
upstairs, if I have a pillow spray or
something, I'll spritz it and then go
into the bathroom, do my makeup, my skin
care routine, brush my teeth, all of
that, and then come back and the bedroom
smells lovely. Just a little touch of
something to help calm the mind before
going to sleep. That's everything that I
got from the shops. I need to put all
these bits away now. I don't know what
I'm going to do for the rest of the
afternoon. I have got some tidying up to
do in fact from yesterday. You know,
sometimes when you go to bed, I wish I
was that person that went to bed every
night and I would clean the space before
going upstairs, but quite often I look
at it and I go, deal with that tomorrow.
I forgot to show you as well. I got
these. I won't put it on the table cuz I
know new shoes on a table. bit of a
superstition, but I got these suede
loafers. I was quite um they had quite a
lot of sale footwear in, but I wasn't
that impressed with the I was looking
for like suede boots, heeled boots.
There was one pair that I thought was
okay. I didn't fall in love with them,
but also they didn't have my size
anyway. But anyway, yeah, these were in
the sale and I'm usually a 6 and 1/2, I
would say. And the seven was too big.
They only had two sizes left, a six and
a seven. And I ended up going for the
size six, but they're a really soft
suede, so I thought these would be
really nice to style if I'm wanting
something a bit more slim fit that my
Birkenstock suede ones. These were half
price, £27.

Why did she go?
I met her back in 2005.

It was a crooked little smile that

She promised me to never leave my sight.
