Join me as I take on La Plata Peak via the Northwest Ridge Route — a 9.5-mile round trip with over 4,400 feet of elevation gain and a Class 2 rating. This route offers everything from forested switchbacks to wide-open alpine views, plus a challenging ridge climb to one of the most beautiful summits in the Sawatch Range.
